Despite having seat covers on, (that I took off for the detail) my car looked really worse for wear. I have a large dog, and so the pet hair and sand from the beach was getting out of control. After the detail was done, you would think I just drove it off the lot, brand new! The communication was top tier as well. I requested a quote on Yelp & was able to get my detailing scheduled immediately. Between the phone call, email, and Yelp chats, everything was clear, concise, and great customer service overall!! The technician was super sweet, and has great attention to detail. My car looks better than it did when I first bought it 5 years ago! I had exterior plus interior complete detail and headlight restoration all done in 3.5 hours for an awesome price. My car honestly looks better than the day I bought it. The interior restoration was phenomenal. Every surface was meticulously cleaned, conditioned, and revived. Justin saved me about 1400K in detailership repairs. He was able to renew and restore my center console to factory settings. The leather looks rich and hydrated, the trim has a beautiful finish, and even the smallest details were handled with care. You can tell they truly specialize in restoration, not just surface cleaning. What really sets them apart is their focus on preventative care. They didn't just make the car look incredible he protected it. The treatments and protective coatings they applied give me confidence that the interior and exterior will stay in top condition for the long haul. If you're looking for a detailing service that delivers luxury level and results and treats your vehicle like it's their own, this is it. Outstanding work, exceptional attention to detail, and absolutely worth every penny. Hands down I will not go to anyone else or recommend my friends or Sailors to anyone else but him. He is outstanding at his craft and passionate.

Where things started to slip was on the pickup side. I was told the car was ready, but still ended up waiting about 30-40 minutes before actually getting it. At checkout, I was also surprised to see a tip screen with suggested amounts that felt pretty high given the service. I ended up leaving a small tip, but the experience itself didn't really match that level of expectation. I also would have appreciated a quick walkthrough of the work that was done--especially at that price point--but it was more of a quick handoff of the keys. I came back for the 10-day follow-up and made a point to ask about timing ahead of time. I was told it would take about an hour. I arrived early, but after an hour the car hadn't been touched yet, and there wasn't any update unless I asked. That part was frustrating. So, they ended up rushing my 10-day follow-up inspection. Gave the car a quick rinse and handed me the keys. What was the point of driving down from Carlsbad??? Over 3 hours wasted. For comparison, I had a great experience at their Kearny Mesa location previously, so I know what they're capable of. This location is stretched thin, which seemed to impact communication and overall service. I was not the only customer in the lobby feeling this way. Given the type of clientele they're working with and the pricing, I was expecting a bit more consistency and attention to detail. Their follow-up consisted of more sales pitches of coupons for services I already had done. Would have been nice to have the discounts PRIOR to the work! I planned on using the wash program and mentioned to Jasmine my poor service experience. Think there was follow-up? Nada. So, thumbs "kind of" up for Ceramic Pro but thumbs down for this location. Overall, I think the company itself does good work, and have used the Kearny Mesa location in the past several times with excellent success!! I would not choose this location again.

I am so incredibly stoked right now because my car looks brand new again. There is no exaggeration in my words. It is SPOTLESS. They somehow got the carpets completely cleaned and not a spot is left behind. They miraculously got the melted crayon off my leather seats! I am truly amazed at the quality and detail of their work. The price was very affordable too! And the best part is that they came to my house! I will no longer be so ignorant as to think I should try to detail my car myself. I am completely sold on this company!

He even discounted the price more after he was done since "it was only a spot job." Even though this happened a few years back, I still saved his business card (which I just recently stumbled upon). Based on this experience, I would definitely recommend Chris and Aqua Detail.
