Been here few times in past only because it's cheap and I live a block away. Never the greatest massage but sometimes just good enough for a "quickie". Today dropped in for the $20 foot massage - place was empty. Lady repeatedly badgered me to get the $40 body massage. Not just one time politefully asking if I might be interested in upgrading.... but 3 or 4 times insisting I agree to body massage. I've driven past a few times and decided to go in to get a brochure a few wks ago. I finally went in for a facial and swedish on Saturday and was definitely a happy customer leaving. Everything was good! Sandy did my massage and was great! I will definitely see her again. 1 star deducted for two reasons: 1. They ask you to pay before..I guess that's okay (not really) but if you use a card, it doesn't give you a area on the receipt to leave a tip so I had to have them run my card again since I didn't have cash on me. So I suggest either adding the tip to the total (which isn't right because until the service is over, how do you know how much you want to tip!) or telling/asking them to pay after...oh yea, OR just bring cash lol 2. The lady who did my facial though nice, had COLD hands! SO when she was putting on the stuff in the beginning, it was freezing! Going home from the downtown Hayward BART station, I saw a lighted massage sign across from the Hayward Public Library and that is how I first noticed LM Nice Spa. I was actually pretty surprised because the massage type businesses do not seem to gain much popularity in the Hayward area. They have some grand opening specials and I decided to take advantage of the foot massage special for the girlfriend and myself. The interior is simple but clean. In front of the foot massage area is an LCD TV with spa like music to pair with the video of different saltwater fish. We took up two of the six or so foot massage chairs they had and they also made us aware there were two rooms available for body massages. I've only had one foot massage before (in Beijing), but what I liked about this experience is that they did some neck/shoulder massage on you while your feet were soaking for about the first 10-15 minutes of the 60 minute session. I would have liked that they focused more on the feet because I felt they only concentrated on massaging the feet about 50% of the time even though it was a "foot massage." My masseuse mentioned that the type of massage they give for both the foot and body massages techniques are a combination of Chinese, Thai, and western. Great budget priced massage in Hayward and very interested in seeing how they grow their business and improve the quality of their masseuses. read more

I started going here a few months ago after my friend Char recommended them. I've had shoulder and back problems for many years and its been hard to find a good deep massage therapist. I've had both Tiffany and Cindy work on me and what I really like is that they always check to make sure your OK plus they are very kind and thoughtful. And I feel SO much better afterwards! Looked them up on Yelp and got an awesome massage! I love the fact that they closed at 9pm, but yet they were willing to take us in just a little past 8pm, so that was a bonus. The service was good as well. They didn't try to up sell me which was good (&by up sell I mean sell me more than what I came in for initially), but he did let me know of other services that I might be interested in for the next visit. When I called I asked for a foot massage and how much it was, they said $20 and when I got it, it was head, hands, feet, legs and back. I got Michael and yeah it was pretty intense as far as the strength level, but it felt soooo good! I've never felt so relaxed after a massage, but was definitely worth it for the price. They also said that before 1pm it was 14.99 for the same massage. I do plan on going back here pretty often. The place isn't the most fanciest, but it was definitely comfortable. Joe, I love you!! I work super close to this place and have been trying to go once a week. I get the $20 "foot massage" even though it's a whole body massage with clothes on. Confusing at first. The chairs so super comfy, they put your feet in hot water, and I normally fall asleep. I have also gotten a mani/pedi here and they did an excellent job. They also have a stamp card which is always good. :) The DOWNFALL of this place, like someone else said before, they advertise 1 hour foot massage $15 but it's only $15 BEFORE 1PM. After that it's $20, which still isn't too bad, they just don't advertise it. Also, if you get the "foot massage" they normally keep the sliding door open to the front area so there can be talking or noise while you're trying to relax. read more

Was there yesterday with my wife first you pay including with tip so total was $80.00 with 1 hr full body massage We were the only ones there our massage persons were joe who massaged my wife and Linda who massaged me. Our experience less satisfactorily because the massage was not even 1 hr our massage session started around 11am and finished right at 12pm during those 60 min joe answered his phone calls and checked in a customers at front desk and and that included going back and forth for hot towels and hot stones which significantly reduced 1 hr massage allocated per paying customer my wife was not happy she said he didn't massaged her feet at all which I guessed he skipped. What even was worst that joe finished my wife massage at the same time my massaged stopped our massage experience concluded that 1hr massage was like only 30 to 40 min of actual massage which included answering calls checking in customers and fetching for hot towels and stones felt like total waste of our time and ripped off been coming here for couple of years but service is going downhill. Let me begin by saying this is my first time but my bfs second. Half way through the service (we both had full body massage) another customer came in to be serviced but requested a female since the only two females were servicing us the male receptionist obliged the customer by asking my bfs massage therapist if she could take the new client. She agreed and left my bf & had the male receptionist complete my bfs service....which should of consisted of the second half of an hour service! From my bfs account the second half of the service was far below par consisting of a light facial massage & some toe grabbing when the receptionist asked him to sit up and began grabbing at his earlobes it was the end my bf couldnt take anymore and asked that the massage cease. When we left i was asked "how was everything?" This was a loaded question....for me fine, i replied but for my bf not fine! I let the receptionist/ massage therapist know we were not at all pleased withe the swap & how unprofessional this practice is. He began to defend his action telling me it was common practice there & that all his customers were pleased! PLEASE....i retorted that i am a customer & we were very displeased...he relented this banter went on for a few minutes as the gals tried to reason with him in Vietnamese. He did the same thing so total message was 35 mins. Not even worth the 15 bucks. I came in for a facial. I would NOT do it again. The lady was nice, but as soon as I walked in she insisted that I let her wax my eyebrows and she continued insisting throughout the 30 minute facial. The room wasn't closed off, which allowed a lot of noise in. Instead, it was built in, meaning that the top was exposed. She used a steamer and that was great, but rinsed my face off with a rough rag. She also used a Clarisonic like tool that hurt. I almost had to tell her to stop. When she finished, I noticed that the bucket of hot water she was dipping the rag in was full of dark water and was covered by a kitchen plate. I also noticed that the Clarisonic had bristles that were pretty much gone. Not hygienic if she uses that on every face without cleaning or if it's old. That might explain the rash/bubbles that are now on my chin right below my lip. Update: it's been almost 6 months and my skin is still flipping out under my chin. I never had skin problems before. It's a rash and some parts are bubbly. I need to talk to a dermatologist. read more

I went in for a massage 2 days ago, and left feeling like the only thing massaged was my wallet. I had to go to another spa today, and that one was great!!! I was a regular at LM Nice Spa, but last month, I walked out after being left in a room by myself for over 15 minutes past my scheduled massage. I went back 2 days ago thinking I would give them another chance, as I was a regular. I told the girl on the phone we were coming back, and she said would be no problem. The woman who gave me the massage didn't know the first thing about a body massage. I feel like the owner called his sister or someone to come in and do a massage because he has no one else there. I was a regular, hour long massage client for over a year. I was very impressed with Michael's training and skills. I had a very good relationship with the staff. But when I completed my frequent client card, which stated that I was entitled to a "free massage" at $34.99 value, (massages are $35 before 1 pm) they tried to tell me it was only worth $15. I repeatedly asked why $34.99 was specifically written on the card, and how could it be worth the same as the value of 10 $15 foot massages? They couldn't answer, and just kept getting louder... All in all, I spent $350 for 10 massages and should have been entitled to 10%, same as the foot massage. I had to find another place, there are lots of them in the area. This is a great place. Tammy has owned it about 2 or 3 years now and will make sure you get a good massage. If you don't, let her know and she will make it right. $40 (pre tip!) for a great one hour massage is a great deal. She has Tiffany coming in on Tuesdays but she's usually booked up now. Her new masseuse, Michelle, is also great. And if you can get Tammy to massage you, she's wonderful. The foot/mini body massage was okay. I was pleasantly surprised to receive almost a full body massage and only paid for a foot massage:). My husband is very muscular and requested a deep tissue massage. Though the massage was relaxing for him, the you g lady was not strong enough to get deep down in his tissue, but it was not bad. They also offer nail services, waxing services and eyelash extension service. I asked for the eyelash service and I was not pleased at all with the outcome! There were large clumps of black glue quite visible. Not what I expected to see, however I did not notice this until later that night. When I returned for a refund the next morning, it was handled very unprofessional. They tried to give me a gift certificate as a source of a refund because they could not figure out how to refund on their credit card machine. Finally, with much professionalism on my part they gave me cash back and required me to sign a hand written document stating that they had refunded my money. All in all, we will not return! NOTE: I forgot to get a copy of why I signed do I went back in approximately 5 minutes later and there was a hand written note at the front desk stating all sales are final as of 1/30/2012. For the price, the service is outstanding. I had a male massage therapist and I wish I could remember his name because he gave me a great massage, one I would value as much as massages I have received at places like Massage Envy. I thought I would be getting just a foot massage, but the foot massages at this place are like entire full body massages (on top of clothing because you are in a common room with other guests). It is true that you can hear the commentary and conversations of other guests, but this does not bother me at all as I am not super sensitive to things like that and the majority of the time it was dead silent. But, for the amount of money you are saving my doing massage in a common room it is totally worth it!!! (I believe it is $15-20 for the hour foot/really full body massage, but I am not sure because I had a gift certificate so best to call ahead). The foot massage chairs I found to be very comfortable and the lighting in the room was nice and dark, soothing music, I liked it. They even soak your feet in hot water for like 10 minutes before they even start the massage, and then at the end they wipe your extremities off with warm towels. Great experience, especially for the price. I was sure to give my therapist a tip of $20 because that is what he deserved after doing an hour long super professional massage and I would imagine he is not getting paid much per hour if the massage itself only costed $15-20 and actually takes longer than a full hour. I would encourage any one who tries this place out to tip generously (if you are happy with your service), even thought the actual cost of the massage is very low. The therapists deserve more than the standard 20% of the service fee, you know what I mean? read more
