Normally I don't write reviews, but I felt obligated to do so because the way I was treated. I haven't felt so appreciated and valued for a very long time. First, let me start off by saying that I called Lumber Liquidators to purchase the same type of floor that I bought from them in 2014 (Red Oak Hard Wood). I was a little nervous that they weren't going to have the floor. I first dealt with a representative by the name of Floyd who assisted me in getting the exact flooring that I needed. Floyd was very professional and knew exactly what I needed for my project. Once I got to the store I met Ravindra Rav Chan. He assisted me in getting the floor I needed. Rav was also extremely professional and very knowledgeable. I eventually bought two boxes of flooring to replace the damage floor area in my home. After installing the two boxes I realized that I was short only a few pieces. I also had about 10 to 12 pieces of flooring that came damage and reported it to Rav. After speaking with Floyd, they decided to give me half price on the box I needed. Needless to say, they didn't have to do it and I didn't even ask them for a discount. This was something that they decided to do, which is the right thing to do. I would strongly recommend to anyone looking for flooring to visit the Lumber Liquidators in Yonkers and ask to speak with either Rav or Floyd; you will be treated as a valued customer. Fantastic experience!! We were hesitant in going with a well-known company such as Lumber Liquidators because we immediately thought it was going to be expensive. After visiting the store, the product selection was reasonably priced and we caught an amazing sale on a beautiful piece of vinyl flooring. Sam M. and Rav were absolutely wonderful to work with. Sam answered all of our pesky questions and was so insightful about materials, installation and financing. Sam and Rav were there for us from the purchase through the installation. Words can't express how impressed we were with the installation team as well! Two fantastic guys that installed over 800 sq. ft. in a day and a half with no fuss or confusion. My visit to this LL location was a very positive one. The employees were very helpful and accommodating and I feel, truly went out of their way to make me happy. I've purchased flooring a few times now and have experience with other LL locations. The Yonkers store wins my vote as the best experience. The store is easy to get to, the parking is especially easy considering Yonkers is a city. The store was in great shape with a fully stocked show room. Everyone working was attentive and knowledgeable. These are people who care about the customer, the business and take pride in their job. I walked away impressed and motivated to write a positive review, something I do very rarely. The product most recently purchased from LL is Bellawood, 3" red oak. I had four days before my husband was coming home from the hospital and we needed to convert a room into a bedroom - including putting in flooring. Because the flooring needed 48 hours acclimate to the room, I had just one day to order and get delivery of the flooring. I called the Yonkers store and got Sam. She was amazing. Not only did she get my order placed immediately, when she found out their delivery truck was booked, she offered to personally deliver the flooring the next day. She and a co-worker loaded the flooring into her car and after working late helping another customer, they delivered the flooring into the room in my house. I was so very grateful. She made it possible for my husband to come home to a finished bedroom. This woman needs a raise and a promotion, and I'm grateful for the excellent customer service from this store. read more

I had to install a laminate floor according to the rules of my condo. I have to say my wife and I were pretty apprehensive about installing such a product since we always had solid wood floors in the past. Well were we shocked at the way it turned out! Our floors are beautiful, look almost like real wood and feel great to walk on due to the installed vapor barrier and underlayment. The installation crew was outstanding, were masks the whole time, were very polite, clean and did an amazing job! Sam and Rav were wonderful to deal with and addressed every concern we had leading up to the installation. I wouldnt hesitate in recommending this type of product and especially the Yonkers location. read more

Purchased laminate flooring form Sam Moya who made it stress free. She really knows her stuff and was able to give us the pros and cons on the two types of flooring we were looking it. It was with her guidance that we were able to make an easy choice. We even took most of what we needed with us that day with the exception of two pieces of molding that she ordered from another store for us. Got it in 3 days and when I went to pick it up the flooring had gone on sale. She contacted corporate and got us a $207 refund. "Rav" Chan is an excellent representative of Lumber Liquidator. He is very knowledgeable about floors and about the business. He took care of me with kid gloves which made it easy for me to make a quick and accurate decision about the floor I purchased. After the floor was installed, I needed an extra piece. I called Rav. He helped in ordering an extra transitioning molding over the phone. The piece was home delivered in 3 business days. I didn't have to go to the store. Excellent service! Let me start off by saying that the customer service is amazing. Sam helped me the first time I went in and she was very knowledgeable , friendly and accommodating. I came in a second time and Rav assisted me in placing another order. As a matter of fact the store had already closed but he came out of his car and opened the store just so he could place the order. Incredibly kind and and very professional.
