My wife and I were happy with the work, and we decided to hire him to remodel a closet. This is where our troubles began. We paid him a $700 deposit, and he failed to do the job. For months he gave us excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't work: car trouble, hospital stays, deaths in the family, financial troubles, etc. The list goes on and on, and is consistent with what others have said on Yelp, BBB, etc (both for his current company and his past company, Aversa Wood Crafts). My wife and I have now spent 9 months trying to recover our despot to no avail. Plain and simple, this man is a con artist and a scam. Please do not trust him.
