We purchased our flooring from LL Flooring. They couldn't have been nicer and also very knowledgeable. So much better than the big box stores. I had Questions and needed to speak to them a few times and they answer the phone. No paging and waiting. Unfortunately, I had some issues on my end and Josh, the Manager helped me out twice including on a Saturday. He definitely went out of his way to help. The installer did a good job even though it was a crew of 1 & he didn't speak English. The store in Lutz was a different story. I can't say they were dishonest but they were certainly not forthcoming about costs & policies. The project cost us almost $1800 more than the many invoices had indicated & even though they had all the material costs up front, they refused to deliver them until the labor costs (including the extra $1800) were paid on full, We did not get the installation agreement until we paid in full, To demand labor costs without telling you what your paying for seems questionable and to refuse to deliver materials that have been paid for until you pay labor costs in full is certainly not a common business practice. We're happy with the product, not with the store. read more

Very helpful, we were doing new construction and were held up by other trades due to supply issues and they stored our flooring in their warehouse at no charge. The floor was installed perfectly and the installers were prompt, professional , and obviously are very skilled BC the install was better than perfect and they left the site cleaner than when they arrived. Flooring is decent priced but DONT HAVE THEM INSTALL!! Get someone else. We made two separate purchases from them. The first we also paid for professional installation because my husband (who does not work in flooring but has some experience doing it with family) didn't have the time between work and family. The second time we bought the flooring from them but measured and installed ourselves. The first project they overestimated our needs and we had to bring back. Also, 1.5 years later the floor creaks SOOOO bad it's ridiculous. It's now 3 years later and we will likely need to pull up and install ourselves with how horrible it is. You would think it's 15 years old install. The living room floors are at least 10 years old and don't creak. So the second project, my husband measured and installed as he had the time. We had the perfect amount of material and they are perfect still now two years later. No noise, no loose boards. They make no noise. I so wish we had installed ourself. We chose them to install our bedroom thinking it's the one room we wanted done the best, by professionals. Now we know how poor their work is, it doesn't qualify as professional. And this makes a big deal when you are trying to get up and use the bathroom or go to work at an early hour with a sleeping baby in the room. We used Lumber Liquidators in Lutz for our home in Odessa many years ago. The staff at the store was informative and friendly. When they quoted us the demo and installation, they were not able to predict some of the underlying issues. They ate the cost to ensure the floor was well prepared for new installation. This was almost a thousand dollars. The end result was beautiful. So we used them again when we moved to new Tampa. Another beautiful job. Unfortunately, we were not happy in the New Tampa home so we recently moved to Lutz (bigger property). We considered other companies but we again landed with Lumber Liquidators. Best prices around for sure. I simply needed baseboards to complete a flooring project due to a flood restoration project that has been a nightmare over the past few months. Shopped around to find the best prices since I was using insurance money and needed to set a strict budget. When I originally visited this location a week ago, they had 5 1/4" baseboard on sale for 99 cents per linear foot. A week later, I called the national sales department to reserve the product, they told me it would be $1.59/LF because the sale was over and I still agreed to buy it since Lowe's and Home Depot were charging much more for this product. Final total came out to 99 cents per LF and the sales person still claimed it was $1.59 per LF (I'm not a math whiz, but I know this was impossible). Picked up my baseboards in person and sure enough, there was the exact amount I ordered with a receipt I present for 99 cents per LF. Short wait and the manager loaded the baseboards into my car. I am a happy customer despite the call center mishap. Who doesn't love being charged less than expected???!! My only complaint is that they use an installer who could not help me for a few weeks and I had to find a handyman in my neighborhood to install. read more

Then 6 months later, i needed an extra piece that i didn't buy and they had it in stock and gave it to me without charging me because i was desperate. Such nice people, great staff and great service. My original order went just fine. I returned to purchase stair trends. I was promised a delivery date and that date came and went. I had to initiate communication with the store vs them reaching out to me. Since I have that flooring in my home, I need to finish with that flooring, so I returned to the store to purchase the remaining flooring for the second story. I was told it would be delivered to their store on a date, but did not receive confirmation, via email, until after that date. Since I was unable to pick it up for a couple days, I returned to the store within a couple days of that confirmation to find out it was sold. My order, which I already paid for, was sold and they did not have any to give me. I can go on. You get what you pay for I guess. The flooring is reasonable but expect delays and poor communication. I made 3 orders with this company and 2 of the 3 had delivery issues coupled with poor communication. read more

I purchased LL flooring in 2012. It looked great and I thought it was a great value. I bought a product that SUPPOSEDLY had a significant warranty. I was told their laminate flooring was highly recommended for pets, kids, foot traffic, etc. So imagine my surprise 4 years later when I contact the store to use the warranty, still with all the original receipts and documentation... because I check on the home to find the floors in horrible shape and spread apart with gaps in it... and i'm told that labor from their outsourced vendor was only a year warranty, and that the product is discontinued and they don't carry it anymore; and besides, for scratches it's not covered. Look, the price was right at the time and the warranty sold me because it was supposed to cover the product. But it's not true. The flooring turned out to be of very poor quality even at a price that was standard for the type of product (not the cheapest quality nor the top of the line- somewhere in the middle)... turns out that NONE of it was true... their product and installation are NOT actually warranted the way it's represented and by the time you realize you need to use the warranty because the installation doesn't last nor does the product, you realize you've been had. Their brilliant idea: "Well take some out of the closets to replace in the main areas and put something else down in your closet floors". Sure, for a half million dollar home that's an acceptable solution for a crappy product. Look, take my advice, because I spent five figures on flooring with this company- go somewhere else, pay a little more, and get quality products that you know will be there when the time comes. Because low price isn't best value when you need to replace your floors again a few years later just from normal use. read more
