My laminate flooring that I purchased from LL Flooring less that 5 years ago, has been first peeling then popping up in my rather large living room. This has been happening for over a year now!!!! I googled the manufacturer, Corelux, and it says that basically the flooring is crap that will not last. Then, I see that LLFlooring is going out of business!!!!!! We were renovating our house because of Hurricane Ida. It was already a stress situation but LL FLOORING made the process super easy. The salesperson was really help and knowledgeable about the different floor types, they came to measure on time. The amount of material they said we needed was super accurate so we didn't spend extra money on unnecessary supplies. We had issues with other companies with getting supplies, so we had to reschedule our installation a couple times. LL FLOORING was so nice about it and would call us to see how we were progressing and to assure us they would be ready to help when we were ready. THAT'S PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Installation--MR. LARRY WAS AWESOME!!! He was on time everyday, worked quickly and left my home super clean when he was finished. He cared about the quality of my install and what the end result was going to be. He looked at each tile to make sure the wood grain patterns were laid correctly and inspect to make sure there were no imperfections in any of the tiles. He definitely eased my mind about questions I had and made me feel good about our investment. I would DEFINITELY recommend LL FLOORING to all my friends and family! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We bought our vinyl plank floors last year, in two stages. The installation was great; looked awesome. However, the floors started to buckle within 6 months. That's okay; products vary. The problem is their warranty procedure. We started the process in February; sent photos as they requested; they sent an installer. THEIR installer said all the floors are defective and need to be replaced. It's getting to be a tripping hazard. We've called dozens of times and been shuffled from one rep to the other. Now they want to send an independent third party to evaluate. It's been a frustrating, trying time, and they seem not to care one iota whether they honor their warranty or not. They were fast to cash the check; not so fast to honor their commitments. If they don't honor their warranty soon, we're calling a lawyer. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

AWESOME!! From the day I walked in the store to request an Estimator ( Paul Blackmon) until the floors were installed . I am so very pleased with the customer services from the Harahan Store . When there was a mistake made on my order , the store personnel called me to make the correction . I purchased more supplies than I needed , the refunds were effortlessly. This store may have been a good store at one time but today they are the worst in customer service, product quality and professional ethics. Over 2 months after paying for everything we still don't have the floor installed. When I called the store about this issue they acted as if I were the problem. They gave us 2 boxes of damaged flooring so check your boxes before you leave the store. They also did not give me all the supplies that I had paid for adding in 2 additional trips back to their store. I will never ever return to do business with these quacks again! read more

I had a leaky a/c that ruined the carpet in my bedroom so I figured why not upgrade with some new flooring. We settled on the Dream Home Boardwalk Oak. Lumber liquidators were right on time. I got the floors during a sale (a percentage off and free accessories). The sales associates made sure I got the right underpayment and moisture barriers to protect my investment. I didn't use them for installation, but they were pretty decent on price if you don't have someone to install them for you. I was so thrilled with the purchase I had the floors installed in the rest of the house. They look perfect with the new wall colors! read more

After extensively shopping around for new wood flooring, my sister recommended stopping into Lumber Liquidators. I'm glad I did because they were having a sale. I already knew what I wanted but was price shopping for the best deal. After looking here, I didn't have to go anywhere else. I got the best price for the type of flooring I wanted. They manufacture their own flooring, so there is no name brands in the store, it's all their own product, so I guess that's why their pricing is lower. I wasn't able to take the flooring home that day, (but I could have, it was available on site), but they held it up to a week to accommodate my contractor's schedule when he could pick it up. The only negative experience I had is that my contractor was not given the 2 rolls of floor padding when he arrived. When I immediately called about it, the salesgirl attempted to argue with me that he was lying about not receiving it. (We're talking $40 on an almost $1000 order). That seemed a bit ridiculous to argue over and she quickly retracted from the argument. A salesman named Matt offered up the replacement padding without a second thought and all was easily fixed. Overall it was a good experience, flooring looks very pretty and I'm a happy customer. read more

The store salespeople are the nicest folks ever, and very helpful. If you buy here, DO NOT USE THEIR INSTALLER. You don't want this to happen to you: the floor leveler, which l asked the installer to use sparingly, and didn't really want to begin with, was poured on my floor resulting in it pouring out of a light can in my livingroom ceiling onto my couch, end table, and floor. What a mess. After back and forth with corporate, who were very nice, I had to use the same installer or wait several days for someone else. When finished, couldn't open closet door. Had to call corporate again, came back 5 days later to cut bottom of door. I have now finished touching up the gouges on my walls where the boards hit when he was dragging them upstairs. I had hardwood installed, nail down. I got a very dark stain, to match existing, and the prefinish is rather thin. He installed two boards that were cracked in the middle, not the edges. They are under the bed, so.. anyway, stand forewarned and use an independent installer if you buy flooring here. read more

This store has been the worse of all the companies and people we've dealt with while making the move to our little retirement home on the Northshore. Beginning with wrong pricing, inaccurate estimates of when and how long installation would take, many difficulties with installation and follow up after the very poor installation job, we are left with repairs we have to make with regard to the pitiful installation job. This is by far the worse company I have ever dealt with in my 50 years setting up a house. How I wish we had used Lowe's or HomeDepot! read more

I had a really good experience with Lumber Liquidators in the Elmwood shopping area. The staff helped me through the whole process of planning a flooring project, selecting appropriate flooring materials, dealing with the purchase and pickup of the materials, and even refunding my money for the extra quantity of unopened materials that I didn't actually use in the project. They gave me useful advice, and they didn't try to push me toward selecting a more expensive product--they actually pointed me to a less expensive product that had specific features that were more suitable for my particular needs. The store had a better selection of product options than other stores I visited, and I was able to see many options and even get free samples to take home to see how they looked in the area that I wanted to install the flooring. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I would certainly plan to deal with them again if I ever need to do another flooring project. read more

Went to the store on clearview at 8:30, and it was closed. The time on the door and on the internet says 8am. There were several people waiting, some who had traveled from the west bank. I left slightly before 9. I called the 800 number and that was useless. read more

The warranty is a lie. Once you put the floor down the warranty doesn't exist. They don't stand behind their word. I installed the floor after buying it from them, the management wouldn't sell me the 2-step glue system and guaranteed the glue he has in the store is 1 step glue and will do the job. 2 weeks later after doing the floor, it's buckling up. read more

I have been trying to get 2 t moldings and 1 qtr round since mid April after 2 phone calls to the store to verify the items were in stock for which the store was always to busy to check and they never returned the calls they said they were going to we decided to order the items online on April 25 and pay the freight so we would not have to deal with this store. So where did our order refer to, the same store that was to busy to help us. On May 5 I called to check my order and was told it would ship that day. On May 12 I called again to check my order and told it would be delivered that day. After not receiving the order I called again on May 13 only to be told my order never left the store yet. This is ridiculous that I chose to pay freight only to have to deal with the same store that cant seem to do their job! read more
