Very nice temporary employment agency. Ginger is excellent. They post work on their website, too, so check that out. Please keep in mind that they cannot find you something overnight. Absolutely mediocre. Staffing agent Rachel, could care less about helping. I had been with them for months, checking in every week, but had NEVER received a call with an assignment. The one time I did hear from her(after MONTHS of nothing), was to offer a position that I had stated specifically, from the beginning, I did not want. My experience with L.K. Jordan is nothing but the best. I've been with many different agencies in the past in example: Pridestaff, Kelly Services, Aerotek, and Express Personal. L.K. Jordan staffs has exceeded all of my expectations and more with their professional skills and quick service. They had helped me find interviews and a job in my past experience. I had met with them over 2 years ago, I call and call, never had any work. Then I called recently and they said that I did not show up for an appointment. What a lie, since I was never placed for anything, how could I have not showed up? Save your self the trouble, go elsewhere for work. read more

Yoany is very unprofessional. When I last spoke with her, she set me up with an interview for a company. I went to the interview and spoke to the manager there and left after they told me that they would be in contact. Later that day, I received a job offer from a company I interviewed with earlier that week but it wouldn't start for a week. When the place Yoany sent me to called offering me the position, I kindly told them that I couldn't accept due to having already accepted a permanent position which starts next week. I felt it would reflect better for me and LK Jordan to decline the offer rather than work there for a week and leave. I called Yoany and told her about me declining the position and thought that was the end of it. Unfortunately, the permanent position didn't last long since the company was looking like it was going bankrupt and everyone was jumping ship.. I called LK Jordan to see if they can assist me with finding a position only to be told that Yoany has placed on the "DO NOT WORK WITH" list. She is a vindictive individual who stabs people in the back just because she didn't meet her quota of positions filled. If you are needing employment, I strongly suggest Evins Personnel or Randstad. At least at those places, the people genuinely want to help you rather than just wanting to fill the numbers read more

HORRIBLE. Yoany called to fire me in the emergency room having had a stroke at work. Yes, I know it was the company for whom I was doing the work who made that choice to let me go, however Yoany actually called my phone while I was being treated following a Stroke! In addition, I cannot get my W2 to file my taxes. I called in too late with a change of address. I did give additional email addresses. Nothing. They are very rude and do not want to assist. read more

Yoany is the most unprofessional staffing agent I have ever corresponded with. She was the main contact for finding work and would send emails with run-on/incomplete sentences (obviously working fast & not reviewing what she wrote before sending), call me saying, "Hey it's Yoany," which I guess works because I don't know anyone else by that name, but I would have preferred, "Hi, this is Yoany at LK Jordan..." They are not all bad, considering. They provide insurance options, and were helpful when my pay stubs were not being mailed to me & when my insurance began but someone had dropped the ball on the Ins side showing that my coverage was not in place. I was happy to get pt work here and there thru LK Jordan and they did a good job placing me at positions that were a good fit for me. I am pleased to have a full-time job now which I would have never found without going thru this agency; but during my temp-to-hire time I never received correspondence from the agency asking how it was going, nor did they contact my boss to see how he felt about having me in the office, etc. In my past experience with staffing agencies, they would follow up with me at least every couple weeks to relay any concerns or good reports I might have regarding the work/office/co-workers. I thought it was funny that I received an email, "Happy Administrative Assistant Day" from Ajilon staffing who I worked with about 4 or 5 years ago & was placed at a job; but I didn't get anything from LK Jordan. I was also surprised that I never got a congratulations email or card or something from LK Jordan after being placed at this job permanently. It seems they are happy to sit back and make money while not providing any services during the 3.5 months I was on temp status at this job. My last complaint- and this is important for employers and employees: I called in after a couple months to find out how many more hours I needed to work until my temp-to-hire status could become permanent. Yoany told me I had X amount of hours to reach the 720 mark which would end my temp stint. Less than a month later my boss wanted to get me on permanently and sent a request for the penalty amount they would have to pay in order to take me before my temp contract was done. The next day I get a call from Yoany saying we had a special contract where I only needed to be temp for 500-some-odd hours and that I had the ability to become a permanent employee 2 weeks prior! When I asked why she quoted me the wrong hours previously and never brought up that my temp time was fulfilled, she just said, "I thought you would be happy... we don't contact the employers, it is up to them to tell us when they are ready to bring the employee on full time permanently." So there you have it. The end result is a good one, but in my experience as a professional, I felt that LK Jordan lacks professionalism expected from a staffing agency. read more
