Not super sure about this temp agency. This is my first time looking in to employment agencies…read more They seem really nice and I haven't gone in to fill out an application or go in for an interview yet but I spoke with a woman over the phone and asked if they have any entry level positions like admin jobs or something of that nature and what she said was that they are lacking in the job department right now and that they didn't have any entry level jobs if any jobs at all. Doesn't sound too good for an employment agency considering that is their area of business but once again, I haven't gone in yet so I suppose we will see. The next employment agency I called was very efficient and very helpful so just from the first impression over the phone I already wouldn't necessarily recommend this one to a friend.

I started working with them in the summer of 2005, and after a year and a half I left my job and therefore my ties with Career Consultants. Two years later, I was rehired at my job, and they again wanted me to go through Career Consultants. I called them up, and Megan, their receptionist, REMEMBERED me! She remembered my name, the last time I worked for my company, the fact that I had been going to school. It was a crazy, I couldn't believe it, even though I had rarely called or interacted with them since they weren't seeking employment for me. Though I can't really speak for their services as far as getting me other jobs, I think that the one person I have always interacted with has been top notch, accommodating, nice, and attentive, and that goes a long way in making a great company. I'm always paid on time, and when I don't submit my time cards on time, though I expect to have delays in getting my pay check which would be my fault, surprisingly I never have. I think their website needs restructuring, and access to documents should be easier, which is why I'm only giving them four stars. Thanks Megan and Career Consultants!

I have been a satisfied customer of this firm for years. However, everything changed this year when…read morethe accountant I had been working with passed away, and I was passed off to an incompetent accountant. Only when I found a huge mistake that accountant was in the process of making was I passed off again to one of their partners. The partner was rude, condescending, and arrogant. Frankly, I would tolerate her attitude if she was any good, but she's not. Her skill level is average--if that. Our return is simple. Yet, it baffled the staff accountant. The partner was overwhelmed and took her frustration out on me, complaining of having "782 returns to complete and not having had a vacation". Too bad, hire more staff, and get the returns done correctly and on time. Don't complain to me. I would not recommend this firm for several reasons. First, I wouldn't trust the competency of the staff. Second, I wouldn't assume your taxes were even being done, much less on time. Finally, their accounting staff will likely treat you disrespectfully and condescendingly.
