I didn't realize until last week that they had a brick and mortar store. They made a post about some items for the Magic City Classic being available for pickup in store. I hopped in my car and drove right over. When I arrived, I was greeted and helped. After talking with one of the employees and her showing me some options, I was able to have two items (a polo and cardigan) created same day. The quality was amazing and for a same day turnaround, the pricing was fair. I paid $121 for my items. They have a variety of designs so if you need something custom for a high school, HBCU, fraternity/sorority and more, check them out!

The assistant manager immediately warmly greeted us and gave us some direction in regards to the different sections of the store. She also gave us a card that is stamped each time you make a purchase. After ten stamps, you get $50 off your purchase. As we walked through the store, we saw many interesting items, from furniture to jewelry to real fur coats. There was an African section and we knew right away that we'd be purchasing something from this section. We decided on an African djembe that was the painted with bright colors. It's going to look great in our living room. At check out, they request to see your driver's license if you're paying with a card, which is something I like. Ordered a UT Austin cake topper, design was easy to do. Got the shipment in time, but got the wrong order. I got some rugrats order for someone in another state. Calls went to a full voicemail, emails went unanswered, and the chat function never worked. Ended up getting a local bakery to do it for us. Also, it would cost more to send it back than the refund, so just lost money on this deal. Buyer beware.

I had been ordering wigs online for a while, but I wanted a change -- especially when you're investing in real hair, you really need to see it in person and try it on before spending that kind of money. I had looked at a few other stores before, but hadn't had any luck. Beauty and Beyond wasn't far from me, so I decided to give it a try. Right away, I was impressed -- the store is huge, incredibly clean, and has an amazing assortment of lace wigs. I'll be honest, I was hoping to work with a woman, but then Khalifa stepped in to help me, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. He was so patient and kind -- he told me to take my time, and when I asked how many wigs I could try on, he said three. He never made me feel rushed or pressured, not even for a single moment. I selected three to try, and honestly? The very first one was perfect. I tried all three just to be sure, but the first one was the one. Khalifa was genuine in his feedback -- when he said it looked great, it felt real, not like a sales pitch. While I was there, another customer came in who had purchased from the store before and was back for more -- she said her hair always gets compliments. That meant a lot to hear! The wig I purchased was 100% Remy human hair, and yes, it was an investment -- but absolutely worth every penny. That same evening I wore my new hair to a birthday party and got so many compliments! I figured a shampooer is like a vacuum so I called another place and they said they don't fix them. I called Bessemer Sew and Vacuum Center and spoke to the owner who said he doesn't typically fix them but if he can get the parts, he will see what he can do. I dropped it off the next day and less than 24 hours later, he called to say it was fixed!! He actually didn't even need parts so I just paid for his time. I was super happy. The owner is great, really nice, cares about helping you, and won't charge if he can't fix it. He even carried it out to my car. Highly recommend!
