While I applaud Winn Dixie for updating their local stores and bringing in more goods, there are…read morealways a couple of things that could use more attention. A recent visit demonstrated two of those. The first was, when ordering sliced deli meat in store, the counter person put the print out label on the bag so that it covered the zippered opening. When I got home and tried to open it, I couldn't remove the label and the bag tore. No big deal except they use a bag size other than consumer purchased Ziploc bags. The second was when I was checking out. There was a person, bagging, groceries and, even though I had grouped my items as I would like them bagged (cold items, dry goods, fragile) the person, bagging the groceries, threw them in the bag with no regard for what their condition might be when I got home. Lastly, I tried several times to call the store about these things, however, no one at this particular store location seems to understand how to answer a phone. Each time I called, and there were several calls, the selection for customer, service, or a store manager went unanswered. I typically shop another Winn Dixie location, which I have never had these kinds of problems with. I will make a point of avoiding Orange Grove Winn Dixie.

The lady literally told us she was busy. Well. Needless to say. Walked out and went somewhere else. I spend my money where there is good customer service.

It's your typical budget-friendly grocery store with all the usual stuff... deli counter, bakery, the works. I was just passing through town and needed something quick to eat, so I grabbed some fried chicken and St. Louis ribs from the deli. The ribs were okay, nothing amazing, but hey, it's not like I was expecting barbecue joint quality from a grocery store, you know? The chicken was alright too, though I'll be honest... when I had the leftovers the next day, they were pretty meh. Still edible, but definitely better fresh. Overall, it's a solid option if you need groceries or a quick meal and you're not expecting anything fancy. Does the job!

He went to where the product was normally stocked and it was sold out. He could have said "sorry it is sold out". But he looked up and said there might be one on top of the shelves. He went and got a latter and found what I was looking for and handed me the last one of this items in the store. What a great employee Jamey is.

This store has changed its name to froogels now but nothing changed except for the name…read more Considering how their meal department is I don't know how this store has stayed afloat because the meat department is usually the backbone of a store. Even last week I had to point out a whole row of green chicken wings in the meat case. That's not food coloring that's rotten. How could you not see it? I've seen meat with tumors in their meat case. Why would you even put that out? I've seen numerous packages of meat with way too much fat and or green fat and bones in the meat case. Again why would you tray it up let alone put in the meat case? The one time I asked for 1 lb each of ground chuck and ground pork to make egg rolls with I ended up getting almost 2 lbs of each. That's not what I asked for. So I usually go to food giant if I want quality meat or the commissary. If I could give zero stars I would. On the plus side the cashiers are super nice and will gladly point you in the right direction if you need anything.
