I interviewed several companies, Anderson, Pella and more. Upon meeting John, one of the owners, I immediately felt conformable. There was no high pressure, never ending talking like the other companies did. He took me through product choices, the various price points and made great suggestions! The unique thing with this company, they are working with the best window companies in the business. Anderson, Bella, Harvey, others. They have access to all those lines. I found that refreshing. I selected Harvey Windows, top vinyl line, based on John's suggestion and the price point. Deposit given, order was placed. Withing 6 weeks , I received notice the windows are ready for install and we booked an install, a few weeks out. The install was Thurs ( 1/24/24) The installers were great. They arrived exactly on time, Spoke well, understandable and polite. They first spent time lining the home with drop cloth , covering near by furnture with plastic. It made me comfortable that they respected my property. Then, the removal of the old windows. Very little noise and very little dust or debris. After that came the install of the windows. It was seamless, everything fit perfectly. Then, the trim work and finish trim. This is where I feel high quality carpenters are needed for a good install The team at Window Solution Plus, has great carpentry skills. The trim work both inside and outside look terrific. Spot on. The next stage was cleanup. It wasn't a 15 minute rush job. Instead, it was a well executed professional job, lasting over 1 hour. Vacuuming, dusting inside. Actually washing certain areas of the floor. Then the coup de grace, they go around the property near the outside of windows and pick-up debris by hand, then vacuum. When they leave , the inside and outside is perfect. Like they were never in my home My wife and I couldn't be more happy with our windows and this company I will hire them again in the near future and highly recommend you do the same. End of day we find the screen doors are missing. No one bothered to tell us. But they were very quick to put the charge through even before the installers arrived saying they charge when the truck is loaded. Obviously not based on whether the "loading" includes what is scheduled for that day. Installer told us they must be back ordered and wanted us to sign that the project was complete. We refused. What a nightmare. So many phone calls to get a response and info on when the project would be completed. Turns out there was a project manager assigned who never ever bothered to call. The sales person didn't return my calls until I emailed that I felt defrauded. I ended up calling HQ in MN and after several redirections managed to get a number for corporate complaints . I was told some senior person would call. No one did. Eventually got it all done requiring multiple emails and phone calls and having to deal with staff pointing fingers at each other. Then the calls started pushing to rate our experience a 9 or 10. So many calls from people who never bothered to inform us of the missing items or return calls when there was a problem. We were also having problems with moisture between the panes of windows installed two years ago. Family members said not to complain that they'd blow us off. But when they wanted a good rating I did complain and sent pics. Why do these companies hire people who have no skills to interact with customers? Some guy called Nick from NJ calls and talks down to me telling that moisture on the outside of the panes can be wiped off. Why would I call them if the moisture was on the outside of the panes? Just wasted my time. Have to say though that products are good (so far) which offsets to some extent the other poor experiences hence the rating is not lower. We had gone back to RBA because the first time the project went smoothly. Perhaps it was because it was organized by the HOA and many individual home owners had signed up. This is a repost of an earlier review as Yelp decided to remove saying it was for the wrong location, I.e. NJ. Our project was handled by the Westchester/ CT location.

My breakfast room window, which is next to the fire escape, has been broken since the day I moved into the apartment. The super tried to fix it over the 6 years that I've lived here; however, it remained broken and dangerous. Fortunately, Altin and Egli, who are employed by A&J, came today and fixed my window. They even went throughout the apartment, checking all of the other windows to make sure there were no other issues. Altin and Egli were kind, respectful, professional and efficient. Their boss, Reggie, who owns A&J called to check to make sure I was satisfied. A&J Window Repair is EXCELLENT. A must for anyone who has window repair issues. Dr. Ramona Brockett

In this case, I gave far too much. **5/9/26: UPDATE - SEE SCREENSHOT OF ILONA GUMENYUK'S 5/8/26 EMAIL CONFIRMING REGGIE ARRIVING TO DISTRIBUTE REFUNDS AND REPLACE MY SCREENS -- NONE OF WHICH HAPPENED. AND NOT A WORD FROM ANYONE.** I hired Reggie Villa / A&J Window and Glass to create custom window screens and a balcony screen solution for my apartment. Based on my recommendation, two neighbors also hired him and paid deposits as well. What followed was weeks of missed appointments, repeated promises to "check with the factory and call me back within the hour," long stretches of no communication, repeated promises that things would be ready "next week," and eventually requests for refunds that never materialized. As delays continued, Ilona Gumenyuk repeatedly communicated on the company's behalf regarding scheduling, refunds, and assurances that replacement materials and payments were forthcoming. When Reggie finally arrived to install my window screens, he showed up hours late with screens that were several inches too short and did not fit properly (see photo). Instead of acknowledging the issue, he attempted to explain the large visible gaps as intentional. One screen had to literally be hammered into place. Even after this, I still allowed myself to believe repeated assurances that properly fitted replacement screens and refunds were finally coming. They weren't. Since then, the two neighbors I referred have filed complaints with the Office of the New York State Attorney General Consumer Frauds Bureau, the Better Business Bureau, and local law enforcement. It is also worth noting that the company's Google Business Profile now appears as "Permanently Closed," despite the company continuing to communicate with customers and schedule supposed future work. As a result, customers can no longer post new Google reviews. I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to read the prior detailed negative reviews carefully. I wish I had.
