    Collapsed table legs

    Do NOT purchase furniture from Living Spaces! I can not stress this enough. I have had issues with each order I've made with them, including poor customer care, delivery errors, and inaccurate information, but the latest incident is the most egregious. I moved across the country a few years ago and needed to furnish an entire apartment. I was relieved to find Living Spaces as a reasonably priced furniture manufacturer. I purchased a dining table and chairs in September 2022. It is now March 2026, just 3.5 years later, and the table literally fell apart while I was sitting at it, presenting on a work call. I live alone, have no kids or pets, and am the only person who regularly sits at this table. This is in no way normal wear and tear. It is a structural failure of load-bearing parts that occurred during ordinary use, indicating a defect in materials and/or workmanship. It is not a reasonable product outcome for a dining table to collapse after just three years. It also created a safety hazard, exposing nails and rough wood, plus the danger of a heavy glass table top falling on my lap after its support structure collapsed. I reached out to Living Spaces to resolve this dispute directly, including going to my local showroom in-person with the defective table stand, which now sits in three separate, broken pieces. Each person I spoke to repeated the same scripted line, "There is nothing we can do." I was told the product is past its one-year warranty, and I should have purchased the extended five-year warranty if I expected a repair or replacement should it suddenly collapse on top of me. I would understand if I did something to the table, or there was normal wear and tear, but this was a clear manufacturing issue, and Living Spaces refuses to accept accountability for their poor quality. Another customer in the store asked if I was okay, which was nice to hear, as not a single one of the at least three people I spoke to extended even that small courtesy to me. I have never experienced anything like this, even with cheap IKEA or other Big Box Store pieces. I have a cheap dresser that has lasted over a decade and 3 moves, including one cross-country, but this stationary table that has never been moved from its original position crumbled, on top of me, after three years of simply existing. And the best solution I was offered was being told it's my fault I didn't pay them extra for them to help me when that happened. We are at the point where companies are mad they have to actually go through us consumers to get our money. Living Spaces is exactly that type of brand. Do NOT purchase furniture from these people. They are only interested in taking your money in exchange for something resembling furniture.

    Terrible service. The two delivery men were extremely rude and unhelpful. They refused to place the sofa in the logical direction facing the TV and wouldn't even move a small bench that was in their way, saying it wasn't their job. As a woman alone at home, I was left unable to move the furniture myself. I paid for delivery and got the worst service imaginable. Absolutely disrespectful and unacceptable

    Is this what craftsmanship of a made to order CUSTOM MADE worth $4000 couch looks like? I know it's just the bottom cover but damn that's horrible. I can do a better job than this!! Would not recommend you to buy anything here!! No RETURN and EXCHANGE for CUSTOM MADE!!!People who works here don't know what they're talking about their products!! Photos is just one chaise, all of the staples of the 3 piece couch are all the same. What kind of Quality Measures does this company do??

    Who moves couches vertically?

    AVOID LIVING SPACES - hidden fees & poor service I normally don't leave bad reviews, but my recent LivingSpaces experience deserves a warning label for anyone considering a large purchase. What I bought LodgeMoss Sectional - LAF sofa (SKU366711) + RAF oversized chaise (SKU366713) Placed with sales associate DaniloSkeen. Total paid: $2,451.82 (furniture $2,195+tax+$39 delivery) No piece‑by‑piece dimensions were provided on the invoice or in‑store. No disclosure of the "if it doesn't fit, you owe 25%" rule. Mr.Skeen assured me it would fit our stairwell and never mentioned any penalty. The main invoice page shows price, tax, and delivery,but no restocking for no-fit language at all. The 25% fee lurks in 6‑point type on page2 of the Terms & Conditions (given after payment).one and a half Without individual dimensions--or an offered home measurement service--I had no way to know if the pieces would navigate the stairs. Delivery fiasco (captured on video) The crew brought both pieces through the front door and up one and a half flights. The landing where they stopped has identical dimensions to the ground‑floor doorway they'd just cleared and to my apartment door above. They refused to remove the feet, adjust the angle, or make a second attempt; they simply quit and declared, "It won't fit." Their next sentence: "You'll be charged a 25% restocking fee." That's ±$550 for a problem they were paid to solve. I filmed the entire attempt. The video plainly shows consistent doorway widths and a hallway long enough to pivot--proof that the crew chose convenience over effort. They provided me with an image that, according to them, proves the couch did not fit in the hallways. I attached the image to this review so you can see it yourself. It just further substantiates my claim that the couch does, in fact, fit within the stairwell. As shown, the couch is already positioned vertically on the second step. If properly maneuvered -- starting from the base of the stairs and moved diagonally -- the couch fits without issue. This is precisely the method used to bring it from the ground floor to the first floor, and there is no justifiable reason why the same technique could not have been applied to reach the second floor. Who moves couches vertically?

    Middle console isn't solid anymore the thin wood broke

    Don't ever purchase furniture with living spaces. I purchased a couch and loveseat. Spent around 3,500. I also purchased the care free warranty to cover for accidental damage. Ive had two accidents and not one of them was covered because they said it was normal wear and tear. Broken wood from an accident isn't normal wear and tear and ripped fabric isn't normal wear and tear. Furniture is made cheaply. I regret giving them my business and will let anyone considering to avoid their business. I went to the store and they even said I should've been covered but it's nothing they can do because it's the warranty company. They won't even refund me the money for the warranty. I've spent my own money to fix the middle console. And I'm going to spend my own money again to fix the ripped fabric. The fix cost less than the warranty itself

BUT, no piping on cushions, no rubber grip material on bottom of cushions. Both were agreed upon in the contract. He did not return two couch pillows that were supposed to be restuffed. Also, four yards of material appears to be more than enough to make the cushions. We paid $1200 for 8 yards of fabric. We finally got three yards of fabric returned to us. My wife will never use Alex or Sugars Upholstery again because Alex was very hard to get ahold of. Also, he said he could have his expert sew a couple buttons back onto a leather couch. One button was sewn back out of place and the other button he couldn't sew on after pulling it completely off.

She shared a lot of smart ideas for dealing with our challenging closet spaces and was both knowledgeable and creative. Chelsea was also very respectful of our home and easy to talk to. We enjoyed our consultation and would definitely consider working with her on future projects that are a better fit. Her prices are a great value. After downsizing a few years ago to a much smaller house closer to the ocean, we worked on major remodeling projects with contractors, architects, and engineers. We were seeking an interior decorator to help us post-construction with the choice of layout, furniture, drapes, decor, and the curating of our global artifact collection without insisting on major structural changes. Chelsea was perfect for this challenge! The major difference was her ability to work with our conservative yet coastal "wannabee" aesthetic and meet our desire to create a multi-purpose room. We had a hodgepodge of furniture and global artifacts from living abroad and traveling and we were very stubborn about giving up on our own ideas. We were very hands on in researching options and that could have been an impediment to any other decorator. We were open to being coached and educated. Chelsea showed us 3D renderings at the beginning of the process to help us visualize her ideas and gave us options regarding colors and price points. The process was iterative and complex for just one long room. We started with a virtual consultation contract which worked well. When we saw how she could make a difference we quickly changed to an in-person contract. What a delightful and patient consultant, Chelsea is! And her professionalism regarding appointments, Zoom calls, input, choices, options, ordering, invoices, and setting boundaries, while remaining attentive, was very appreciated. We could say more, but let me leave these words in closing: we are excited to recommend Chelsea Harrison Designs and look forward to working with her in the future.
