This time my cat wasn't feeling well and they actually were able to get me in for an appointment the next day. The space is pleasant in the waiting room. The exam room we went to was by a big window and my cat isn't really a window loitering type, but the bird feeder outside with lots of birds were of interest. Lol Both the vet tech and the vet were great. At my request, they even did all the tests in the exam room. They offered a game plan and weren't pressuring me to do more extensive tests. I'll definitely be back when I need my cats to get examined. I feel comfortable taking them to Zippivet for their vet care.

I was nervous and unsure of what to expect but the staff were all extremely welcoming and nice, and informed me of everything they were doing and confirmed with me before doing any tests. My only dissatisfaction is upon informing me my cat has gingivitis, the only solution they offered was a $1400 surgical procedure. I was not informed of any alternative treatments, or any measures I can take that could help my cat other than an major surgery. Other than that, they were all amazing and kind. Would recommend and will be going back!! :)

Was bringing in my cats for a weigh and medication, unfortunately my kitty poo'd himself and it got into his fur just before arriving. I asked for some supplies to clean him up with (I didn't ask them to clean him for me just like a dab of shampoo and a spray bottle or something to clean it up) and after some begging they gave me 5 sheets of paper towel... Mind you I wasn't just coming off the street I had been with them for 2 years, called ahead and paid over $200 for medicine today. If you know anything about cats they are absolute clean freaks and already stressed out enough being outside of the house and these people couldn't care in the slightest that he's covered in his own filth. Then they had the audacity to say well if you had an exam appointment we'd be happy to clean him up for you! Real good that does me plus I wasn't even asking them to clean him up I had zero problem doing it myself. If that doesn't scream "I don't care about your animals" then I don't know what does. Front office has always been rude and demeaning but the saving grace has always been that the actual vet was nice and knowledgeable. Not looking forward to vet shopping but I'll be damned if I ever go back here.

It feels really amazing when I come in and see how well the slings I've dropped off are kept and grow. A lot of stores prioritize the spider being visible over the spider's needs, but when you look around the shop, it's obvious Gecko World puts the welfare of the animals first. I don't even keep feeder colonies at home anymore - not when Gecko World is so close and has all the feeders I need to feed my spider horde. If you ever get the chance to peak into the back room, all of the feeders - from mice and rats, to superworms and dubia roaches - they are all kept and fed immaculately. Marcos is also super knowledgable, especially when it comes to cresties, and has been around. But, I do tell people not to come to this office, and it's only fair I note why. I brought my dog in for chronic diarrhea. They gave me medication for him and did not test him further, even though he was an older dog. In the few months following, he was still getting bouts of diarrhea. I brought him in on a Friday afternoon. They took SIX x-rays of my dog. They told me that they could see some mild swelling, but weren't sure what it was. They told me I would need to book with their specialist on Monday. That evening, they called me and let me know that they were PRETTY sure my dog did not have cancer and that he would be okay to wait out Monday's appointment. The next day, my dog is acting strange but with reassurance from the vet-- I didn't trust my gut. That night, be projectile diarrheas blood all over the balcony. I rush him to an emergency vet. I get told my dog is riddled with cancer and that they're doing everything they can to keep him comfortable. They tell me I will have to learn how to IV him for his comfort. But, they soon realize that the masses on his kidneys had ruptured and the fluid had reached his lungs. $7k later, I lost my soul dog. I can't help but think that if Republic was more urgent or recommended me to go to an emergency vet Friday afternoon, I would've been able to have at least a few more months with him. For this, I can never forgive this practice or recommend them to anyone.

We switched from another groomer who took forever to check him out because their operations were too large and disorganized. The last time I took him to Anna's in February the price was significantly cheaper. The cut wasn't as good but also he had to be shaved cause his hair was all matted. Not the groomer's fault. I tried to book another appointment and I asked the woman why the price difference. She looked at his profile and said it's 25 lbs dog. I said "my dog is 17 lbs, so was I changed the wrong amount all those other times?" She offered to have the owner call me. Owner never called. I called back a day later to cancel the appointment that I booked because our dog didn't quite need it yet but I still wanted to chat with the owner. I explained the situation and I got such inconsistent messaging. She first told me some groomers charge by weight but they do not. I told her I wasn't the one who brought up weight and correlation to price, the person working for her did. She then said the groomer usually makes a judgement on what price and she allows them to charge what they want. Then towards the end she said most of them charge the prices she sets. She explained that the last woman I had was an apprentice and new so she charged a lower price to begin with but by the end of her 5 month rotation, she charged about the same as the rest of groomers. The entire convo was really awkward and circular. I think I'll be finding a new place after that experience.
