I've been coming with all my fur babies for a while and always have a good experience. It's right by Seton and Walmart for location wise, it's next to where you go anyway. This time my cat wasn't feeling well and they actually were able to get me in for an appointment the next day. The space is pleasant in the waiting room. The exam room we went to was by a big window and my cat isn't really a window loitering type, but the bird feeder outside with lots of birds were of interest. Lol Both the vet tech and the vet were great. At my request, they even did all the tests in the exam room. They offered a game plan and weren't pressuring me to do more extensive tests. I'll definitely be back when I need my cats to get examined. I feel comfortable taking them to Zippivet for their vet care. read more

I received a call today from Liz who is the receptionist at Zippivet and she was just following up on Bruno to see how he was doing. I did tell her my concerns and frustration with the bill. She transferred me to Jen who is the manager. I explained that I was not quoted for an ear cleaning and I was told it was a demonstration of how to use the product that they had just sold me. Jen was very thorough. She explained the method to their madness and she also confirmed that I should have been told that they were doing an ear cleaning so she did refund me for the ear cleaning. After speaking to the manager I feel like they are reasonable and will hear your concerns and make adjustments as they see fit. I learned a lot today and I appreciate the service that was provided. I'll give them another opportunity to win my business. I think it was just a misunderstanding and I'm happy to know that it was resolved with little effort. read more

I have been taking my two fur babies to ZippiVet locations around Austin for the past 4 years and have never had a bad experience. I have been going to this location in Kyle for the past year and a half and can say with confidence that their quality of care is exceptional, their staff is informative and warm, and that they have always been transparent with me. I have used the patient portal for scheduling but also have had success with getting last minute appointments scheduled when you call over the phone. They are very accommodating and understanding. I learn something new and helpful each time I visit. I appreciate that the staff takes the time to educate me and answer all of my questions. I can't recommend ZippiVet Kyle enough! read more

I will forever be so grateful for the kind and loving souls at Zippivet Kyle! We had a previous vet my family went to for years. Every decision with our pets we were judged, scolded, and had a very traumatic experience there. They told me my dog was a bad dog. They said he was aggressive and needed a muzzle. We had never seen ANY negative behavior from him. They never let us in the office. I was TERRIFIED of vet offices. I felt like me and my dogs were not safe in vet care. Then... I tried Zippivet. They allow us to come in with our dogs. They remember our dogs and seem to truly love and care for them. They are always willing to work with us financial wise and find the cheapest treatment. My husky LOVES this office. He's so happy here and loves giving all the employees hugs and kisses and they are all so sweet and take awesome care of him. He didn't even notice any of the vaccines they gave him!! He is his usual calm, playful self here. They have helped our picky underweight dog become a healthy strong boy. I cannot say enough positive things about this place. I zippivet and so does Drax the destroyer . If you are in the area and have pets I 10000000% recommend you trust these amazing people with your animals. They are in good hands here. Every employee is smiling and seems to truly love their job and all the animals. I first took our Poodle to ZippiVet earlier this year when her ears got infected. The vet we'd been going to for 2.5 years wouldn't "fit her in". At ZippiVet all of the staff were so friendly with her and I, and one of the vet techs even volunteered extra care by doing some specialty poodle ear-care for me! They followed up afterwards to be sure she got better! Then last month our cat accidentally got outside and was attacked by feral cats, he was in really rough shape! ZippiVets staff took wonderful care of him in a series of 8 visits over 2 weeks. They knew him by name, made followup calls after his visits to check on his progress or continuing needs. They are always so nice here. I take my cats in and they always handle them with care. It's a lot less expensive that I always think it's going to be. It's usually easy to get an appointment, sometimes same day though it's been harder with the pandemic, I guess with everyone home they have more time. I had a whole ordeal with my oldest cat that had cancer, they took really good care of him. Unfortunately he didn't make it but I think they helped him when he needed it. My other cats have been and though they hate being at the vet I know they are gentle with them and take good care of them. Never had any issues and the vets and nurses (?) have all been super friendly and nice! read more

Took my kitty here after he was throwing up. The people who helped us were super nice and caring. They heard out all of our concerns and gave us a lot of good feedback. Although if you are not in the best financial situation and may not be able to afford top of the line for your animal they will guilt you! Be prepared to be guilted if you don't go with their #1 hella expensive route they suggest instead of a potentially off brand or cheaper route in attempt to solve any issues you may be dealing with. But i do have healthy animals they did suggest that vaccines could be done elsewhere as well. But just felt a little talked down to overall. read more

Zippivet at Kyle is amazing! Great team and welcoming office!! I was super nervous about taking my puppy to get spayed and had moved all the way to San Antonio. I searched and looked around the new city I moved to and couldn't find the right one. My puppy, Luna has gone to Kyle Zippivet since we got her about a year ago and Camille has made an impression on her since!! I couldn't even think of another vet even though it's almost an hour away from where we live and took her again to Zippivet to get spayed. I take all three of my dogs to Zippi Vet for their vaccinations and wellness checks. What was going to cost me $169 at one vet for two vaccinations only cost $66 at Zippi Vet They are always friendly, responsive, and affordable. My main critique is that even though we are still dealing with COVID-19, we are now in Phase 3 of re-opening Texas and they still won't let the owners go in with their pets. One of my dogs, who was 5 years old when I got him, is afraid of new people. It would have been much better if I could have gone in with him. read more

We had the most incredible experience at ZippiVet in Kyle. From when we first entered, the receptionist was warm and sweet to our dogs. We met with Dr. Person and the vet tech Rachel. They were extremely informative, kind, caring, and they answered all of our questions. We did not feel rushed at all to ask our questions and could tell they genuinely cared. Both Rachel and Dr. Person took the time to explain all of the possible options for care for both of our dogs. The prices were very fair and they checked with us on the price before moving forward with anything. Long overdue review.. Sadly we had to say goodbye to our dog Magnus, when we finally had to take the next step everyone was great! Asked how many of us would be there when Magnus crossed over and they were so accommodating, even said there are treats to give Magnus ( and yes he ate half the box) they just laughed. He went with all 3 of us kissing him and both the Dr and Matt were great let us take our time, tears were shed and tissues were passed out.. They were all sad to see Magnus go he was a kind & gentle dog so he was easy to love.. We even got a card with all of them signing it was a heartfelt note.. when it's time to get another pet this will be place we will become regulars at.. Had a last minute appt to get a quick vaccine- it was my first time at this office and I'm always a little nervous since my dog has some leash aggression. As soon as I walked in they took us to our room, had an amazing chat and initial evaluation with Camille- she was seriously amazing. Made the whole experience great. I have always been a dog lover and finally got my first in November 2020 - an extremely high energy/FOMO black male lab puppy. I am a single fur mom - so since I got him - he has not been around a lot of people/pets (Covid). So - when I have had to take him to ZippiVet over the past year+ (vaccines, neuter, digestive treatment, etc.) - he has always been overly excited and a handful to deal with (even on anti-anxiety meds!). All of the staff have been so patient and kind with my pup - and with me. I called in at 7:45am for my dog who was having a bad rash on her stomach with an allergic reaction. They were able to get me in to see a doctor by 9:30am. As soon as we arrived we were greeted and taken care of. They were absolutely amazing with my dog and let her warm up to them before even approaching her. She felt very comfortable and allowed the examination to happen. I was informed every step of the way how much things were going to cost before they were done so I was able to opt out of them if need be. As everyone else said Camille was fantastic! She took the time to explain everything and really make sure my animal was getting the best care. This is somewhere I will continue to go back to and make my vet while in Kyle. Went looking for a new vet that still has good Covid safety procedures when I found out my current vet had dropped theirs. Really glad I switched! Booking, check-in, & payment were all easy to do online. They had taken the time to look at my dog's previous medical records & were more thorough in the exam than the previous vet had been. BEWARE! I needed to get my dog a couple shots so I called around asking about pricing and ultimatley stuck with Zippi vet in Kyle where I have taken my dog before. When I got the pricing I was told the price for the shots which was around $70. I made the appointment and on the day my husband had to take her. He calls me at the time of the appointment saying that she was scheuled in Austin, we had never been to that location and that's 45 minutes from where I live, so I thought why would they schedule her at a location she has never been? Rescheduled the appointment of which was today. Our daughter had to take her and about 10 minutes into the appointment I get another call but this time I am being told its not $70 its $136!!! At the time I was at work so I really couldn't talk so When the receipt came through email I replied and said in the future if someone calls regarding prices you should add in if there needs to be an exam (which was the extra $65) and apparently an exam these days consists of looking at teeth and feeling her belly and they charge $65. Someone replied saying they were sorry and my daughter APPROVED everything, lol. Well no kidding she didn't think she had a choice!! Then they asked what they could do to make it better, I said refund the $65 I was not expecting. To which they replied one of the shots was rabies and the Dr needs to administer that so there is the exam. Well when I called to get the price, of which I told the person which shots I needed, I was not told that. Its the old bait and switch. They get you in there and my daughter said she felt pressured by all the things they said our dog needed and that when she said no they made her feel less than. I am sure there are plenty of vets closer to where I live but decided to drive the extra because my dog was comforable. NOT anymore!! This is bad business. I have been in the dental field for over 23 years and I would never tell someone a price for a filling and then when they get there add 3 more surfaces. I would always say there is a range because I would never want someone to feel like I was cheating them, being dishonest, or do the bait and switch. read more

We are new to the Kyle/San Marcos area and we were looking for a good Vet for our fur baby, Taco. We had been dealing with fleas for the last 2 months and felt like we needed to take him in. We called this morning at 7:30am and explained to the lady who answered all our concerns and she immediately told me we could come in before 8am. My husband left to take Taquito and get him checked and was back within an hour with a happy puppy. Said everybody there was super nice, fast and very reasonable price. Think we found our fam vet clinic! I was very happy with how nice and attentive they were with us. Today I decided to call ZippiVet on a whim to see if I could make an appointment for my Pug for an ear and eye check-up. Not only was the staff very friendly on the phone, they had room for me to come in today, which was awesome!! I've only been in the area for a year and I really needed to a new vet, but have been very hesitant to go because it's so hard to find a reasonably priced vet with a great staff. I drive by ZippiVet all the time and just decided why not!? Needless to say it was the best vet experience I've ever encountered! Camille was so great! She, met with me right from get-go and she was SOOO personable, friendly, and knowledgeable! My favorite part was that she sat down and got to know my dog right away and made herself comfortable with what my visit for. She explained the process of the appointment with me, and went over the costs before we continued. It was super simple and straight to the point! I also met with Dr. Elliot for the check-up and she was very friendly and really attentive to making sure my Pug was taken care of. Nice staff, Cris, but unfortunately the actual vet did not diagnose how severe the my dogs heart failure was due to his murmur. Gave us $100 plus med for a $300 plus bill, to include lab work for $167, and my dog is dead 48 hours later. In short take your pet to an actual emergency vet if you suspect anything could be wrong, as we should have. Our dog got there 24 hours to late, where they took one look at him and realized he was in heart failure. read more

I cannot begin to say enough about this place and the people who work there. Taking care of household pets has got to be so incredibly sensitive and careful work. You have these precious animals in your care for, at times, very concerning ailments and issues, yet they tackle each situation with equal parts love and expertise. They communicate to the owners, with specifics to help them understand the situation. They follow up to make sure their patients are doing ok after procedures. We have 2 dogs and a particularly sassy cat named Siouxsie (who has been the cause of a lot of laughter and some angst!) and all 3 have given them a challenge or two...or three or four. Each time I've been more and more impressed by the ease and professionalism by their team (with BIG shout outs to Camile!!). Didn't get to see the doctor, as they were booked full, but the receptionist was so sweet and sympathetic and she gave us some great alternative options! We were able to get an appointment with one of the alternate locations. I can imagine why they were booked especially if they're medical service is as great as their customer service. read more
