She recommended the shot which I planned for but she also said I should use a "mousse" on her feet to help them heal from the biting. I asked the tech if it will make her sick since she constantly licks them, and the tech said there would be no problem. I applied the mousse when we got home. But that night Mia threw up her dinner and then threw up her breakfast the next morning. I called Cornerstone and had to wait for an available vet to respond to the tech who called me back a few hours later. The vet said "she should have worn a cone". Well - duh? Why didn't they tell me that when they gave me the mousse? Which cost $36 - down the drain. Last week I had another allergie visit and that went badly as well. Mia has an issue with her neck from a long ago injury and will scream if you touch it a certain way. I don't even have a collar on her so nobody accidentally pulls on it. I told the tech this fact as I handed Mia to her and the tech (I don't know her name but she's tall with dark hair) said "yes it's in her charts". She proceeded to slip a leash around her neck, set Mia down on the floor and began to pull her into the room for the shot as Mia was reluctant to go with her. Seriously??? Why didn't she just carry her? She's 13 pounds. Tech was cold and uncaring from my perspective - no explanation. When she brought her back out she barely said a word to me...no smiles...no report on how it went....not good customer service.

I am very protective of my pets so when I say that I am 10000% comfortable leaving my babies in their care having never met them is HUGE! They are not only very communicative with every step of their exam, process, treatment, and follow up. But whenever we tell our furbies they're "going to the Doctor" they get as excited as if I told them they're were going to see their grandparents. The exam room we went to was by a big window and my cat isn't really a window loitering type, but the bird feeder outside with lots of birds were of interest. Lol Both the vet tech and the vet were great. At my request, they even did all the tests in the exam room. They offered a game plan and weren't pressuring me to do more extensive tests. I'll definitely be back when I need my cats to get examined. I feel comfortable taking them to Zippivet for their vet care.

They are compassionate and take their time to hear us out and execute the best healthcare possible as needed. Yes can be a bit pricey for some services, but as pet owners we must all look at the future of the health of our pets as they get older and of course unfortunate events that may occur. We took out pet insurance through my husband's work and we also took advantage of their payment options while waiting to get our money back from the pet insurance company. We used scratch pay and were very satisfied with it. We were approved immediately and gave us peace of mind. Recently we lost our beloved Kaipo. We were devastated because we didn't know he had a tumor. Another vet told us that it was probably nothing and not to worry about it. But come to find out it was a tumor and it burst and he had to be put down because he was suffering. He couldn't walk! We brought him to Kyle Animal Hospital where they examined him thoroughly and found the internal bleeding. My fur baby of almost 16 years was put to rest one day before his birth and two days after my birthday. The compassion and the care we experienced with this place was truly heartwarming. It was a time of devastation and sorrow, yet they comforted us with caring and understanding. I take my other fur baby Faith here and my daughter's two cats. NOW, starting in July, I've been receiving texts saying she's overdue for a wellness exam. WHAT KIND OF RACKET IS THIS? Cha Ching, Cha Ching $$$&. Couldn't pay ME to go back there.
