We met with several different bike stores and large retail operations. When we went to the Davidson store of Spirited Cyclist, Alex Pope of the store met and spoke with us. He spent a great deal of time with us to discuss different bikes, options and asked a lot of questions about use of the bike. He took a great interest in our needs, provided information to us related to bikes (information we could not have even asked questions about as we are bicycle experts) and options, things to consider. Based on his recommendations and my daughter's preferences, my daughter did test rides to determine the most comfortable bike for her. A few weeks later we came back and ordered the bike. We believed we had enough time for the bike to arrive in time for my daughter's birthday. When I called back to check on the bike delivery date (on the Friday before my daughter's birthday that following Monday) I spoke with Derrick. We learned the bike was not in the shipment for that day (Friday) so now a potential problem for securing the bike on or before her birthday. Derrick at this store then made a few more calls, advised me the bike would be in on Monday around 11 am and though the shop closed that day, he would come to the store, wait for delivery and assemble it and deliver it to my house. At 1:30 pm, that Monday, Derrick delivered the bike! Great, friendly and knowledgeable staff, very accountable and very friendly customer focused. Could not have been more pleased.
