We were able to go from uptown down Sugar Creek Greenway and into Freedom park and even a little bit past that easily. There's always availability and the bikes are well maintained. She uses technology only for a baseline or to provide measurements and used her knowledge of body mechanics and physiology to make changes to the bike. In late October, the leaves are turning making for some fabulous colors. The trailhead includes a dirt parking lot, a sign with the map of the park (take a picture so you can remember better!) and a couple of port-a-potties. The hills provide ample fun for mountain bikers, plus plenty of distance for hikers and runners. The woods are dense with all kinds of trees. A two-track access road cuts through the middle, but is for authorized use only. There's a gravel lot along the road with room for plenty of cars, but note that it is gated and appears to close at sunset. The trails slope down generally, so be prepared to get some vert on your ride or run.
