We were looking for a bike for my husband who is 6'4", so he needed an extra large bike frame. The woman I spoke to over the phone was very nice and reserved the only one they had in stock for us to come and pick up the same day. When we arrived to the shop we were greeted right away, and the woman I spoke with on the phone helped us with getting all the right supplies and gear we needed for the bike. They installed everything for us while making conversation about local bike trails and paths that the employees enjoyed taking. We really appreciated the recommendations! As newer bike owners we were very pleased with the service we were given, and the environment was super friendly and supportive to new bike owners. Will definitely be recommending to all of our friends and will be revisiting for all of our bicycle needs!

(You know, the ones that don't wave when they pass another cyclist on the road. Yeah those guys.) But when you give the people the idea that you're a true cyclist and that you at least care about the subject material, they can be surprisingly quite helpful and friendly. The first time I came in here one clerk talked and talked about all the local area rides, races and such and you could tell he was a true lover of cycling. He was good for filling my friend and I in on whatever we needed to know. We aren't hardcore road cyclists but we build our own bikes and he was great with helping us find out about parts and accessories. Another time I came in to buy a freewheel cog and even though they didn't know exactly what I was looking for, they pulled down a box of unusual things and let me dig through it. Depending on what you get the prices can be okay, but generally speaking, and as it is a TREK store, the prices are gonna be quite high even when compared to more modest (less flaunting) bike shops. So in terms of staff friendliness and helpfulness, this place definitely wins out.

We waited for awhile to be acknowledge but the 2 workers were helping someone but they never took their focus off of them until those customers left. So anyway the guy asked if anyone had been helping us I replied no and explained I was looking to get fitted for a bike and he did show me 2 bikes and even let me test drive them in the parking lot. He concluded that I needed a medium size hybrid but the bikes were wayyyyyy out my price range so we looked at a used bike also and it rode well but I rather keep Looking before I buy a used bike. The guy was helpful once he acknowledged us but Trek bicycle is has hefty price tags for bikes so be aware, they also repair bikes so that's good to know.

Late last summer the…read moreimpeller failed and it took on water, they charged us $2,100 for a repair (boil out procedure, new impeller, impeller shaft, seals) and claimed it was lake-tested afterwards -- it wasn't. Less than two minutes back on the water, the supercharger blew, sending shrapnel into the intercooler -- another $3,000+ repair. A certified tech I know later told me the engine wasn't fully cleared of water, likely causing the failure. It didn't end there. First time on the water this spring and an oil leak from a broken O-ring (their fault) causing a fourth trip to see them. All this and we rode it for less than an hour. The staff acts like they're doing you a favor fixing their own mistakes. The service manager Joie is unhelpful, and the GM, Susan Newsome, refused to speak with me. Incompetent service from top to bottom. Avoid this business.

When he went to pick it up today (Thursday) he was told the technician was "just finishing it up". After he paid the $576 bill, they brought it out and loaded on the trailer. While they were securing, my husband walked around and was looking at the grease fittings. Luckily, he knows what he is looking at and could tell that no greasing had been done. He went back into the office and told "Frank" that it had not been greased. He was told "oh you were a little early". Keep in mind, the appointment was Wednesday. The technician brought it back in, had it in for less than 10 minutes, and out the door it came again. Once again, the Can Am was loaded, and once again my husband walked around and looked. And, once again, he could tell at least one of the fittings had not been greased. After going back in and telling them the issue, they sent the tech back out with him. The tech immediately said "I greased all of the fittings on this", to which my husband (who was regrettably quite annoyed by now) pointed to one and said "does this f#$&ing fitting look greased?" The tech's response was "I guess I forgot one, and you're an a#$hole." Wow. Supposedly, the noise we hear is because both front axles need to be replaced to the cost of probably close to $800. Uh huh, right, and we are just going to bring it right back to have you do that. I told my husband he should check to make sure the oil really got changed.
