While I was living in Las Vegas, my naturally thin nails (despite taking tons of supplements and applying daily nail oil!) experienced trauma during a fill, and all of my nails needed extra care afterward -- I spent seven months slugging them with nail oil and thick cream to help them recover. I was so happy to return to San Antonio after the long hiatus and get back in Eva's chair. Before applying gel, she did a very light buff to help protect my natural nails. Thanks to her careful technique, my nails can continue growing out healthy without any further damage. Beyond her skill and attention to nail health, Eva is also so creative and always wears the most inspirational designs. If a nail is filed correctly, she would not be bleeding in a localized area in that nature. That's not irritation. TF? Very unprofessional to gaslight her. I have been frequenting this place for over a year and have recommended this place multiple times. But as of recently, I've been getting knicked, improperly filed down and had less than ideal results. The service has been inconsistent and it's sad to see this place go downhill. It's even more sad to see that management has not only gaslit me, but very clearly is doing it to other women.

Called to see if I could get a Gel Mani-Pedi appt and was hoping to get Sandy again. I asked if she…read morewas available within 1/2 an hour and they initially said yes but minutes later called to see if I could come 45 minutes later and that was fine. I got there on time and checked in and they gave me some nail swatches to look thru. After a few minutes, they sat me in a Pedi chair. I continued looking at the swatches and saw Sandy still doing a Pedicure. I turned on the massager on the chair and just chilled out. When she finally got to me, we exchanged pleasantries because it had been awhile since I last saw her. She's very friendly, kind and personable. I like to develop relationships with my Self-Care peeps and it's important to me that they're engaging, talented and easy to get along with. Sandy is that type of person. She's fast and helps me out. I showed her my one broken nail that I told I kept trying to grow out but kept breaking and showed her my thin, scraggly nails. I told her I was trying to grow them out for months after I stopped using Dip Powders. She hooked me up and made them look pretty even if the nails weren't long. Kudos to her and thank you for not letting me feel embarrassed about the state of my toes and nails, LOL!! She'd just say "It's okay! I'll take care of you!" :-)

Cons: We had pedicures that were described as including 22-minute massages. This equated to basic rubbing, not massaging, and that time included time with the scrub, lotion, and hot stones. For the price we paid, I expect (and have received elsewhere) at least somewhat of a foot/leg massage during that time period. Not all of the paraffin was removed for my husband. Also, the woman doing his pedicure encouraged him to have his nails buffed, which he agreed to, but she did not mention there was an extra charge. This was already during the pedicure, so the service menu was not available at the the time (and as someone who does not get pedicures often, he had no idea that is something that would cost more). We arrived as walk-ins and they said they had availability for both of us. After having us go to our chairs, the woman arrived and started his pedicure while I sat at my chair (no water in the bowl to at least relax and soak). I waited almost 15 more minutes for mine to start. This made no sense since I would need polish removal, polish application, and time to dry. In these situations, it would make the most sense for a salon to start on the customer whose service would take longer. Overall, it was a very basic experience. We will choose one of many other options the next time.

I made an appointment for my wife to get her nails done today 11/8/2025 and placed the time for 3:00pm-6:15pm the nail tech Dani sent me a message at 1:15 asking if my wife was still going to her appointment, I let her know yes she will be. She texted me back at 1:50 pm saying my appointment was canceled and that she was an hour late. I was then charge a cancellation fee of $49. Keep in mind I didn't even know that the appointment had been changed until after it was canceled because she immediately canceled it after texting me. I did not receive a phone call, message or confirmation email stating that my appointment had been changed for the services I wanted until after she texted me it was canceled. I'm very upset and I will NEVER make an appointment here again. I feel scammed lied to and taken advantage of. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. They will absolutely scam you in a heart beat and change the appointment without notice, then charge a fee saying you were late when that simply is not true. I'll usually bring in a picture of what I want and Kim always does even better than the picture and has done her own twist on things. This is an appointment-only place and they don't take walk ins! I've never had to wait more than 10 mins from my appointment time. And if Kim is running behind, she'll usually reach out and let me know what time to come. I made the mistake of going somewhere else for a fill because Kim was out and I couldn't get an appointment with anyone else here, and I regretted it. I will never go anywhere else!
