Lol the wife got a salami flatbread thing with chilli jam which was really good as well, we ordered a spicy salami pizza and 4 different slices from there 24inch pizza range, didn't have to wait to long on our food, when it arrived I was immediately jealous of my wife's selection it was basically twice the size of my pizza, and that is my only issue with the visit to little wing, both where within 50p of each other and my pizza was tiny! My recommendation is the 4 slices for £10 for anyone visiting here! I could have eaten all of the wife's pizza she couldn't finish but wanted to enjoy it later so we boxed it up for later, very impressed with little wings and will definitely be back:)

Although little wing is fast becoming a chain franchise here it still manages to retain its charm unlike the other mass produced pizza chains you get everywhere. The prices are good and just like their city centre sister you can get a drink and a slice on the go! Always a good thing! I found the staff great and very attentive and although we didn't sample the desserts (no room) I will certainly be back to if the ones floating past us tasted as good as they looked!!

It was huge and came with 2 slicers to cut it anyway we like. They can get busy and our order got stuck right behind a large togo order, so the manager gave us a few orders of dough balls on the house while we waited. Those dough balls were delicious, brushed with garlic butter. We waited for a while for the pie and the 6 of us devoured it in short order. Good stuff! No draft beers, but bottles/cans, wine, and they have spirits to mix.

This unit lay empty for several months and I wondered what would become of it. Then, some weeks ago, I spotted the opening soon sign for Belfast Wood Fired Pizza Company and kept an eye on when they might be opening. Well, now they're open and I've recently been to try them out. From their preset combos, I ordered the Salt and chilli Portavogie prawn, parsley, coriander gremolata, rocket and fresh lemon, in other words not something I'd ever had elsewhere. Now, no matter how good or how interesting the toppings, it's the bread that makes or breaks a pizza. In this case it certainly made it as at least one of the best pizza bases I've ever had. It was thin with good flavour and texture, with a good balance of crispy and chewy. It was neither hard nor tough nor soggy. I'm definitely looking forward to the next time.

Anyway, last night after a beer or two he logged on to his overused Just Eat account and purchased one fourteen inch meat feast pizza and one pepperoni. The only problem was we were at a friends house and he didn't change the delivery address. Marciano's dealt with this like absolute pros, calling five times and leaving voicemails. We eventually got our pizzas and they didn't even seem to mind the mix up because he was a 'regular'. The pizzas were great. Really filling and loaded with toppings. We all commented that they were genuinely authentic and pipping hot! Also they have a fantastic range of pizzas including a body builders pizza loaded with chicken and broccoli! This is a fantastic addition to the Bangor takeaway scene and it's all the better that you can order and pay online. Easy five stars just for how they dealt with the address mix up!

Having started following a fully vegan lifestyle from January 2018, I've recently heard good things about Greens and how they now offer an extensive range of vegan options. Hence I decided to throw caution to the wind and give it a go. Ballyhackamore Greens is definitely popular, especially with families, as it was extremely busy when we arrived circa 7pm, Friday 30/03/2018. We got the last remaining booth and ordered Vegan Butter Garlic Bread, which was also topped with vegan cheese when set in front of us - not what we asked for, as we had specified no cheese when ordering! But hey-ho. Our pizzas were a Bawnmore; no cheese, artichokes, olives, peppers, onions and oregano. Plus the Earlswood; tomato, vegan cheese, mushrooms, onions, sweetcorn and basil. All bland, bland, bland, blah. In fairness the Garlic Bread Starter was decent and Brawnmore better than the Earlswood thanks to lots of olives. But nothing was spectacular or even really good. We piled on chilli flakes, garlic oil and chilli oil. Once we managed to obtain chilli oil that is - we had to ask three times for it! Third ask brought forth an admission from a waitress that there's only one bottle of garlic and one bottle of chilli oil for the whole restaurant! Hence she set off to retrieve it from another table for us. Absolutely ridiculous and quite comical! Greens either need to invest in a few more bottles of oil, or when customers ask for oil possibly dispense it into small containers and leave to tables as necessary. I wanted to give this branch of Greens a chance and really hoped to like it, especially because of the numerous vegan options. Unfortunately thick chewy pizza bases, bland toppings, an unwelcoming maître d' (abrupt and unsmiling with an air of just not wanting to be there) plus a comical farce over obtaining a bit of chilli oil really let this restaurant down. Not an enjoyable experience.
