Absolutely and utterly amazing and what I would confidently say is the best pizza in the world…read more That may sound like a bold claim but I really do think it is up there with the best of the best. This place is amazing to get food after a night out or even to take away for dinner. I always try to ring ahead, they'll tell you it will be five minutes but if you call in about 10-15 after you hang up then you will just walk in and pick up the food straight away. If you go in often enough they'll get to know your order and are the friendlist blokes in the world. They know me by name and it really makes you want to go back over and over. It really, really doesn't get much better. Especially if you get a Funghi Pizza or even a Doner Kebab on Chips. The kebab sauce is amazing.

Wow. These guys know how to do good pizza!…read more We weren't expecting too much more than an average pizza from here one evening we popped in ad boy were we in for a surprise, an a treat! The staff are super friendly and really chatty too, which is a rarity nowadays and they have every topping you could want on offer here so you really can go nuts and be creative! We decided to go with chicken, bacon, peppers, jalapenos and onion and the verdict? Awesome! If you're after really authentic pizza which tastes great then look no further!

I decided to try Geogia's on Holywood High Street as there's always a queue and I've always wondered if it was actually worth waiting for. First thing I am going to say is the staff are great, there were 3 working when I went in and they seemed to be running a tight ship, each person had their job and they were performing their jobs to perfection. I asked if they took debit card but unfortunately they didn't. The chap working said I could place my order and go to the ATM further up the road and by the time I got back my food would be ready. He wasn't wrong because I came back to the shop just in time to answer the all important question, 'Do you want salt and vinegar?' The food itself was good, although not mind blowing. There's plenty of competition in this area for fish and chips so Georgia's always had a lot to live up to. I got a 'Cod Supper' - I got loads of chips (too many) but the fish portion wasn't huge although it was fried to perfection. The meal was enjoyable and I will definitely be back although I might try something different from their large menu.

I ordered the Cowboy supper( chips, sausages and beans) and my friend ordered a burger (made specially by Georgia herself) and we enjoyed every bite. The service was also excellent, everyone was friendly and did their jobs well. I think its safe to say this will not be the last time i will be visiting Georgia's chippy.

I'd read some glowing reviews of this fish & chip shop so I kept it in mind. I don't eat this food…read morevery often now but I did eat a lot of it in my early teens, but that's a whole other story. So pulled up into the car park, two degrees outside and 'are we human or are we dancer' coming out of the radio as I turned off the engine. First duty was into a nearby supermarket for a soft white bread pan. When it's fish n chips it has to be tea, bread and lots of butter. A good sprinkling of salt on the fish n chips too. Carbs, animal fats and hardly a healthy calorie in sight. So into the chip shop to a friendly welcome from a man, certainly didn't look like Paula but it's a funny old world so I thought better than to ask. Two fish and chips please (or as we used to say: two fish suppers) £11.60 was required. I checked it was cod and he almost seemed taken aback at my question - he said, 'of course'. I waited a bit pleased that the food was being cooked to order. The portions of cod were huge, with fresh, white chunky and skinless meat. If you aren't sure how fresh cod tastes try it here as it's very fresh. I thought each chip portion was a tad mean but once home and in the plate it was generous enough. The food is cooked in beef dripping. There is no substitute good enough, groundnut, peanut, rapeseed, olive, corn oils none come close. The batter was towards thin and I like that, and to be fair the food sat in a take out bag until I got home and put out the plates and do on. Despite this the food was excellent, perfectly good food and still quite warm. A chip buttie was a must. Now I've eaten some of the finest foods on earth but I gotta tell ya the taste of a white soft pan bread chip buttie with a bit of salt and a generous slap of butter is wonderful made all the better with hot tea. The glowing reviews are right, it's a great place. The next time I want very good fish & chips I know where to go. Maybe next time I'll sit in and have it at its very best. Who knows now that oil prices have fallen the prices here should drop too.

I can honestly say that apart from 'The Gellie' name( still think of it as Donny's myself!) the place hasn't changed in 30+ years!! It is a full on traditional chippy. You won't find anything new or snazzy on the menu but you will get a tasty meal at a reasonable price. Situated just across from Upritchard Park at the entrance to Bloomfield Estate I recommend it highly. Staff are great, portions are generous and you just can't beat their pastie suppers!

There is…read morea translation board placed on the wall behind the counter with all the Ulster-Scots words for the food that can be bought. And that's where the novelty ends. Beyond that, it is a standard, run of the mill chip shop. Not one of these all singing, all dancing affairs with fancy names for their burgers. If you want a chicken burger, you ask for a chicken burger. The location? Well, it sits at the entrance to Bloomfield Estate (which is opposite Bloomfield's shopping centre) and can be easily accessed by passers by. It is, however, prone to swarms of feral children hanging around outside. OK, swarms might be an exaggeration, but only slightly. The food itself, is standard chip shop fayre. A consistent standard and decent sized portions for reasonable prices. If anyone is passing, I do recommend it but generally used by locals.
