    Key lime

I came here with a couple of friends. We started with two appetizers- octopus and crispy rice. Both were reasonably large for appetizers and enjoyable. We ordered the crab rice dish (forget what it's called), garlic noodles and a beef dish. Then we finished with a key lime dessert (which I would have finished if I wasn't so full). Service from Michael was great. He was on point with time, spacing and service. He was informative with the history of ambiance (mood, music, a chef's vision). Only downfall for me was the lack of liquor choices. I'm selective with what tequilas I enjoy and there weren't many choices without preservatives. I'll be back.

Everything was wonderful, great ambience and furnishings. The food was excellent. Their version of an Espresso Martini was the best I had ever. Our waitress Janae was very good. We will definitely add this place to one of our favorites for dining.

Great service! It's a local favorite. This restaurant is a vibe! It's dim and cozy, has a full bar with a variety of drinks, mocktails, and great music! The food is so good and the staff is on it! Came without a reservation and had a really nice meal and experience.

    Spring roles were perfect!

Wow! Why didn't I know about this place? It's fantastic! And they have other locations across LA yayyyyy! This time I went to the RB one after a nice beach and PV walk. Delish. We had the fish appetizer, and the spring rolls. We were in a rush and needed to eat light. The flavor of their sauces and seasonings is so so good! Costs are as expected. Service was good. The interior decor is very cute. Live the red leather seats with the bronze grommets like a 70s modern twist. Parking is ok weekdays but lunch and dinner and weekends are a bit harder as the area has tons of places to eat and shop and people park here for the beach as well so be prepared! Bus stops nearby! Will def be back or to visit another location!

Hey Little Sis! Thank you so much for the amazing meal and vibes. The playlist was on point just like the food. I'd already had an opportunity to dine here with my little sister last year and I knew I had to return with my husband. We walked in knowing that the food was going to be everything I remembered based on the smell and I knew I wouldn't want the night to end once I lifted my fork. I'll be honest, I had to use my hands a couple of times . Don't judge how else would you eat fried chicken and lettuce wraps. We had so much more than that but the aforementioned appetizers needed hand action and finger licking. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable with a cool sense of humor. This was a multi vibe type of spot... family friendly , date night chilling, single living , and girls night thrilln all mixed into one . When it comes to the food it's hard to describe every dish and If I attempted it would take too long so I'll leave you with these adjectives: Vibrant, Appetizing, Aromatic, Fresh, Delectable, Awesome, and Delicious. I have the pictures to prove it. Litttle Sister is a Must Try !

We came here for dinner on a Saturday, & I left surprised at the quality of the Yelp reviews. It is a cute place, & we scored a meter right out front. But we had mixed feelings about the food & the service was odd. Warm milk rolls - the hot, soft in the middle rolls served w/butter & star anise-spiced honey were super yum. Definitely recommend! Pan seared sea bass - looked good & my friend really enjoyed it Shaky shaky beef - the tomato rice was the best thing on this plate. The beef was described as very soft tenderloin chunks - but it was cooked so long, it had the texture of chewy beef liver in too much overly salty sauce. Plus the watercress salad was 90% stem. I do not recommend. Pan fried eggplant - a generous side dish, & well seasoned. Would recommend. Chocolate mousse cake - this was very good, served with a raspberry sorbet. I'd recommend. The service was odd. No butter knives were given with the (not fully soft) butter & sticky honey for the warm milk rolls. And three separate bussers tried to clear away the butter & honey dish while we were still eating our rolls. Our server gave my friend a very vague description of how to eat her sea bass ssam style (it came with a bowl of lettuce, herbs, vermicelli & peanuts), but the fish itself is way too wet & sauced to be eaten with your hands in a lettuce leaf wrap. We looked at pics of the fresh rice rolls & they too were sitting in a sauce. Too much automatically sauced food on this menu. The things I did enjoy & would recommend do not justify a return visit. Price is usually not something that affects my reviews - but the prices here are not worth it at all. There is so much better, actually authentic, Vietnamese food to be had elsewhere in this city.

Glad to see Little Sister Redondo Beach open up Saturday and Sunday brunch to compete with the other surrounding restaurants. And the brunch menu did not disappoint. So many delicious-sounding options. The Croque Madame was very good. Great flavors with the shrimp, pork, egg and brioche. The salad was a refreshing balance, but the dressing from the salad makes the bread too soggy. Maybe plate the salad in a bowl alongside the Croque Madame. XO brunch fries were definitely the highlight of the meal. So much good flavors in each bite. I tried some of my friend's pho bo. Unfortunately the flavor wasn't there. Too much fat in the broth and there was no depth to it. Pho broth needs to simmer for hours, the longer, the better. There was only one server managing the entire restaurant, and he was nice, but service was really slow. Took about 20 minutes to get our fries and another 30 minutes to get our main dishes. Also, there was a dead roach on the floor, next to our table, which I pointed out to the server and he got rid of it. It's SoCal. Roaches are expected. It was dead so that's a good sign that the place is sprayed, but still not great to see as you're eating. I do like the brunch menu and wanted try other options, but TBH, not sure I'll come back to this location.

Had a great dinner recently! All of the dishes we tried were great, especially the dessert! They have outside seating which we appreciated so we could dine with our pup. They provided a water bowl and were flirty friendly with our pup. We went on a slow day, which was great because we got sat quickly and the waitress was super friendly and attentive.

So I'm not going to lie my review is really old. maybe from 2023. We came for mother's day and it was a whole feast! the food was really good and something unique and I loved it so much I went to the el Segundo one as soon as it opened at the pointe. the service wasn't great from what I remember with slightly rude hosts and a server who was like no where to be found, and I think even rolled her eyes at us when we asked her to turn the heater on because we were sitting outside. mind you, we had a reservation and all and we were under the impression we would be dining inside because we had a large group with old folks who get cold easily. other than that the experience was good. obvi getting the food togo isn't the same but I do think they are unique enough to try once! it is really expensive though and that was 2 or 3 years ago so be prepared to spend some cash.

First time going and I would highly recommend. The atmosphere is laid back yet has the ambiance of being upscale. I started with a drink- the Golden Lotus. Which was made by Mike, who is one the best bartenders I've encountered, the drink was delicious. Then based off of Ryan's awesome recommendation I ordered the 'Xoi'- Sticky Rice and the Goi Cuon. Both were good, but I found myself loving the Gio Cuon (spring rolls) more! I highly, highly recommend their spring rolls! All around an amazing meal, phenomenal customer service and the food made me smile on the first bite.

We had reservations for 6:15 pm on a Saturday that we had changed a couple hours before. I think there was miscommunication because the hostess said she didn't have our reservation down, but they were still able to sit us at another table. We were a party of 2. Our server was really nice! And she checked up on us pretty often. They gave us complimentary spicy cucumbers and warm towels. The cucumbers had a nice crunch and they gave us a good amount. We also ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls and loved the crunchy pork that added texture to the dish. I ordered the Pho Bo and what set this dish apart from the others was the higher quality ingredients. They also give a healthy amount of pho noodles.

    Rija K.

Portion size was great very large and filling. Dumpling appetizer was so good and the chicken curry, everything was SO flavorful. I loved the garlic noodles bc I love pasta and noodles lol I can't wait to go back and try out the pho. It is pricey though in terms of what each dish is priced at. The beef dish was okay not what I would go back for but I can't wait to go back to try the Pho.

Fresh short rib spring rolls & amazing appetizers! Their wine list is impressive and cocktails are a must!

Always my neighborhood go to! Little sister's continues to hold a special place in my heart. With friendly servers. The food holds up to it reputation of excellence.

The Wicked Wolf is a kind of place that offers the opportunity for whimsical mischief. For…read moreinstance, they have a rooftop area. And this one time I was there alone with another, no other patrons just staff members walking around from time to time. We stole the moment to dance under the Long Beach sky, just the two of us as a famous Christina Perrio song gently wafted in the night breeze. At another separate time, I was at the Los Angeles County Fair with another. We rode the ferris wheel at such a time where our gondola stopped at the top just as the sun set. The moment was nothing but beautiful and life affirming because the sinking of the sun's light was like a real life video of nature happening in front of us, unburdened by static or data stall. We witnessed nature resting, and I feel, that it was a kin to a beauty falling into a gentle sleep. These two instances have a common factor: momentary bliss arrived to bless an experience because the environment supported discovery of unplanned joy. That is what I associate with the Wicked Wolf, and this time the joy arrived eventually because when my Mom and I arrived to their high tea on Mother's Day the experienced seem like it would land nowhere good. Truth be told, my mom and I arrived 15 minutes early and there was no host in the stand and the place was empty except for a foursome. The energy felt lacked luster. One or two minutes after, the bartender informed us that we were early and the host would come soon. We sat in an available sofa for two, a loveseat persay. This gave us an opportunity to admire the decor that transported us to a storybook forest where good fairies reside, not like swamp creatures and trolls with malevolent fangs and dragon green eyes. I especially loved the large roses in the ceiling. To set the stage, the black ceiling had vines hanging from it, and the few roses were pops of crimson red displayed above. These were wonderful accents to the central mural of the joint that invited the viewer within deeper into the fairy forest where a light shone on an unseen meadow. The place had the decorations and general environment to be a lavender fairy's lounge, but, it did not fully work as a team room. For instance, my mom and I were sat in another lover's couch. Initially, I did not want to sit here because we were given circular tray sets. So imagine being told to sit in a couch, and each of us would get a tv tray. So I was left to wonder if we were going to be served tea in Belle's living room or if were going to watch a flick as we ate pollo loco bowl? But then as I settled into the tranquility of the moment, saw more people come and find their seat or couch, and as the serviced picked-up I realized that this was high tea in a place that had taken disjointed beauty and tackied it together for a patched tea experience that worked well. It was like the experienced was blessed and allowed by the same spirit that brought forth Raggedy Ann. For instance, the pictures show these pretty violet petaled tea cups and matching plates. This pairing was dainty and perfect for a tea party happening under pink veils. But then the sugar cubes came in a hedgehog shaped holder which was just as precious as seeing a piglet in a carriage built for one. Then the cream carrier was in the shape of a milk carton. I wondered where the missing child portrait was? The pastry plate was in the shape of a tropical flower like the ones scattered all over Hawaii. It belonged in a beautiful lei. Each of these elements was cute in its own delicate and whimsical way but together they made an eclectic hodgepodge, not a coherent tea set. And in this asymmetry laid the glitter of their error. The host also brought these clip on dainty hats that were perfect touches for make believe tea party. He carried them around in their original packing, including the box they came in. Not exactly the tailor of the queen, offering hats to the villagers as a gift from her to them, but still the effort magnified the moment. The tea food was the worst stumble that Red took as she was being chased by the Wicked Wolf. To begin with the end analysis, the tea offerings in general were standard, and not bites fit for a princess and her wedding court. For instance, the cream cheese and cucumber sandwich was just that---- a cucumber and cream cheese sandwich. I detected no effort to make it more than that. The blueberry scone was solid, nothing to skip through a meadow about. But once you added the jam of the table to the scone it was much easier to enjoy. I also had a madeline that was fluffy in the center but could have been purchased maybe at Costco. I had a Macaron and same thing, delicious but I have had something similar before and I suspected that it did not come from a place afloat with Parisian affairs. The best part of the tiers was this puff like thing that had like a Concha texture and design at the top. It was a sweet filled bite that was fit for a man made of muffin.
