    Banana Pudding

Talk about an experience! This was my first time here and I felt like I walked into another world! The decor in this restaurant was very unique and I enjoyed that I created an enjoyable dining experience. I took my food to go but the servers were very helpful in helping me find something I'd enjoy from the menu. I had the BBQ chicken plate with beans and mac and cheese. It was very tasty and I even tried some more BBQ sauce with it. The banana pudding was smooth and creamy but not too heavy- will definitely be having that again! I really enjoyed the large side of hush puppies that came with my order and I can't wait to come back and try some more food!

Little Richards has the best wings in the triad! I know I've said that before, but I had them again tonight and felt that way once more. They're perfectly smoked for tons of flavor with a crispy bite into a juicy wing. Other notables...that Korean sauce! I always order it on the side. The crinkle fries are good. And the green beans are great. They give you tons of those hush puppies!

    Pure banana pudding happiness.

Little Richards is always reliably amazing and affordable. We come here and eat like kings and bring home leftovers for at least one more meal for the whole family. Our move is to get the three meat combo, go double the ribs with brisket and add a smoked wing meal on the side. You wind up with four sides, a mountain of delicious hush puppies and so many opportunities to try all of their sauces. Their ranch is legendary. You simply must finish with a banana pudding that comes plated so adorably in a mason jar. Always happy, always stuffed, always lightening fast.. basically perfection.

While enjoying a girls weekend in Winston, we wanted BBQ and was told on great authority that Little Richards was the best. After a day of wine tasting, we stopped for a late dinner. We split a rib platter, the Smoked Pimento Cheese chips and a basket of hushpuppies. The Smoked Pimento Cheese Chips were my favorite! After a day of drinking they were perfect. With the rib platter we got the frito pie and baked beans. Frito Pie for my "northern" friends is a "Walking Taco" Fritos with taco meat, cheese, lettuce and sour cream served in the frito bag. YUM. It wasn't very busy for a Saturday night, but it was kind of late 8pm. I would definitely go back. I'll add photos shortly.

Little Richards in Clemmons off Lewisville-Clemmons Rd on Stadium Dr is a great barbecue restaurant. The service was great and seated right away. Lots of options food wise and plenty of great selections. Highly recommend the corn bites and chicken. The beef brisket was on the drier side and French fries were nothing special. I wish they would offer less sides and more meat for the price you pay but still plenty of food.

Sit yourself kinda place! Love it

Great place if you're looking for BBQ! It's a little hidden off of Clemmons Lewisville. Loved the sweet tea so much we took home a pitcher. I went for the BBQ Ribs and OMG so delicious, melting right off the bone! We will definitely come back for more. They have great outdoor seating which I forgot to take pictures of.. next time. Inside is just as comfortable, a little like southern hospitality where you can sit yourself, instead of waiting. Let it be known I didn't care as much for the fried Okra or the hush puppies. Though, did I mention the BBQ ribs!! My kid had the beef brisket, and she gave me a thumbs up! I'll be back to try more items from their menu.

The brisket & pulled pork are my faves! I'm super picky about Mac n cheese also, and Little Richard's definitely nails it! I LOVE this place so much. Always a go-to spot when in Clemmons. Go here when hungry cuz the portions are huge!

Pork, slaw, okra, hushpuppies. Pork was just OK.

I chose their original sauce, by far the best selection for the brisket. As usual the to go order was out quickly, just over 10 minutes, and I was on my way, with my meal securely packaged. These folks do a great job filling your order quickly and accurately, and for a reasonable price - things that used to be so common at restaurants stretching from hot dog joints to steak houses - pretty rare these days! This was the typical excellent meal from Honky Tonk - the brisket was very nice, made very special by their original BBQ sauce; the Brisket Chili had its own full smoky taste, with beans included, but apparently no onions; and the collards are good but not great - more sweetness than I care for, no sign of meat onions, or cabbage. I drain the liquid that comes with the collard and add a healthy doses of red wine vinegar and Texas Pete. The sausage included cheddar and jalapeños, and packed a nice spice level. This would be nice served a full length on a hot dog bun with a stout mustard. This Tue and Wed promise to be rather cool, will consider another visit for the Brunswick Stew, more good stuff!

As the name suggests, this is still an operation focused on takeaway dining, though there are some tables available on the sidewalk outside. I'd end up taking my food home on this trip though. Once again I decided to sample the Chicago-style hot dogs offered here. And there have been improvements since my first visit. The product now comes on an actual poppy seed bun, as it should. I don't think the bun was steamed though and that hurts the texture. The hot dog itself had a good snap and taste, and the through-the-garden toppings were loaded well onto the bun. Something's still missing about the overall taste though, as these simply don't measure up to other Chicago-style hot dogs I've had -- including many far away from Chicago. The build of the sandwich looks closer to being correct than it did five years ago, but the flavors are still wrong, and I wish they'd work to figure out what it is they're missing. I placed my order on site rather than calling it in, and the young lady at the counter was pleasant. It took a little longer than I'd expected for the kitchen to prepare my order; maybe they just don't get many requests for the Windy City dog and they're just not well versed in putting it together? This latest experience leaves me scoring Joe's somewhere between two and three stars, and though the food was better than last time I still lean towards the lower side of that range. Maybe their more Carolina-themed food would be better and result in a higher rating, but there are already plenty of places I can go locally for a hot dog fixed "our way," many of which would be at a more competitive price point and with better options for drinks and seating. I wanted to try Joe's because of the hot dog options they have that aren't widely represented elsewhere in this area, and in those respects I still can't find much to love here.

It is flavorful and tender, and the sauce takes it over the top. There burgers are first rate (go for the Smash Burger), as are the hot dogs, no matter how you top them off. I especially like the Chili Dog with mustard and onion, the Chicago style dog, and a simple dog with mustard and kraut! The Ribs are very nice, tender and loaded with flavor. There are plenty of tasty sides, and I love the Street Corn, the Collards, the Fried Okra, and Mac & Cheese. Joe's is the type of locally owned restaurant that I love to support. The food and service are first rate. Because it has little street visibility, it's location, is small with no inside seating, and is take out, a number of folks will never give this place a visit, and that's a shame. The burger here is as good as those at Alex's, Bobo's, Mr BBQ, and Dairi-o. The hot dogs are as good as those at Dairi-o, Mr BBQ, and Kermit's, and very close to those at PB's. The Beef Brisket is as good as any in the area, and far better than the vast majority. I highly recommend and hope you will visit.

I even asked the barista if he remembered to put the espresso in it and he said that he did. I'm not so sure... this time I ordered something different. I asked which flavors of syrups they had and also if they were Housemade. The mark of a true gourmet coffeehouse is housemaid syrups... The girl told me that they don't make the syrups in this location, but at their Charlotte location and they're brought up here. They had the typical ones: vanilla hazelnut and mocha. I chose to get a regular iced oat milk latte sweetened with a little honey with cinnamon powder. The flavor of the espresso is very good and bold and it blended well with the cinnamon and honey. I also ordered two pastries, including A chocolate chunk cookie and a blueberry muffin. I ordered the blueberry muffin because a customer behind me said that the blueberry muffin is his wife's absolute favorite of all the blueberry muffins she's ever had! That sold me on it! The same kind customer mentioned something about a chocolate chunk cookie as he was asking his friend who was already sitting down what he wanted. Again, when I heard chocolate chunk cookie, I had to have one! They had samples of chocolate chip bread that was tasty, but it seemed to have sugar on it which though it is very common in most bakeries I do not prefer. I have no idea why they are putting sugar on top of pastries that are already sweet. It is likely due to the fact that most Americans are addicted to sugar! The complaint that I have is that it took forever for the barista to make my iced latte... I have no idea why... At one point after she had been working on it for several minutes she had to go get more oat milk but before that, I don't know what was taking her so long. Anyway, Copain has a cool vibe and they were playing very beautiful music that suited the vibe very well. The blueberry muffin was tasty and full of fresh blueberries but again it had sugar on top of it! The chocolate chunk cookie was also very large, fresh and soft. It was full of chocolate chunks, and I could even taste a hint of sea salt. Again, it was a little too sweet for me, though. There were several customers in Copain Bakery and Provisions enjoying their coffees and food. They have lots of edible items, including sweet and savory ones sandwiches, salads, croissants, muffins, cookies, brownies... They have ample amount of items to choose from to suit mini a distinct pallet. The service was also very friendly and warm. The prices were also what I considered to be excellent as I paid a total of less than $20 and that included the tip for my two pastries and my 16 ounce iced oat milk latte!
