Mike is extremely knowledgeable on kitchen and bath design, customized (built-in) cabinets, top quality granite, quartz, and stainless steel counter-tops, back-splashes, architectural lighting and hardware choices (cabinet knobs and hinges), including installing matching cabinetry door panels on professional appliances (i.e., Sub-Zero refrigerators, freezers, Miele dishwashers and True under-counter refrigerator). Mike can design and make cabinets from scratch in his shop using a variety of wood species, as well order top quality customized cabinets from various high-end suppliers too. With available options and materials for kitchen and bath cabinetry being virtually limitless, the experience of redesigning a kitchen project can be easily overwhelming for most. So having a professional with Mike's experience, patience and creative ideas was very helpful for us. He listened to our needs, worked diligently to provide us the best available within our budget, worked with us throughout the entire project from start to end, from initial design through final design and installation. While he could easily complete any job solely by himself, he was greatly helpful in helping me in a DIY project too, and instrumental in recommending highly competent independent carpenters, plumbers and electricians specific for our project needs. We were so impressed with Mike's help with our kitchen, that we used him again for a second project to install a kitchenette and full bath on a second story of detached garage. Mike's recommendations for installing black knotty alder wood cabinets was amazing and perfect for the rustic décor we wanted to achieve. Everyone loves them! You cannot find anyone more honest, trustworthy, experienced and nice to work with on your kitchen, bath and office cabinetry needs.

I could not have had a worse misfortune. In the time after the home was set, it became a fight about everything. Bryan and his staff passed the buck on many things on the finishing of the house and blamed it on their specs not being the same as the Kersey specs. When I called to ask Bryan what was taking so long to get the house finished, he reported that it was to be expected, despite his contractors only coming to work on finishing the house 4-6 hours a week. I'm almost sure this was done as retaliation for my questions and concerns, as he wasn't paying the construction loan, I was. This night mare came to an end after I called Beracah Homes directly to report what one of their preferred builders was doing to a customer and Bryan called and was irate that I called. After I moved in there was never a 90 day inspection and punch list that was promised in the contract. 3 years later I call to ask about warping of the front door and flooring problems and Bryan condescendingly informed me that "I was a homeowner and it was now my responsibility". I simply was looking for guidance on where to go with a warranty issue for a 3 year old front door and side lites that is warped. This is my experience and I hope you choose another builder that will treat you with respect and appreciation to build and finish your Berecah Home.
