I wasn't gonna post this at all, but if your child goes to BOSS BABIES IN FREEPORT, ya might wanna…read moretake em out. Unless you like you children drinking out of dirt sippy cups for an entire week straight. When I was washing the cups, the husband of the owner asked me if I was washing cups. I said "YEAH cus nobody else did & they been drinking out of dirty cups. That's nasty." He goes, "well we usually take the cups home every Friday & boil them & wash them". Oh okay so y'all only clean their cups once a week??? "Mrs. T" fired me because I called out sick twice & wasn't feeling well within my first week. Depsite the fact that we had a student that was sick earlier in the week. (Which was most likely a result of him drinking out of a dirty sippy cup). The preschool teacher also called out that 2nd day that I did...and that's why I was fired??? So you're understaffed, but you fire me because I wasn't feeling well??? Thankfully, I recorded myself cleaning the cups with week old food residue on them so if they try to lie, dassa dub. They're also VERY rough with the kids in the preschool class that I worked in. I've witnessed students being flipped off their cots to be waken up. I've even witnessed students getting "popped" by teachers out of frustration. Some of y'all from Breakthrough & RHS got kids in there so I'm really just tryna help fr. I stopped working there a month ago & didn't wanna shake the table, but what they're doing is not right. And they will not admit to any of these actions which is ultimately child abuse. I also know how messy you LI mamas are so send this to whoever you want. I really just want the best for ya kids cus I really grew to love them in the time I was there ~ Guya Rainey

This has been the most unimpressive daycare I have used in the Freeport/Baldwin area. Our foster…read morechild was there for 8 days and we have had no communication from them about his interactions in their program. They made zero attempts to say if he had a good or bad day. They have however reached out to DSS on multiple occasions instead of my wife or I to discuss his behavior. Today they decide to kick him out of their daycare and didn't have the courtesy to call us to discuss. We received a call from DSS to inform us of Boss Babies' call to them regarding his discharge. The lack of professionalism shown by the owner and her team of young and obviously untrained workers is truly disappointing and disrespectful. Obviously they are not very good at this choice of profession since they had to close their other location on Atlantic Ave in Freeport.

The directors love my children, the teachers love my children, and I trust that they are happy and safe there. I love that there is a curriculum, each week is a different theme. They learn Spanish and do yoga and exercise and learn the basics like letters, numbers, writing, etc. I love that there are cameras and you can watch what is going on throughout the day. Every teacher knows the children's names even if they aren't in that teacher's class. They take any concerns seriously. The facility is clean and neat and welcoming. No daycare is perfect, I assure you, but Lightbridge is perfect for us and I'm more than happy with the care my children are getting there.

You miss them and hope they are in good hands…read more I am so happy our neighbor recommended Lightbridge as they made the transition a lot easier than expected. Here are some of the highlights: - Cameras that you can watch all day to see your little one - Teachers and managers are amazing!!! - They read/sing to them and teach them new skills each day - group and individual play so she has learned to play by herself as well as with other babies. So cute. Our little one smiles when we pull into the parking lot ( as seen in picture) and that tells us everything! Thank you for making our 9 month old so happy.

Posting to inform parents considering Camp Coleman. I grew up going to Coleman and decided to…read moreenroll my two children this summer. At orientation, the camp owner saw my pre k child feeling nervous. My son hadn't even met his counselors before the camp owner decided it would be mandatory for me to hire a babysitter to babysit my son in order for him to attend camp. I calmly explained that my son can be shy especially in new surroundings. My suggestions for success for my child were completely dismissed and were met with smug comments and complete lack of empathy. It was shocking and disappointing to see Coleman heading in this direction. If you are considering Camp Coleman, I strongly advise going elsewhere, where ownership cares about your children and not just your check. What kind of camp is this!?

I got a chance to visit them last summer when my family took my little cousin there for a day tour. I was blown away by how much they've grown both in sheer size of the property and all of the cool features they've built. Walking from the parking lot brought back so many memories. It's kind of wild how your brain can instantly bring you back to specific moments from over 20 years ago. The wildest thing that I saw they had built was their new American Ninja Warrior Course. It wasn't any rinky dink diy job either... it felt like I was on the set of the actual show! All of the staff members I met were outstanding young men and women. They were all professional, polite, and enthusiastic about their job. I remember my counselors back in the day having those same qualities and it's clear that Coleman really hires good people. I accredit my current skills in swimming and archery to the wonderful instructions that I received day in and day out when I went. Looking at the prices, they've certainly gone up since I was little but everything sure has. I'm sure if you ask my parents, they'd tell you that it was worth the cost because when the bus dropped me off in the evening each day, I was very happy but also completely exhausted. I would eat dinner, head to my room, and knock out immediately. Prior to my camp days, getting a kid like me to bed was darn near impossible. If you're looking for a phenomenal camp for your child, I'd give them a call to explore your options or to simply learn more.
