Good for groups is complete b.s. we called over week ahead and asked if they would be able to accommodate our wedding party. They said yes, three hours before we were scheduled to arrive they called and left a voice mail saying that they wouldn't be able to take us and then proceeded to screen the brides calls. They finally answered when we called from another phone. I have never felt more disrespected by a restaurant in my life. That is horrible practice. read more

This place is amazing. Being from Southern California, we were not expecting to find such amazingly perfect Mexican food in the middle of Wisconsin. We ordered the lengua tacos, chili rellanos, and carnitas. The lengua was tender and succulent, the chili rellanos was amazing and the carnitas were perfect. it was their attention to details that puts this place over the top, the rice was fluffy yummy perfection and the salsa that came with the chips was delicious. And the service was personal and attentive without hovering over us, we will remember this meal for years to come and pine for a chance to return to Beloit . read more

Stopped here when we were passing through town, and we went based on other Yelp recommendations and were not disappointed. The food and service were excellent, and the guacamole was delicious, as noted here. As noted also, the portions are very generous and well-presented. My wife and I ordered some food from her for take-out. It took a long time for them to make the order, but they had some comfortable chairs to sit in while we waited. Additionally, they apologized for the long wait and offered us some free salsa! When we got home to eat our dinners, we noticed they did not include any chips with the free salsa - but I guess you can't complain if it was free. Nevertheless, I did have some chips at home and we tried it. I would rate the salsa a 5/10. My burrito was okay - nothing special, but not really all that bad either. I'd give it a 6/10. The beans it came with were absolutely horrible - nothing like I've ever seen before...less like beans and more like an odd colored liquid soup...0/10 for the beans. All in all, I can't say I was overly impressed. If this was the only restaurant in Beloit, I would probably visit it a few times a year. I have to admit that I prefer both Taco John's and Taco Bell over Little Mexico. read more

I love Mexican food and this small restaurant has the best salsa I have ever experienced. The steak fajitas were also fantastic - served on a hot platter with plenty of peppers, onions and tomatoes with beans, rice, glacamole, and sour cream on the side. Could only eat 1/2 but had a 2nd meal the following day. My wife and I will definitely be back! Forgot to mention, the price for both of us was ridiculously low. read more

Super quick, tasty, and inexpensive. We were driving through the area and need a quick, simple meal. We could have split the torta, it was huge. Semi good Mexican in Wisconsin. Been here about 4 times and it's all about what your taste is and what you order. Enchiladas are always good, salsa and frijoles fair. Ordered the Tampinquena plate twice now and the Carne Asada was overcooked both times. Your probably not going to find better in this neck of the woods but NOT close to So Cal, AZ or New Mex mexican food. read more

Great food i think it is the best mexican food in beloit friendly owners two there tacos are really good but the flour ones are to big for tacos shrimp tostados are amazing same with the fried ice cream desert and the torta cubanas are ok. The only thing i dont like about the place is that it dosnt have a mexican atmoshpere to it actually it kinda ugly escpicially the tablecloths and the atmosphere is the only thing that is not making this one of my favorite restaurants. read more
