How does this place have 4.5 STARS?? Inside is so dark, they don't play the tv's, no one was there, I asked for a beer for my husband and I AND SHE GAVE IT TO ME WITH THE BOTTLE CAP ON IT!!! Hahahahaahah, this is the first for me. Then this guy came out from the back cussing and complaining about stuff. The salsa sucks and I didn't dare order food. I am from AZ and know good service and Mexican food. Nope! I had the worst feeling in there. NO THANK YOU!!!! read more

Average American Mexican with a friendly and attentive staff which was so appreciated. Great Combos but not very much filling in the enchiladas and chimichangas but for the price it was ok. Chips were fresh and the hot salsa is super hot btw . Beans were pretty good as I appreciate not being mushy. read more

Here is another delicious restaurant to go to. Everything we had ordered was perfectly prepared, friendly service, very comfortable atmosphere, food was served and no one was talking because everyone at the table was too busy smacking and doing the "mmmmmmmmm," song as we were eating. Huge portions, the most delicious and tender steak that I have had in a long time and seasoned so well that you don't need anything on it at all. I definitely recommend this restaurant. You will not regret it. read more

Beloits new hidden gem! when I say everything, I legit mean everything is homemade in there! they have four different salsas ranging from mild-spicy perfect for people who like different variations. Food is always fresh! Ingredients are bright and full of flavor. Everyday they have some kind of special, Taco Tuesdays 3for$6 tacos , Fajita Wednesday $11.99 fajitas, Chimichangas Thursdays $9.99 chimis, Thirsty Thursdays buy 2 get 1 free on drinks , Fish Fryday , Sat & Sun they a $30 bundle that feeds 2-4 people. I mean its crazy how many good deals they have for the quality of food they serve! Give them a try and hopefully you wont be disappointed :) ps they recently changed their hours and are open for brunch now too!! very good pricing $10-$15 options and their Iced Horchata Latte is to dye for read more

When I walked in with my significant other, there were all these tables open but a huge party of people. The manager or owner or waiter whatever his position, was going to put us two at the table right next to the table with about 20 people at it, which was very noisy. I stopped him and asked them to put us at another table away from that table and they did. Had salsa with chips, the chips were good but salsa was very dull. My boyfriend had fajitas I had enchiladas and because I added meat to my enchiladas, they charged me for every choice of meat that I had put in the enchiladas. Our bill, I thought was overpriced at $67 mind you I had three alcoholic drinks on the bill. With the tip that was $78. I guess nothing's cheap anymore but honestly, I could've went to Janesville and had a better meal at any of the Mexican restaurants there so I would give it maybe 3 stars and a bit cheaper. Honestly I have had better. Thanks for letting me leave a review read more

Nice little Mexican restaurant. Very clean, atmosphere is great. Staff were friendly and food was hot and delicious!! I got the quesadilla ribeye and my friend got the Enchilada Rojas. The chips and salsa were fresh and the Modela was cold. Don't hesitate to stop in. I was very happy. read more

We had heard good things about this newish cantina in Beloit and we decided to give it a go. We went on a Saturday nite recently with another couple and expected delicious food, possible music and great company. We arrived to zero other patrons. This should have been our clue but we ignored that red flag and gave it a try. It's in a small mall and when we opened the outer door that leads to the inner door to the entrance the smell of mold hit us in the face, followed by smeary dirty glass doors. The server looked like she had just rolled out of bed and had zero personality and was not welcoming. I ordered the beef flautas. They were so dry I could nearly choke them down. The beans and rice tasteless. My man had enchiladas and they too were tasteless. Our friends had the taco dinner and both said they were ok. Everyone noted the chips were dry and stale and the salsa bland. Our friend had his heart set on Mexican ice cream and the serving was huge. It could have fed all 4 of us except it was regular ice cream not fried ice cream in a fried tortilla shell that came from a package. Worst meal I've had in Beloit. We literally were in and out in 45 mins. When we left, the homeless lady was sitting outside panhandling and I said,, "want my doggie bag", and she said, "no thanks." I guess she didn't care for their food either. Wont be back. read more

Was looking for a good Mexican food spot, something light to get me through until dinner time. Walked in to a beautiful interior and very welcoming. Ordered the quesadilla ribeye and it was DELICIOUS! The waiters and waitresses were very kind and were very helpful with deciding what to get! Will definitely be coming back again. read more

This new restaurant needs to get a great review. The staff was so polite and we had such great service. Our plan was to just try it and order a couple of tacos. They were the best that we have had and plan on returning for one of their dinner choices. The table next to us had this warmer on their table, so of course we had to ask what it was He told us the name (I can't recall the name) but he explained it's like surf and turf and it does have jalepenos in it. It looked wonderful. The menu has many great choices. It is located in the old shopko strip so a lot of parking. Many great drink choices, too. We have tried many Mexican Restaraunts, and this is our new favorite. Take note that they are not open until after 4 pm. Prices are within the normal range. It was busy when we were there, but there was plenty of seating. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. read more

We happened to be in Beloit and used Yelp to help us find an authentic Mexican food restaurant. Don't let the outside of the restaurant fool you - it's in a strip mall but the inside is decorated very well and once inside you don't remember what the outside looked like. What was inside was incredible - Yelp did not disappoint. Our service was excellent and our food was amazing. The verde salsa here is one of the best I've ever had. We enjoyed all kinds of menu items - tacos, quesadillas, fajitas, burritos, and enchiladas. We were not disappointed and the margaritas were excellent as well. I recommend this place and we will be back when we are in the area. Our friends who don't live far from here and had not tried this restaurant before said they will be back often. We were so hungry we did not take any pictures of the food and the smell of it when it was set down made us quickly devour their delicious Mexican food. read more

Excellent food and service....best hash-browns! My husband really enjoyed his chicken salad sandwich!

Decent place! Stopped here on our way out of town. Good margaritas and chips. Salsa is average. Fajitas were very good! Shrimp were huge! Chicken in the flautas and enchiladas were a bit dry, however the sauce and cheese were good. Good beans and rice as well. Recommend giving them a try. read more

Everything is always wonderful here. Service is on pint and friendly! Food is fantastic and drinks are perfect. Thank you

Fun atmosphere. There was a band when we were there on a Friday night. Loud, but talented. Fajitas were good. Service was exceptional.

Our new favorite Mexican place in the area! The drinks were very good, the food was amazing and the service was the best. The price was affordable and I had enough food for three meals in one order. The restaurant itself was clean and staff were so nice! We'll be back! read more

Amazing place. Not the best location as far as not being close to the street. An experienced marketer can alleviate some of that. Food is outstanding and service is top notch. If you've been there you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, you gotta give it a go. Tacos are great and margaritas are on point. read more

Steak burrito had no seasoning. Chicken chimichangas were dry and no sauce on them. The salsa tasted like canned tomatoes. Green sauce covering the burrito also tasted like it came out of a jar. Not impressed. read more
