For our move, we lost thousands in damaged and destroyed belongings. Their team loaded the truck in a way that looked just like the garbage compactor in Star Wars. They left, and the truck driver arrived and said, "There's no WAY your stuff is going to make it." When we called Little Justins Moving to voice the concern, they told us to wait to freak out upon arrival at our destination because... you never know, right? After all, these packers "are professionals." Needless to say, our stuff didn't make it intact. When we called Little Justins Moving to complain, they asked for receipts, pictures, and invoices. We provided everything. Then... they hung us out to dry, ignoring the rest of our calls and emails indefinitely. We next looked into suing them. Since we moved 2500 miles away, this was a hassle. But we had a lawyer send them a preliminary letter anyway. According to the lawyer, they ignored it. Then, we filed a complaint with the State's Attorney General's office. According to them, they were ignored, too. Can you imagine? The gall to ignore the highest legal office in the land? Then, we filed a complaint with our credit card company. They weren't going to reimburse us for the damaged belongings, but at least they could possibly refund a few hundred bucks for the packing cost that we didn't pay in cash. They said that we would only get refunded if Little Justins Moving ignored them, too. Of course, they did, and we got $300 in exchange for $13,000 in damage. Ultimately, after talking with everyone in this story (including several insurers in PA), most everyone guessed that the reason that this happened is because they are not insured. I don't know if that's true, but they sure behaved that way. My only hope is that this review will help someone else avoid what happened to us. These guys are amazing. Lenny and Aaron were the two-man crew who helped us today. Words can't do their work ethic justice. I effed up by not booking enough time, and I booked a UHaul that was too small for a one-and-done, but Lenny Aaron stayed until the job was complete. If your furniture is in good condition and you want to keep it that way, you might want to read this review. I used Little Justin's Moving in late July to load our 28' moving truck for an out of state move. I had rented moving blankets and tie down straps to help protect our belongings. They didn't use most of them, leaving our couch and expensive items unprotected. I have pictures documenting the unprotected couch, with a metal patio table digging into my beautiful sectional couch, with packs of unused moving blankets thrown on top! (see pic) Our couch is ripped and has black grease marks all over it, dressers are ruined with scratches and dents, dining set has the stain scraped off of it, a table snapped in half, many boxes were crushed flat (and they were heavy duty boxes), our chairs have holes in them from being punctured from other furniture. Just to name a few! The truck was not packed tight and looked like it was the back of a dumpster, with furniture and boxes just haphazardly tossed in on top of each other. I documented all of the damage with pictures. We were in contact with Lenny, the owner, for awhile via email. We provided him with receipts for our items and pictures of the damages. But as of late, they have ignored all communications with us and have not reimbursed us for any of the damages. Not to mention, we're also out the $900 we paid them in loading fees. We basically paid them to ruin our stuff! This previous reviewer was right that 13 must be their lucky number because our damages totaled $13,000! Now, the company won't return our emails. read more

Little Justin's quite literally saved our move! I had booked a container company that failed to deliver the container on the day that it was promised. Lenny had been booked to help us load the container. Not only did they move an apartment's load of furniture, they stayed on call when our container didn't show up. At the end of the day we were frantic in trying to come up with a remedy to all our furniture in a parking lot! Lenny helped us get a rental truck and helped us load it several hours after he should have been "off the job". He was our savior, and we would still be sitting on a curb in Allentown without his "above and beyond " efforts. I was contacted by Little Justins Moving a day prior to the scheduled job and then the morning of the scheduled job, the two guys Lenny and Kevin called to provide a status on their ETA. As they were driving 2 hours to get to my house, I appreciated their ETA updates. I had scheduled them for 5 hours initially but they were able to get everything completed in 3 hours. This was a labor only job and they worked non-stop from the time they arrived to the time they left. They even fixed a broken shelf in my shed and truly, I can't say enough good things about their professionalism, service and work. They even hauled away 90% of the stuff I would have had to otherwise arranged to be picked up which was an unexpected bonus. Lenny and Kevin were awesome and truly fantastic. We had a great experience when we moved in early August. We used Little Justin's for both loading and unloading a 28' truck. I read through some other reviews on Yelp, and some people seem to have had a problem with damage. In our case, there was no damage at all. Absolutely nothing was damaged or even dinged. Nothing even shifted during transit, and we had the truck loaded to the hilt. We were actually worried about needing another truck but the guys at Little Justin's told us not to worry. They could tell just by looking (at the very beginning even) that they would be able to fit everything. We moved a three bedroom house at a price that was simply unbeatable. They were friendly, funny, and worked non-stop for the hired time. They also arrived promptly at the scheduled time, which was extremely important for us. We were so pleased with the service and the price that we added a tip -- and it was still under budget! We would recommend Little Justin's to anyone who needs movers. Also, if you're considering movers and aren't sure it's worth the expense, IT'S WORTH IT. Especially at the reasonable rates this company charges. Buyer beware! If I could give no stars, I would. This company is a total scam. Positive reviews on other sites are written by the company. Yelp would detect repeat reviews from the same person and flag them, which is why you don't see that on here. (Update, 9/1/16: A positive review recently appeared and Yelp deleted it. Little Justin's can scam on other sites like UHaul, but not on Yelp.) This company "moved" my one bedroom apartment plus storage area in an attic 1 hour and 35 minutes to the Philadelphia area. It took THREE guys SEVENTEEN hours to the tune of almost $3000. Why? They found ways to "add" time, like choosing to park the truck way across the street even though I cleared the street in front of my place. I paid for THREE movers and they sent a minor of age on the crew who worked on moving until 3AM. Not only was I expecting an adult, but I worried because legally they should not send someone of that age out to work at that time. He still had to drive back to Lancaster with the crew after the move and told me after the move he would work at 7am. I guess THIRTEEN is a lucky number, because they broke that many valuable items. This does not include the tens of minor items they broke or "lost." Let's start with the big stuff: 1. I have a Danish mid-century modern teak cabinet/chifforobe. The movers were instructed of its value in advance and asked to handle it with care. I was shocked. They ripped the bottom off of it. 2. They destroyed my bed frame. The panels are cracked and it is unstable. 3. I had a contractor's bag with my smaller sofa pillows. They untied and opened the bag and removed the pillows to use them as padding in the truck!!! All of the pillows were stuffed with down and two had pillowcases made of silk. The silk pillowcases are now covered in stains and grease. 4. They broke off the leg from a wooden end table I inherited from my great-grandmother. 5. A West Elm wide, leather chair was pressed up against the metal on the truck and scratched all over the back. 6. Another bottom-heavy mid-century modern leather chair was picked up by the wooden arms instead of by the bottom thereby ripping the arms out and cracking the wood. 7. I had a box for one of my two flatscreen TVs with all of the packing Styrofoam in it. One of the movers removed all of the Styrofoam and threw the TV upside down into the box and transported the box open. Therefore, a piece of plastic cracked off the bottom of the TV. 8. They disassembled a storage/kitchen rack and lost all of the segments that hold it together. 9. I explained to them to be careful with the brush metal trashcans because they can dent. Of course, they showed up dented! 10. The sofa showed up covered in stains and I saw them dragging it on the sidewalk. 11. They treated my mini love-seat with even less respect than the sofa. It is covered in stains and all of the upholstery is worn off the corners from being dragged. It was left in the middle of the floor for me to move because the shelving units were not operable on which to put boxes. (All the backs conveniently "fell off" during transit.) 12. They "lost" the bottom seat area to one of my dining room chairs. 13. They extremely nicked up a West Elm wooden chair and two wooden bookcases. An unbelievable amount of my things were affected. So many items were affected that it would have been much less expensive to get new things for my new place and to hire these terrible movers! So many small items were destroyed or ruined, too: I have plastic storage unit--they took it apart and lost a part to it, so it is no longer usable. I had a small, assemblable shelf in my closet--they lost a part to that, too. I transported an IKEA bookcase that I was going to give to my friend's son. They took giant chunks out of the corners. I have a piece of wooden furniture that they ripped up on the bottom, but they glued at my new house. My gas grill cover is ripped and shredded. The foreman said he or the owner would call me the next day because their "insurance" will cover some of these things. No one called to address these issues. I emailed them and called them several times and I have been met with silence. My next step to send a demand letter and then to report them to the appropriate authorities. But you, dear future move-planner have a choice! Stay away from Little Justin's in Lancaster area. One more note: They wrecked the moving truck into my mother's car and destroyed the headlight and part of the bumper was destroyed. They didn't tell her, but several neighbors reported it. read more

They took all my issues (things completely out of their control: terrible weather, a delay in the shipment getting to them, and then another delay when the incoming truck broke down) and made them seamless to me. There is no rating which is low enough. In fairness, they were a last minute choice due to the fact that my pre-arranged mover did not show. That being said, there is no excuse for their total lack of professionalism. I gave a inventory to a middle man who may not have gotten it all to the mover but, they came with the same size truck everyone else was going to use. They thought that they were done when the truck was "full", not when all your things were loaded! They were going to leave at that point and.......tough cookies. They were convinced to re-pack in order to get more in but, not before they threatened to leave in 30 minutes done or not! Still, they left a dryer, trash compactor and other things behind to do so. After they left, I discovered they had left my daughters bed, a decorative table, an antique chair and many personal items behind. In fact, they left their own tools. In the past, movers that I used packed everything and walked me through the house to assure all was gone. This guy could not care less. He charged 50% more than the quotes I had gotten and unfortunately, was paid in advance by the realtor (who should have known better). Is that the end of the story? NO! The mover delivered to a storage facility where, once again, things were poorly packed necessitating hours of work to get additional things in. Of course, lots of things were damaged. I forgot to mention that, during the move, I had friends there who were assisting me and the mover. Because of Len's attitude, it became a hostility festival and nearly degenerated in to a fight. He was inconsiderate, nasty and rude. Those were his good points. In summary, I had one mover go out of business with my deposit, one who did not show up at the last minute and the one described above. Be real careful in selecting a mover. This company loaded everything from my 2 bedrooms apartment into a 26' Uhaul truck. I could not have been happier with the service and the value! As suggested, I booked 2 movers for 3 hours and everything was done pretty much right on time! They went over by about 10 minutes by the time we finished with paperwork, but they just charged for the flat 3 hours. All of my belongings were very well handled and the truck was packed perfectly! I had a mattress and box spring that I was getting rid of and the movers even took them down to the dumpster for me. Really great experience! read more

Little Justin's Moving Company, was AWESOME to work with. I asked for 4 guys for 3 hours to move all the furniture in my 3 bedroom two story house to my new two story house 5 miles away on one of the Hottest days of the year. (7/23/16) They showed up on time, were courteous and very careful with all my furniture. They took apart and put back together 2 dressers and 2 queen size beds. They moved large shelving units up a small staircase to the 2nd floor, maneuvering with out much trouble. As I did run over the 3 hour time allotted they never said we got to go now, they just kept working (darn hard mind you in the heat), until all my furniture was off the 26ft truck (which was packed tight). We needed labor to help unload a truck we had rented to move a one bedroom apartment from North Carolina to Bethlehem. I tried two other local companies that provided labor, neither of which followed up with us as promised in calls/emails. I found Little Justins, which did respond to questions both by phone and email and booked our move at a reasonable cost. I was promised we would get a call the morning of the move to confirm guys were on the way and this promise was kept. Seth and Lee showed up a bit early, ready to go, and unloaded us within two hours. They worked without a break and did the move without any problems and without even scuffing the narrow hall going up our one flight of stairs. Heavy items were lifted and delivered without complaint and they were friendly and businesslike. I can't say enough about Seth and Lee and about Little Justins. The most important part of a move is reliability, showing up on time and doing the work without issues. Little Justins delivered on both counts. read more
