I recently used Brody Moving, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The team was exceptionally professional, courteous, and handled all of my belongings with the utmost care. Jason Brody and his staff were highly communicative and good natured. His movers worked with efficiency, and made what is usually a stressful process completely seamless. Worth the reasonable fee. If you are looking for reliable, value oriented, and top-notch movers who truly know what they're doing, I can't recommend Brody Moving highly enough. Five stars all around! read more

Jason Brody will chew you out and make you feel like crap when his movers damage your walls, furniture, or are running late; and God forbid you have the "audacity" to speak up for yourself. He will falsely accuse you of lying after you state simple facts. Jason is an a***hole and needs to get out of the moving business, because it's obvious he really hates his vocation and especially hates his customers and treats them like crap (unless of course everything goes super smoothly, which for moving rarely does, and you pay him green cash only). Hey IRS! Jason only wants cash!! He hates checks! Gee, I wonder why?? read more

Professional, quick to respond via text or call, very reasonably priced. They showed up on time, walked through and just executed everything very well, the team was professional, super polite and treated items as if they were their own. My parents used them, I've recommended them to friends who also had positive experiences with them, and now myself..... I will continue to recommend them. read more

You will pay for exscuse instead of what you were promised. Aviod this company like the plage! First of all I was quoted for a 3 story apartment move coming from a second floor apartment so the owner had full disclosure. To start off they were supposed to arrive at 9am and came a whole hr earlier so I wasn't able to finish cleaning the last few things like I needed. Second off im being told by the owner who came to my house and saw my home and moving boxes before the move mind you that they could still do the move period! Fast forward to the end of the move when the owner calls me up and asked if im satisfied i say no and he immediately goes into defending his team of movers as if he didn't already agree to move my home and boxes with full disclosure. To talk about the unprofessional exscuses that I had to listen to over the phone was seriously concerning given the fsct you knew what was up well in advance. To be honest this company gives more exscuses than my 13yr old daughter in an entire yr! I raise my kids in the sense of if they say they are going to do something they do it period point blank! To say this company delivered is an understatement I got exscuses from the owner anywhere from "these boxes are to heavy" to "this item was dirty" to this won't fit on that floor. Like I stated I paid for 3rd floor services with the so called heavy boxes you witnessed while agreeing to do the move. What I received was movers who didn't even attempt to take furniture to the the third floor movers who didn't even attempt to take so called heavy boxes up they steps and several items in the wrong rooms despite labeling everything perfectly clear and giving guided directions on multiple occasions. The owners exsuse was anything from "oh the men are tired they did a lot" to this box you daid wasn't going up" mind you i labeled which heavy ones were not going upstairs. If i can loft them 5 months pregnant with twins these so called heavy boxes your exsuse is null and voided. I didn't pay for an exscuse of "oh they are tired" when I was promised they would attempt to fit and attempt to take everything to the appropriate floor. When I tell you the boxes they left downstairs were not that heavy and I had to move solid wood dresses to the third floor 5 months pregnant with twins. Im telling you now save your money cause im not about to be made to feel bad over something being dirty when I plan for you to arrive at the time you say not a whole hr earlier. The exscuses are pathetic.... But to sit here and start threatening a pregnant single mother of twins plus 3 girls is completely unprofessional guys please aviod this company. Instead of them making things right he double down in his nonsense! And now im being threatened with pictures are you kidding me! Guys please do not use this company!! I've posted a photo of the accounts with my original reviews. He had every chance to walk off the job with his team but was happy to take my money and now he wants to threaten me with photos as if they couldn't have just left but it wasn't really that bad. *** update**** I finally received an apology from another team member and an offer to come and finish the job along with an $800 wavier. I let this person know all I wanted was the job done right from the beginning I accepted the $800 waiver and declined them retuning to my home as me and my kids do not feel comfortable with anyone from Brodys moving coming back. I have assistance from my home health aid who will complete the job. I did let him know i would post again acknowledging the $800 waiver and offer to finish. With that being said I was assured the photos would not be posted so we will see. I appreciate this team members apology and kindness however I believe this post is necessary for anyone who may have health issues or situations similar to mine. *Oh and I was told the post has to be removed b4 they come back...im good! Now the owner wants to sue me for $800 as he trying to take back his word via text where he originally text I can keep my review plus the $800 see text messages below. What a joke of a company. *** update**I will be pursuing harassment charges against the owner and his other team member for Harassment since they will continue to bother me in may after this issue was already resolved. I Never met an Owner who agrees to let the issue go then get another employee to harass me after the fact. I dont have to let them back in my home after the fact period. Im not so sure why they think there entitled to come back after all the threats they made to me and after all this harassment!! Have they both lost there mind? They think they are going to strong arm me like the mafia well i got news for them pregnant or not IM NOT THE ONE! They had already been told to leave me alone at this point after the owner forfited the $800. This constitutes harassment! THEY REALLY think suddenly they can undo the forfited money that was forfited at this point days ago. read more

We had Brodie move us on 8/12/21. Their team of seven people was the greatest. It was a mid 90's day, and there was a lot of sweating going on, but these guys kept the atmosphere light and joked among themselves and with us. We truly appreciated that, because moving is stressful enough. In addition, the team was very accommodating in placing the furniture where we wanted it and even moving it again as we adjusted things to our new home. They were extremely careful with the furniture and didn't mark any walls, either in the old house or the new one. I would recommend Brody Moving Services to anyone in this area. They are a first rate company, and their pricing was reasonable. read more

I recently hired Brody Moving Company to move my three bedroom townhouse. The cost for this move was estimated to be between $1650 and $1850. All of my belonging were boxed and ready for Brody when they got there. They did have to disaasemble a bed and a large entertainment center. The day of the move the crew arrived at 8:27 and not 8 am as indicated. It took a 3 man crew 4 1/2 hours to clear out my house which filled the 26' truck about 2/3 of the way. They arrived at my new home around 2:30. Upon unloading the crew was unable to get some of my excersize equipment nor an oversized desk into the house. They all reside in my garegae for now. By 5:30 they were gone. This after the owner informs me that I now own them $2,300!!!!! Two weeks after my move I have found numerous pieces of my furniture scratched, gouged, and noticably worse for wear after havin this company move me. What stands out most to me is that at least 5 times during the day I was told to "call any other mover" I wanted if I felt I was being treated unfairly. That and the two helpers standing at the truck looking aimlessly into it from the street. I've moved residences many times in 65 years. Whether by friends and family, a large national mover, or local business; I have never had such a negative experience with a moving company. I would most adamantly recommend you seek another company! read more

For my first time moving on my own, I decided to contact Brody Moving Services after a recommendation from a friend. They were super responsive and got back to me via text, which was great for someone who HATES talking on the phone. After texting with an employee about my moving needs, I was given a quote that they stuck with, even after having to move additional items I didn't include. They even helped with disassembling and assembling of my difficult IKEA bed frame. I will definitely use Brody for my next move. read more

I'm very happy with my experience using Brody Moving Services. This was the first time we had a budget for movers and I contacted upwards of 10 in the Harrisburg-Lancaster-Lebanon-York-Reading region. Brody had not only the best price, but also some factors I found important. Their quote was a professional report that was returned to me quickly. They also have their own vehicles, which a surprising number of companies don't. The crew of 3 made quick work of loading our 2 bedroom Lancaster city apartment, all in about 1.5 hours. They were ready with all the right tools for the job on the destination end of our move, more than 100 miles away. They had adequate dollies and carts so that things were unloaded just about as quickly as they went on the truck. In addition to the crew being an affable group of guys, we discovered they had moved some oversized and odd items for someone else we know - so it seems like they'll take on just about any job they can and do it professionally. read more

I was happy with J&J Moving, very professional and stayed true to their quote. When most companies are closed on Sunday J&J was more than happy to unload my U Haul fore as I move from out of state. We were very pleased and grateful for the service Jason Brody and his crew did moving our furniture. On time, very careful and respectful with our furniture. They worked with such unison and speed. I have never seen such teamwork, trust and communication in order to get the job completed. We would definitely recommend them to anyone. read more

I highly recommend Jason and his team to help you move. They assist with the disassembly, moving, and re-assembly of all your large furniture inside and outside. They were prompt, got right to work and completed the job in less time than I anticipated. The estimate was right on point, and each mover was courteous, careful and made sure to ask where to place everything (and didn't just "put" things down). I can tell these guys care about the customer, and they understand moving day is hectic and stressful on their customers. They will even go out of their way to help with little things, asking me if they could lend a hand on small stuff. They wrap everything and pack the truck well. read more

I recently had a BRody moving team help me with a move. The crew was quick, efficient and very professional. If you are in need of a moving company, no matter how big or small, Brody Moving Services are exceptional! We had a very unusual moving situation with some heavy freight on wooden pallets. After a few calls to other companies 'with zero results', Jason came to our rescue. Jason and his professional team moved our heavy 'fragile' freight with white-glove care. They went above and beyond for this unusual moving request, we could not have been more pleased. We highly recommend their services and will defiantly call them FIRST, for all our future moving needs. read more

I and my family have used these gents many times. Just recently I had an unpleasant experience with another moving company that sent inexperienced men to do a challenging job. They struggled for hours and were unable to complete the job I contracted them for. BrodyMovingServicesLLC came and completed the job in under 30 minutes. I can't recommend them enough. Nice guys, professional and timely. Keep them in business! read more

Yesterday, Jason sent a crew out to help us organize our storage, and deliver a couple items to a refinished, and they were great. Today, they were supposed to come and pack our own truck with our 3 bedroom apartment. Yesterday, we asked them to come at 8 am. Jason wanted to come at 7:30 am, so we said we would try. We have been fighting like fire all morning, even through an injury where I had to go to the doctor again yesterday for an operation. Because we couldn't get the truck and get back by 7:30 am, Jason chewed us out. Moving is already extremely stressful, much less a moving company freaking out because we are running behind by 30 mins. Jason complained that he had to pay his movers for those 30 minutes, we offered to pay him the difference. This was not enough for him. He was absolutely unprofessional to the point that the job had to be canceled. There is no way that I would recommend this moving company. Furthermore, Jason made the statement that "we only move for nice people, and your not nice people." First off, that is a terribly unprofessional statement. Secondly, when we are getting chewed out for 30 minutes lateness, as the customer, who is offering to pay the difference, of course we are going to stick up for ourselves. There is no way that we are going stand here and be chewed out by a mover. There are plenty to pick from in this county. read more

Great company. Personable, hard working, communicative, efficient and careful. We've used them a few times and been very happy with the work and the service, from random boxes full of papers to fine antiques, they've shown up and done an excellent job. read more

Don't rely on their "quotes " for pricing. Very disrespectful and unprofessional.

We've used J&J twice and will be using them again for my parents in the near future. They're accommodating, they work fast and none of our items were damaged, which is all you can ask for out of a moving company. They're actually so nice that my wife couldn't find a reason to yell at them which is a minor miracle. The day after our move last week, they were even willing to pick up a hot tub we were being given and deliver it to our new house which I'm guessing is outside of the scope of services they normally provide. They are great at what they do. read more

I used J and J Moving earlier this year to move a room of furniture, including a very heavy server, and was very happy with their service. Moving, under any circumstance, is a trying time for most people. There is always an emotional component when one leaves a familiar place and begins a new life adventure in another location. Add to that the predictable stress of having personal items of great value and sentimental importance packed up by strangers, stored in a truck, and then driven away out of sight. I don't often write reviews, but I am compelled to publicly disclose the incredibly good experience I just had with the men of J &J Moving. First of all, they took the time to introduce themselves and throughout the move shared certain things about themselves and their families. By the end of the day I felt as though they were actual acquaintances I knew pretty well, as opposed to three guys with a truck. They care they took handling the furniture and the many boxes was perfect--they did the things I would have done myself had I been packing my belongings. I especially liked the way they constantly consulted with each other on the best way to load and secure the larger pieces of furniture. They took the time to look at every possibility before deciding on the best course of action. Without being intrusive, they inquired about the actual contents on boxes marked "fragile" to insure the best location in the truck. How awesome is that? Throughout the entire move they were professional, cautious with my belongings, and conducted themselves as perfect gentlemen. There is at least one more move in my future that will take place sometime next year. When that time arrives I will be calling the guys at J & J. I simply won't trust my belongings to anyone else--and if you're anywhere near Lancaster, Pennsylvania, neither should you. Highly recommended! read more

I called these movers a couple weeks before we needed to move since we had a couple companies bail on us. My first phone call with them they assured me they can get the job done by the time we needed. They showed up on time, had a great attitude, and moved all of our stuff in lighting speed. I can not say enough good things about them we will definitely be using them when we have to move again in 6 months!!! Called at 9am with a problem job. Our original movers said they couldn't get one of our sofas into the house...so it's been sitting in the garage for 6 months. It's Noon now and the job is done. I'm bringing them back next week for some hauling. read more

Very happy with the service we got from J&J Moving. These guys moved us into our home last year and we plan to use them again this year. They were very polite and professional well beyond what you would expect from a moving company. The two guys took great care with all our furniture and paintings and managed to get the job done in much less time than expected. They even removed an enormous home gym from our basement when they finished moving our stuff into the house because it would have been in the way for our kids to play. Everything was organized in the rooms and they were a great help reassembling our beds and table. read more

Not recommended. The movers were friendly and worked hard on a hot day, but in the process of moving me from Lancaster to York they damaged walls in my old home AND my new home, they damaged several antiques that they transported without wrapping and, worst of all, they hid several large items in my old home so that they wouldn't have to move them. I found them after the fact and had to make nearly 10 trips myself to get everything moved. The owner first accused me of lying, then reluctantly agreed to a small refund for my trouble. It was not enough to cover the cost of repairs to the damage his team caused. Also, he quoted me a price that included TWO trucks and TWO teams, but when he only used one truck and one team, he still charged me for the full price. Finally, after giving me a small refund, he assumed I would give him 5-star reviews ... he basically asked me to lie to future customers. No can do. Since then, he has been harassing me by phone and email. read more
