They were not overpaid by any means EXCEPT that they damaged almost every piece of my best furniture in a 4 mile move. For instance: Guest bedroom box spring and mattress (scraped off fabric on edge/corner and dirty from dragging even though it was in a UHAUL mattress/box protector), Living room couch (dirt on back of couch from footprint? & metal gliders yanked out of couch legs by dragging) TV cabinet, (at least 9 half-dime or larger dings to the moldings and edges & metal gliders yanked out), Master bedroom bedside table 1 (large wide scrape to the finish on top), Master bedroom bedside table 2 (several nicks/dings), Master bedroom cedar chest (large gouge to side). The contents of at least one box were shattered - it was pottery that was very special to me - There are many boxes I have not yet opened - be aware they do not guarantee boxes will not be damaged. They did not properly wrap furniture before putting it on the dolly. I should have insisted that we look carefully at all pieces of furniture before they left, but Matt Toney was in a big hurry to "get the truck back". My foolish mistake.

I need to start by saying my wife and I suffer from bad-mover PTSD. I'm certain our…read moremoving-experience horror stories can top 99% of the moving horror stories out there. Given that, we were hyper-diligent during our selection process. We read as many reviews as possible before contacting any prospective movers. Once we narrowed the field, we asked two moving companies to visit and provide a quote. Weaver was one of them. Tony from Weaver drove 3 hours to provide our quote. He and I walked the entire property identifying each item that was to move and those that were not. Tony made recommendations along the way regarding best practices for packing certain items as well as informing me about certain items that were not eligible to ship on their truck. We then sat down and Tony walked me through the quote process as well as the move process, should his company be chosen. I asked a lot of questions and Tony had plenty of answers. I received Tony's quote the next day. Tony's quote was 30% lower than the other guy. My wife and I felt comfortable with the Weaver quote, so we selected them. During the downtime between selection and the move, Tiffany sent me regular reminders to make sure we were well prepared for move day. The day of the move, a team of 3 showed up. Darryl, Nick and Ryan showed up exactly on time. Darryl introduced himself, as well as the other two men on the team. I walked Darryl around and showed him the task at hand. I should mention, my wife and I have accumulated a lot of stuff over the past 23 years, so this wasn't going to be a cake walk for the Weaver team. Once the team got the lay of the land, they got quickly to work. No BS, no phones out, just heads down and working. Their pace was extraordinary. I ordered lunch for the team, and they barely stopped moving long enough to take a few bites and keep loading. It should be noted that these gentlemen started their day very early. They arrived in the early AM after a 3-hour drive. By midday they had loaded an enormous portion of the house. By the end of the first day, they had loaded everything but the garage. In this day and age when a strong work ethic is almost impossible to find, it was incredible to see three men perform so much work. I stuck round for a while to do some light cleaning, and inspect the walls for any scuffs or dings that needed to be repaired, (there were none). I then headed to the hotel for the night. The Weaver team was back at it early the next day. They wrapped up before 11:00 AM on day 2. Darryl and I reviewed the house to make sure nothing had been left behind and once confirmed, the Weaver team hit the road. One of the selling points for my wife and I was the fact that we would have the same team loading and unloading. We had worked with movers who brought on contract workers to unload at the destination. Take my word for it, that's a nightmare scenario. It was comforting to know Darryl, Nick and Ryan would be unloading our belongings at our new home. Immediately following the closing, my wife and I headed over to the new house and met Darryl and team. The universe had brought us rain that day, so the Weaver team was going to be challenged with the elements as well as the weight of the load they had delivered. They got straight to work protecting our house from the wet weather. The floors and carpets were all quickly covered with some form of protection. Once the protection was in place, the Weaver team quickly began unloading. We had an extra team member, Graham, today to help speed things up. The Weaver team quickly and carefully put everything in place. I'm happy to say that we haven't opened a single box with a damaged item. My wife has an extensive collection of crystal, and I have a large collection of cobalt-blue glass that belonged to my mother that all arrived unscathed. No dents in the walls at either house, no nicks in the furniture, no missing items. What a relief. If you're part of the sad, pathetic population of people who have been taken advantage of by unscrupulous moving companies, or if you're just looking for an amazing mover that will take the stress out of the process, Weaver is the team for you. I can't recommend them enough. First class from the office to the field.

He and Pam answered my many questions and were a tremendous help throughout. When Austin and Connor showed up on moving day, they were professional, kind, respectful, personable, prompt, and patient causing all of my stress to totally evaporate. They were very honoring as they listened to my concerns and accommodated my wishes. They worked diligently, efficiently, carefully, thoughtfully, and without complaint as they moved heavy items up and down stairs, loaded and unloaded the truck. Austin, Connor, Jim, and Pam all contributed to an extremely positive moving experience. I give Geo W Weaver the maximum amount of stars allowed as my recommendation!!

Steve was attentive and responsive to all of my calls and e-mails leading up to the move, almost immediately. I felt like an important customer! He was courteous and accommodating, explaining everything I needed to know for our giant move. We had thought at first that we would just hire Marathon to load our things onto an ABF trailer, but after meeting Steve and realizing we could trust him, we gave him the whole task! Moving day was tough. We had three floors of furniture and boxes AND a basement. Skinny stairs to maneuver. Tight corners. The guys worked hard and got 'er loaded. Steve kept me updated while they drove south with our belongings. Move-in day we were handed a monsoon rain storm to work in! The guys stayed cheerful and positive the whole time. This is the important thing to me: kind men who I feel I can trust, keeping a great attitude while working hard. And all of our things arrived safely. I'm so very grateful to Steve and the guys.

I have been waiting since July 2025 to receive my refund for damages to my furniture and wall done during a move. I should have canceled the TV mount service being that I used. He caused a 55 inch TV to almost fall on me due to another improper installation. Which caused damage to the wall. It is now May 2026 and still nothing we had originally agreed per emails and text. All he kept saying was that I cause damage to his business. Instead of taking accountability and fixing the issue. Dwayne is not to be trusted. I would never recommend anyone to hire this company to do anything. Update: I was asked by the owner Dwayne Wolfe to remove my review in order to receive my refund. It has been over 2 months now since our last email conversation. Dwayne Wolfe is not honest nor professional. I have been waiting since July 2025 to receive my refund for damages to my furniture and wall done during a move. I should have canceled the TV mount service being that I used his TV mount service before and that TV wasn't mounted correctly then. This time, I tried to give him a second chance only to have a 55inch TV almost fall on me due to another improper installation. Which caused damage to the wall. It is now February 2026 and still nothing we had originally agreed per emails and text. Original Review: Last year, I had Dwayne and his crew move me from Lancaster Pa to Manchester PA. The move was great they took very good care of my Antique furniture and other containers. So because of that I reached out to Dwayne to handle my move to Alabama with a stop on the way in Maryland to pickup my partners things. Upon arrival she was told that everything may not fit. Which was very unprofessional when there was more than enough room for her things to fit. Especially, when the truck had more than enough room if packed correctly. Once they began packing all had fit and what small things didn't go we packed in the car. As we got closer to evening Dwayne advised that he was going to get a hotel and arrive to the house in Alabama in the morning. We arrived to the house at 9am and no call, text, or email from Dwayne. We went to get breakfast still no call, text,or email. I called while at breakfast and was told by Dwayne that the helpers woke up late and they will be at the house by 12pm. Upon their arrival at 2pm (5 hours late), Dwayne called and advised they were at the house and decided to unload the truck in the driveway. As we pulled up to the house from picking up cleaning supplies and water for the guys we noticed our stuff on the driveway like it was a garage sale or something. It was so unprofessional and disappointing to see. Then, after they moved the things into the house Dwayne seemed frustrated and annoyed when I asked about him installing the TV's and assembly of the beds which was part of the agreement. He proceeded to install the bed and TV's. He seemed to struggle to install a TV wall mount and TV on the wall. Then, I went out to the hardware store to pick up more proper screws for the TV mount. Not sure what he did with the screws he removed in Manchester for the same mount. All the screws were packed and labled to make the installations smooth. But while I was gone he assembled 1 queen frame and a twin futon. When I came back they placed the TV on the wall and I looked at everything that wasn't till wrapped in plastic. They brought in the final piece of furniture. It was completely destroyed. I told them to leave it in the Garage. He decided to leave it right at the entrance of the garage door. So I had to move it to the side wall myself. He said it was fixable and its not. We went to sleep woke up the next morning sat back on the bed and the bed shifted with a loud bang. Noticed that the bed wasn't properly assembled screws missing and loose. I immediately checked everything. The twin bed was missing screws and shifting left and right. My antique coffee table was scuffed in mutiple places, dinning table scuffed, dressers scuffed, bed frame chipped and scuffed, some China plates cracked and destroyed, desk missing a part, screws checked and noticed screws were loosened and had to be tightened and the motor bar was disconnected, computer monitor mount was chipped like it was dropped on the ground. I was emailed by Dwayne to sent photos was told by email that they did their best and I would be fully compensated. I'm still waiting.
