My only complaint is that it was served on plastic containers even though we ate in. I know dish washing adds another level of work, so this is just my own pet peeve. (The geeky GOT and Hobbit maps on the wall are an interesting addition).

We stopped in while out on a nice summer drive last week. Stopped in despite it looking run down because the online reviews on yelp were so good. I now see that it's all friends/family/people with vested interests in the business that commented. Our waitress, a middle aged blonde was unfriendly and unwelcoming. There are only 3 tables in the restaurant. One other table had people. They were treated much better than us, being asked how their food was, if they needed anything, if their order was correct. None of which was asked of us. Meatball sub had ice cold sauce and extremely dry meatballs, came with no side. A "manager" came out and asked the other table how their food was, while we sat in silence feeling so awkward. Couldn't get out of there soon enough. Save your money. It's disgusting! read more

I'm a regular here, the ingenuity and freshness of the dishes the come from this restaurant are beyond what you would expect from a little town "deli." The seating area is rich with family photos from the owners and with just a few questions you get a full and lively history of the family that started it and their roots in every dish.
