On my first visit in tnis fabulous gem of a Boutique, I was warmly greeted by Emma and given a…read moreterrific orientation to the store. Shortly after, Karin the owner arrived and between the 2 of them, I had exceptional service. Wonderful range of clothing, excellent quality and well-spaced so you can easily look at the pieces at your leisure. And a great soundtrack playing in the background made for a fab visit. Looking forward to my next visit....

This is a great little consignment shop tucked away on Waterford Bridge Road…read more On our last trip into St. John's, we were staying just up the street from this little spot and on a walk into town, decided to pop in the door. Immediate danger zone - within two minutes of walking in, I had found two pairs of shoes in my size (8... usually impossible to find in consignment) and a dress that turned my head, my cohort in crime found a cashmere sweater for $40 and my mother chirped from each room about one thing or another. It's a great selection of stuff, with some great brand names behind it - they obviously have a good eye for what they select. It's also well laid out over two stories - well lit, clean and packed without being cluttered. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth poking your head in to see what you might find. As far as I could tell, it seems to be only women's fashions but I may have missed a section while I was shoe hunting through the store.

Dear Previously Loved owner:…read more I know you think that not having changing rooms will make people buy more because they won't want to have to drive all the way back to exchange it, but actually what you're doing is selling less because most people don't want to take a risk on buying something unless they know it fits. If someone was on the fence about buying something, they might just buy it if they knew it fit. I was in the other day and tried to buy jeans but I couldn't. I was prepared to get 3 pairs. I left with 0 pairs because jeans need to be tried on. I stripped in the aisle to try on one pair and people were obviously uncomfortable. So, frustrated, I dropped everything and left with nothing. I'll just go buy some new jeans, but I could have got them from you. At this point the first place to offer me a changing room can take all my money. You guys don't have an "online shop". You're only an in-person store. So you can't use the same strategy as new clothing stores and force everyone to shop for your products online. All that's going to happen is people are just going to shop entirely online from other stores, and you will gradually sell less and less. Bring back changing rooms. Don't be lazy and manipulative. If you expect people to try on clothes in the aisles, then you'll be picking up after them anyway, so you can't use the excuse that the changing rooms require maintenance because you need to maintain the store regardless. Bring back changing rooms. You are a clothing store. People will come just for that.

Nothing has changed here in several, several years. There's still GARBAGE being priced at ridiculously high prices. There's still stuff on the shelves that's been there for the last 8 years. There's still NLC promo glasses with $5 price tags... Here's an idea - and I'll keep it simple - Pull your heads out and have a 50% off everything in the store sale. Or 80%. On EVERYTHING. 99 times out of 100 it's NOT TREASURE. Get rid of all the old crap, and let the donations flow in again. if you're turning free inventory away at the back because theres no room at the front, you're doing it wrong. Make money for Epilepsy Newfoundland on volume sales, and not on high markup, perceived treasures. Is anybody listening?
