I was recently in St. John's visiting family.
And I wanted to find my kids a little something to bring back home with me.
This shop has a little bit of everything a lot of cute things. But it's super expensive. And the service wasn't good.
There was two ladies working while I was there. One young lady who was very nice and helpful. And another older lady, who I can only assume was a manager, or owner. She was not so kind. I think when you are working in a tourist type shop. You should be a lot nicer when people come in. I couldn't find the kids tshirts and asked this lady where I'd find them. And instead of pointing them out to me proceeded to yell the younger ladies name over and over, who was in the other side of the shop. Later, when I went to cash out there was a lady ahead of me. Looking at some jewelry on the counter. Which is fine. I was happy to wait. But the lady said "oh! There someone behind me you can cash her out" and this woman behind the cash said "it's fine. We have another cash" but never once addressed me. It wasn't until the younger lady saw me, that I was shown where the other cash was (on the other side of the store)
I purchased two shirts and the went and found another shop for the rest of my purchases where the service was much, much better. read more
