It ended up not being used much over the years until a grandson needed a place to sleep overnight. The next morning the material on the cushions was coming off which is a faux leather. We purchased this sofa thinking that it would last a long time, in fact as long as we would ever need it as grandparents. I discovered that it was made by Ashley upon examining the tags. If we had wanted to by Ashely quality, we would have gone to their store, but we didn't. We now have something we will being throwing away; buyer beware.
