If I could give this restaurant ZERO stars, I absolutely would. My husband and I brought our…read moregranddaughters here yesterday, and the entire experience was a complete shit show. The hostess seated us, and we sat there for 45 minutes without a single person coming over--not even to take a drink order or acknowledge us. We then watched the same hostess approach a couple she had seated about 20 minutes AFTER us and apologize because she "forgot to tell the server they were there." I called out to get her attention, but she blatantly ignored me and kept walking. My husband finally had to flag down another waitress. Only then did the hostess come back and say, "Oh my God, I'm so sorry--I forgot to tell a server I sat you." By that point, we had been sitting there for nearly an HOUR. The restaurant wasn't even busy! We finally got up and walked out--completely disappointed and disgusted by the lack of service. The atmosphere was also dated, dingy, and uninviting. I will never return, and I would never recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely horrible experience from beginning to end.

We enjoyed our pilsner and conversation with locals and were invited to tour the facility by Jason Knuth, who owns the establishment with his wife Jennifer. There are two indoor bar areas with plenty of outdoor seating. On the second floor is a spacious ballroom accommodating over 300 people adjacent to a large outdoor balcony. For weddings there are bride and groom suites. The hardworking owners have full-time days jobs and together with some friends converted the building to this amazing facility. What a pleasant surprise to find this gem on our route.

The chicken, bacon, artichokes and onions all play well together. Adding the mushrooms brought a nice umami/earthy flavor to already solid flavor profile. The service was pretty quick and the pizza was amazing. The place was recently remodeled and is very open, warm and inviting. We got our drinks promptly and our appetizers were hot and fresh. I was astonished at how the cheese curds are not at all greasy! Our son raved about the fried pickles. The pizzas were out of this world and worth twice the wait - which was surprisingly short for a Friday night. We ordered a Hawaiian which was perfectly balanced on all ingredients as well as a meat pizza (pepperoni, bacon, sausage, hamburger) and it was a delight as well. The real surprise was how light the meat pizza was - no grease and the taste was out of this world. All of this made an already reasonable bill for a group of seven even more of a deal. We will be back!

The restaurant, which used to be Gus' Pizza, with the pizza prep area in the front window, was reconfigured and remodeled several years ago. We sat at the bar and boards on the wall noted drink specials, food specials, and mocktails. They also had about 10 draft beers available. We ordered some garlic cheese bread, and I had a red wine while we waited for our pepperoni sausage pizza. If seated at the bar, you can order there, otherwise there is a station where you can order and then head to a table to wait for your food or wait to grab carryout. They had two double deck ovens, and were busy, but our service was attentive. The dining area was full early on a Saturday night with families and sports teams. Our pizza, with house made crust, and hand seasoned sauce had delicious flavors with a sausage nugget carefully placed on each pepperoni slice. Despite the name, Roadhouse Pizza also features hoagies, sandwiches, burgers, and more. If I lived closer I would be a regular patron at Roadhouse for sure.
