I have to tell you, I was pleasantly surprised : ) The meatballs (4/5) were large and tasty, substantial, and perfectly cooked. The sauce was dark, rich, sweet and quite good (3.5/5). Overall, I would recommend, and there are a couple of things on the menu I'd like to try including the Italian beef with marinara and the Italian sausage with marinara : )

But what made this order stand out a bit was the delivery girl. She was so sweet and even let me know that she had put a few extra dressings in the bag for me, which I did greatly appreciate. I hadn't ordered salads from there before and didn't realize how large they actually were.

And then once we decided to sit down, the waitress didn't show up to take our order for over 10-15 minutes. We also observed several people/customers not wearing masks when coming in and no one saying anything to them. No wonder there was a spike in Covid cases recently. Needless to say...we didn't stay very long, just long enough to eat and pay and get out. The food itself is ok. Illinois has rediculous taxes, but $.93 on a $5.00 purchase is obviously more than it should have been. I pointed the problem out to the clerk, and was just told that, "well, that's how it rang up." If you make a purchase from Casey's I suggest you double check to see if they are charging more than they should.
