This place was great! During the 4th of July weekend with family we were all trying to find a place to have dinner. We had a party of 18 people looking for a place we could all meet. Every place in town was closed or couldn't support our group. When we called Palermo's they were like, "come on over"! We are a large loud happy group and they took care of us with ease. The staff was super nice, and handled the orders quickly. When the food started coming out it was delicious! If you happen to be in Macomb and looking for a place to eat, go to Palermo's. read more

Always service with a smile, pizza sauce is the best, and they have the best side salads. The prices are great and you can't go wrong!

Great customer service! I've eaten their calzones for over 20 years! I crave them every time I'm in town.

The pizza was great! Was in Macomb for a work trip and found this gem! Pizza was hot and cheesy! I would give 5 stars, but the sauce was a little plain. I got the pan pizza and cheese garlic bread. Nice family run pizza spot! read more

Not bad. My daughter came in from out of state and we order out from Palermo. We had gyros. They were different than the way the Greeks make them, but they weren't bad. Service was fast. The place is clean and prices are reasonable read more

You want pizza? Palermos. You want a hot steak and cheese sub? Palermos. Curry chicken and rice? Palermos. Stromboli? You guessed it. Always delicious and never disappoints. read more

Their subs are so good! We tried the turkey and Italian subs, both so good! Their homemade bread and house dressing is fire.

We were passing through and called ahead to order. The owner was very nice and helpful on the phone. Our order was correct and was ready when we arrived. Our subs were on delicious homemade bread. All the meat and toppings were very fresh. The restaurant itself was very clean and tidy. We would definitely stop here again and would like to try more of their menu items. read more

First of all, I rarely write reviews even though I eat a lot of food! I am so impressed by this place. I have traveled extensively in Italy, lived in New York, and have not had pizza this good most of the time. They are the nicest people that own/run the restaurant and have as far as I'm concerned, have some of the best food in the area. Great portions, quality, most of all value! Check it out, you will not be disappointed! read more

Husband thought the pepperoni pizza was "ok." The crust was thick and chewy not enough toppings. I had antipasto salad: not an authentic Italian antipasto. More lettuce salad than true antipasto. Now why the heckin' heck did they name it Palermo?!" Because next on our international food tour were vegetable samosas of India. Vegetable samosa filling was very tasty but again, pastry was bready and not crusty like authentic samosas. Served with ketchup! Bleh. We come to the Middle East with gyros. Gyros bread was NOT pita. I repeat NOT. More like the bun on a Mexican torta. Our partner diners did not enjoy them. They liked the Indian naan though. Prices were fair. Overall, not authentic international cooking. More a muddied version of Midwest meets Middle East. read more

Great stop for good food on the way to Canton Mo. Pass by all the franchise food and get lunch at Palermos. The girls split a small pizza and My wife and I both got Stromboli. I finished mine, but everyone else had to get a takeout box for leftovers (which were fought over later in the car). Not too many places you can get great Italian AND Indian foods. Don't let the plain exterior stop you from getting lunch or dinner here. read more

The Indian food was not what I expected. Darker and a wierd not smooth consistency. I hoped for better.

We ordered the pan pizza. Wonderful crust with a good amount of toppings made this one of the best pizzas we have had in a long time.

They have the best NY style pizza I have had since I moved to Illinois. The price is fair and the service is friendly. I highly recommend if you have never had this style of pizza to do so now, you won't be sorry. read more

Best Sausage Pizza in Macomb! The proprietor is ardent for customer service. He will make sure you are satisfied. Pool table is a great addition. read more

I've been coming here every since I was a child, and Palermo has never disappointed. Their bread is absolutely amazing and is baked fresh daily! The sandwiches are yummy and the pizza is delicious- they even have a smattering of Indian food for those that want to try something new. The family that owns Palermo are fantastic people, and always very welcoming. 10/10 will always stop by when I'm back from college! read more

Great place for lunch. Always open. It's a family owned restaurant and they serve some of the best homemade bread subs I've ever had. The prices aren't too bad either. All in all, I highly recommend this place for your next meal. read more

I didn't really enjoy the pizza, the dough had a yeasty taste and the pool table wasn't automated, I also don't appreciate being stared at my whole meal. Just my opinion, 3 stars... read more

I don't live in Macomb anymore, but every time I come back to visit I come here. Love the homemade bread and pizzas, and the service is always good. 10/10, would recommend. read more

I love the homemade bread that they use for the subs. I've had the pizza and it is pretty good, although there wasn't much pineapple on my pizza. The owners are great though and there is a lot of variety on the menu, including curry dishes. read more

Love the homemade Pita Bread and the Sausage Parmigiana sandwich....also had the pizza a couple of times and it was great too!!! The owners are lovely people.... read more

Love coming here! The pizza is amazing and I love the curry dishes. Sandwiches are always amazing! Definitely check this place out! Very friendly staff. read more

We have never had a bad meal here and we have tried everything; from pizza to authentic Indian Curry. The sandwiches are huge and made on the freshly baked breads. There is no skimping on ingredients. The cheese clazone must weigh at least a pound. Pizzas here don't need extra cheese, the sauce is great and tippings plentiful. Prices are very reasonable. They even have a pool table and a couple of video games. read more

This is my all time favorite place. The homemade bread they use for the sandwiches is awesome. I love this place ! It is so simple but great. read more
