My wife and I had been on the road for about 11 hours for what was a more stressful than usual trip. We didn't want any of the fast food options available and because of our pets, couldn't travel very far. My pizza was fresh from the oven & loaded with Canadian bacon, pineapples, onions, & jalapeños. Super yummy with an old world crust that had a nice crunch to it. All in all I highly recommend Flour and Fennel Pizza if you happen to be in Cashion. You won't regret it.

I find it worth the 15 minute drive for us! My kids love the pepperoni. The meatballs are good, not amazing but are homemade and not frozen. The cheese garlic bread is great. We've only been a handful of times so I need to go back and try different items. Slices are offered each day. Cheese, pepperoni, and the f&f then a rotating flavor each day. Only downside is the odd business hours but I can live with that.

Let me tell you, I don't know what they been smokin'. Because I disliked everything about it. Flavor reminded me of frozen grocery store pizza meets a cheap local pizza with processed ingredients. We had fresh slices of pepperoni just out of the oven. It was super greasy on top, pepperoni was bland, in fact all ingredients tasted low quality and lacked flavor. Slice was thin, cheese thin, crust very chewy and also, thin. Not soft like classic style, not crispy like modern or dyi, somewhere in between. Just disappointing. Though there were many seating options close to where I entered for the host to seat me, he took me alllll the way to the back corner. By the kitchen. Either he was trying to hide me from incoming customers, or he was trying to cut down on the steps for the server. If I were in his position, I probably would have done the same thing. After driving 700 miles, I may look less than presentable. I can't tell, my eyes are half open. Good thing for you that I stopped for the night. The menu is filled with Italian fare. I opted for the lasagna. That's my go to. I've had plenty of it across the U.S. I'll let you know how this version tastes. They say it's made from scratch. I'm hoping better than Stouffers. Although Stouffers is pretty darn good. It just arrived. That didn't take long at all. Ahhhh!! Piping hot! I think that I'll type a few lines to give it a chance to cool. The sauce is great and the bread crunchy. I'm glad that I got a beer to accompany my meal. It's going to come in handy. I was debating on getting one, as I have room beer back at the hotel. But, when in Rome...ha! I'm eating Italian. How appropriate for that worn idiom. Time to dive in.....it's cool now. Wow! Now, I'm impressed. This plate of lasagna is really good. It even has a slight kick to it. An unexpected pleasure. It won't take me long to finish. Dang! It's really good. For this weary traveller, I wish it were bigger. I better get on with the eating. My server, Kaleb, has stopped by the table 4 times asking if everything is OK. Wait! LoL, make that 5. Since being seated, my section is starting to fill up. That must be why the push is on. Ok,ok, young one, I'm eating, I'm eating. Give the Hideaway your business. Decent prices, good service, and great food. More importantly, I will have finished my meal, so your table will be ready upon your arrival. Ha,ha! Make that 6! That Kaleb is sure attentive. Quick Tip: Ask for more napkins. They're fairly small. You can get pretty messy when attempting to eat and type at the same time. LoL!!! My poor phone. Well, there you go. I'll have a snack with my room beer.
