    Kid's fettuccini alfredo, pretty bad
    Carla S.

Nostalgia brought us in, and yup it was about the same as I remember. In our college slash dating days, hubby and I used to come in for daily specials with unlimited breadsticks. If you play the deals right, you can really stretch a buck here. Tuesdays are our new fave, when kids eat for 99 cents, up to three with any adult entree. Sweeet deal. Food now. Breadsticks are saltier and more oily now than then. Too much so. Our first batch was actually soggy with oil, so we asked for a fresh batch with less oil and seasoning. Next came bare, hmm not quite what we meant, but oh well. As for the pastas, much like ten years ago, alfredo tastes watered down. Cheese in the ravioli bland with a gross texture. Avoid those two. Pizza is simple but pretty darn good, even with that prefab crust. Pizza sauce and cheese have some real flavor going on. It's my favorite item here, my old go-to, simple cheese or pepperoni is all you need. Baked dishes are supposed to be the bomb, but I have yet to try one. Dining room is typical for a Fazoli's and one of my favorite things about this place. For fast food, it's just comfortable. Tables and lighting give it more of a cafe feel. Not the plastic seats, cramped tables and exposed arrangements at other fast food places. Here I feel like I can have a nice, casual meal with my fam and not feel rushed, while listening to calming 90's adult alternative over their radio. Plus this place gets less customers on average, so the kids can get their own drinks, even run around a bit and I don't feel guilty. Service here is fast and friendly too. They've hired some quality people who will do about anything for you, just ask. As far as I know, they haven't delivered breadsticks to tables for some time. Dining room was clean, though my husband said avoid the ice dispenser. It may need a scrubbing. After all that, I admit I almost sound like I'm raving about the place. It does have it's charms and it's letdowns, menu hits and misses. But can I really justify a 4 star rating? Sure I can :)

Good food fast. Better than most fast food you find. The people are usually pretty helpful and quick.

The food is good and reasonably priced. Personally, I think the food is as good as Olive Garden.

We arrived and were promptly seated. My girlfriend immediately noticed that it appeared to be all 'locals' - that's a good sign! It's not a 'modern' restaurant. It's apparently been there for a long time. It's comfortable and feels like a nice Italian restaurant (I've eaten at many restaurants in Italy so I have a little bit of an idea for authentic ambiance.) We received a basket of bread - delicious seasoning along with an oil dip. I'm a bit of a beer snob so I was happy to see a good IPA on their beer list. We both started with a dinner salad. My girlfriend had the Tortellini and I had the Chicken Scaloppine. Both were delicious. The waiter and waitress were prompt, courteous and helpful. The prices were reasonable. There was plenty of food. We didn't have room for dessert unfortunately so no recommendations there. It was an enjoyable experience. My girlfriend said she really enjoyed it and was very happy with my selection (whew!).

The bread was served cold, and the pasta lacked flavor, even the Inducer's sauce was mild. The grilled chicken was bland with no seasoning. The good side was the tomato basil soup was delicious and my favorite. Kinda disappointing, the Parmesan cheese wasn't offered to us, even though I saw it provided to nearby tables. Maybe it just wasn't their night.

The marinara sauce in it was wonderful! More like pizza than flatbread. Best flatbread I ever tasted! Great! I had the carbonara which was also quite delicious! Hot, delightfully spiced, and creamy! Ambiance is great because it's a quaint restaurant with nice low lighting and beautiful artwork and nicely furnished. The Emma wine was wonderful! This place was so good that my Auntie S liked it! The bartenders was prompt with getting us menus and taking our drinks orders. I needed help narrowing down both my drunk and entrees but the bartender was very helpful. We got the complimentary bread and dips, one of a reduced balsamic spread, the other a super delicious Italian salsa verde that was so good, we needed more! We ordered the suppli el telefono as an appetizer that was delicious. I was a little surprised the red pepper pesto was cold but the stuffed risotto was hot. It ended up working well together, crispy and delicious, packed with flavor. I got the mixed green salad that was bright and refreshing. My partner got the soup which was a broccoli cheddar situation that was amazing! I ordered the Roman Carbonara and added the spicy Italian sausage that was juicy and perfectly spicy to my liking. My partner ordered the filet and that was also juicy and flavorful. We love sitting at the bar because you get to interact with a bunch of staff. Every single person we encountered was super friendly, cheerful, and gave us their opinions of their favorite menu items which was basically the entire menu so now we have to come back! The cocktails were delightful as well. I finished the meal with an affogato and it was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. The food and service was top notch.

Unique choice for sauce with mayo, but it did not disappoint. Dinner bread with oil was also served. We then ordered the Lobster & Ravioli, Pork Milanese, Brick Chicken and Chicken Polpettine Campanelle. The portion sizes are large. The Brick Chicken was incredibly moist but lacked flavor although it went very well with the pasta. The Pork Milanese was breaded and seasoned perfectly would have went very well with some pasta. The Chicken Polpettine Campanelle was flavorful with a kick. The flavored blended nicely. The Lobster & Ravoli looked delicious although I did not try this. Presentation was beautiful. It was all served quickly and hot. We were there to celebrate a birthday and Mother's Day and Alicen did take note. When we were finished eating she asked if Lemon Blueberry cake was ok and proceeded to tell us the history of the building. That was a nice story and who knew. We ventured to the washroom and the up to the 3rd floor to check out where the guards stood. Then down to the lower level to check that out as well. The details in and on this building is simply amazing, beautiful. Perfect spot for an intimate dinner in perfect lighting.
