I LOVE me some Detroit-style pizza, so I was happy to discover we had this place in OKC after seeing it recommended in the FB OKC foodie group. I ordered the Federal Hill pizza, while my wife had the White Top pizza since she doesn't eat meat (I married a weird one, I know). I'd probably rate the pizza about an 7.5 or 8/10. If they used a bit more cheese, that would elevate the pizza a bit more. Not the best Detroit pizza in the greater OKC metro but top 3 for sure. read more

I went to Parlor for a work function. I did not love the parking, but inside was not bad. I had the burrata-rita and it was pretty tasty. They had deep dish and new yorker style. The toppings I wanted were on the deep dish. I also liked that they had a bar upstairs and downstairs. I would like to return in better weather so I could enjoy the patio. read more

5 stars Tried Providence Pizza in OKC and ordered a Detroit-style pie along with the Burrata-Rita. Both were fantastic--tons of flavor, crispy edges on the Detroit, and the Burrata-Rita was creamy, fresh, and super satisfying. The Detroit pie was a little undercooked at first, but the staff handled it like pros--they remade the whole thing with no hesitation and made sure it was perfect. Really appreciated that level of service. The ambience was super laid-back and chill, which made the whole experience even better. Great spot to relax and enjoy some quality pizza. Ordered the Thayer Street Detroit style. It looked terrible with how sloppy the ingredients were topped on top and the unsettling glossiness of the white sauce. Luckily the flavor was much better than how it looked! They aren't using the highest quality ingredients, but the overall experience is satisfying. If I lived here, I would probably order this for myself at least once a quarter. The bread was the biggest selling point, as it was soft but still sturdy. It didn't have any sponginess that some places achieve. The burnt cheese edge all around the perimeter was standard but executed well. The toppings could have had more of a char for my taste. They almost seen like they were added after the pizza was cooked, which I feel is a mistake, but still works out. For being apart of a food hall, this is still a quality pizza that may not be the greatest but is still a solid choice. Whether just for one person or with a group of people. read more

Found inside Parlor Food Hall. I went here twice during my stay in OKC. Got a regular style east coast and a Detroit. Both were really good, hand made with really fresh, quality ingredients. They make the pizzas really fast, so don't expect to wait a long time for your pizza. Maybe 10 mins? The staff was friendly, pizza was great, the food hall set up let's you sit anywhere you like to enjoy your food. I like the set up. There is also a full bar available and lots of TVs to watch sports. Very cool place, stop by and give them a try. I think the pizzas were in the $14-$15 range which seemed super affordable to me. read more

The guys working here were very proud to talk about and show off their pizza masterpieces. They were energetic, friendly, and professional. I got the Thayer Street pizza, which is a New York-style pizza - their version of a Hawaiian pizza with some kick from jalapeños. Simply order, and wait for a text on your phone to let you know it is ready. I loved my pizza, and my colleagues loved their Detroit-style pizzas, as well. The pizza joint is in a food hall, and the setting was laid back and very open. The ambiance is great for a casual lunch - it can get loud but fun. read more

I grabbed a pizza to-go and it stayed warm until I got home. The crust was light and crispy without being too dry. The sauce was flavorful with a hint of herbs. The cheese melted perfectly and wasn't oily. Pickup was fast and convenient. I'll definitely order again for a cozy night in. read more

This place is located in the parlor and as many times I've been here many times and never tried the Detroit style pizza here and I've been missing out. The pizza Domenico crust was very crunchy and you could taste the garlic in the sauce the best was the little surprise bits of bacon I got with some bites. The motor city was equally as good and the sauce on it wasn't overwhelming to the point it ruined the pizza. We keep coming back to Providence Pizza. I love their Detroit style Motor City pizza. It's a classic take on a what a pepperoni deep dish pizza should be. They nail it. 5/5. I love their small cup pepperoni, fresh ricotta cheese and basil. The toppings don't just sit on the top of the fresh baked pizza crust and slide off like some Detroit style pizzas, they meld into the crust for a cohesive pizza experience. This place is amazing. I have eaten both the Crotalian (this time - see pic) and the Federal Hill deep dish pizzas. Detroit style pizza is much heavier than other types so be ready for that. Just left from wanting to order food. Walked up and employee guy #1 was putting toppings on a baked dish with no gloves. Looked over at his co-worker who was standing there blowing his nose, re-arranged tissue and blew again. Then threw it away, grabbed another tissue, blew more to where his nose was really red. Threw that tissue away and immediately opened over for employee #1 to put dish in oven. Then without washing his hands, he goes over to counter to prep a dish. Wow, wow, wow! I'm looking for a new place to try we came upon this hidden gem and could not have been more surprised by what we stumbled upon. Providence Pizza has, by far, the best gluten free pizza in the OKC area. As someone with celiac, it's always a risk to try a new pizza place and realty doesn't turn out well. The crust was excellent, no issues health wise after eating. Always happy to find a new spot! read more

Im a big fan of deep dish, so i love their Detroit style pizza. I usually order the "federal hill" detroit style. Very good, can serve a light meal for 2 or heavy meal for 1. One of my new favorite spots in Oklahoma City is at The Parlor, the new food hall located in Automobile Alley! The Parlor has something for everyone and Providence Pizza is bar far one of my favorite spots. Hop in line to grab a slice of pizza or even a whole pie to share with your friends and family, you won't be disappointed. If you are craving something sweet I highly recommend one of their cannolis. They know exactly how this delicious dessert should be made. You can choose from original chocolate or pistachio. They fill every cannoli by hand per order! There are not many places in the city that do that. The outside shell was perfectly crispy and buttery and the inside of the cannoli was light and packed with flavor. The Hubs and I split the Motor City and some cheesy bread after enjoying some beers across the street at Skydance Brewing. Best cheesy bread I've ever had. The pizza was great, but a little salty. I am a die heart fan of Detroit style pizza (brown dog in telluride and blue pan in Denver have my heart). That being said, I feel as though this place deserves a super honorable mention. It-was-solid. I went with the Motor City because, in my belief you don't want too much "junk" on a Detroit style pie. It was great! Although just a smidge too salty IMO, it's typically salty but this went a smidge too far over the edge. Overall great! read more

There were parties at 3 tables, not busy at all. The greeter told us our server would be here in just a minute to get our drink order. We had been looking at the menu for weeks so we knew we wanted the breadsticks, calzones, and a crepe for dessert. The crepes are what we were most excited about. So we waited. No one came to our table to take our drink orders. One of the parties were finished, paid their bill and left. OK. We watched the one server who appeared to be the only server working at the time. He brought food to the party behind us. He had taken the money from the party that left. He had walked to the back of the restaurant and taken a short break and got something to drink (we could see him). The greeter had walked by our table 3 or so times. After we had been there 6 minutes, yes, I checked my watch, a new party came in. It was a single man. The greeter was in the back so one of the 2 people working at the bar come to the front, walking right past us, and took the man to a table. Within 20 seconds (estimated, but it was very quickly) the one server was at his table taking his drink order. At that time we sadly decided that we were not going to wait any longer. It had been 7 minutes and NO ONE HAD VISITED OUR TABLE! Not an hi, I'm your server and I'll be back in just a minute to take your order. NOTHING!!! So we left. No one followed us. No one yelled and try to stop us. We don't move very fast and it would have been easy to stop us and talk to us but no. It felt like we had a cloak of invisibility on. We were very disappointed. We truly were hoping Joey's would be a good pizza place and it had our mouths watering for the crepes.
