Hideaway is a solid go-to for pizza, and while we've done plenty of takeout over the years, it was really nice to sit down and be waited on for a change. Heaven was our waitress, and her name fit perfectly--friendly, attentive, and genuinely pleasant from start to finish. We jumped right into the lunch pizza specials. My wife ordered pepperoni, mushrooms, and black olives. I went with pepperoni and anchovies... yes, anchovies . I know they're not for everyone, but for those of us who appreciate them, Hideaway is one of the few places that still offers them--and they do it right. I also ordered the blue cheese wedge salad, and if you're a blue cheese fan, this one's a winner. Served on a properly chilled plate with plenty of blue cheese crumbles--exactly how it should be done. When the pizzas arrived, my wife's order wasn't quite right. The staff immediately apologized, remade the correct pizza, and had it out in just a few minutes. They even left the incorrect pizza for us to try, which we normally wouldn't have ordered--but we're glad we did. That kind of customer service goes a long way. Between the food, the service, and how well they handled a small hiccup, Hideaway continues to rank near the top of my pizza list. Highly recommend--and not just for takeout. read more

My first time visiting OKC and first time to Hideaway Pizza. My daughter-in-law works here and is very happy here and we came to eat after her shift. I was so surprised at how many people were here and how big the dining area is. I live in Las Vegas and there are hardly any dine in pizza restaurants left. The parking lot was full ! It reminded me of the old days when the family went to pizza restaurants and dined in , had a beer , played the jukebox , played some video games , and had a good family night. We started out with Garlic Knots with Marinara Sauce. They were fluffy , soft , and pretty good. I'm not really a fan of Garlic Knots , but my son and daughter in law like to get them. I also got a Small Just A Beginner Salad with Thousand Island Dressing and Croutons. It was fresh and the dressing was thick and good. I got it with no Black Olives also. We also had 3 Pepsis. I got a taster of their house APA and Ale and I wasn't a fan of either. Now to the main event. We got a Medium Thin Crust Pizza , Half and Half. One side Pepperoni , Italian Sausage , and Jalapeños. The other side Paradise Pizza with no Mushrooms and no Tomatoes. The Paradise Pizza is a white sauce. The pizza is very good. The crust was just the right thickness , not to thin and not to thick with a good flavor. I liked the Pepperoni , Italian Sausage , and Jalapeños side better than the Paradise Pizza. The Paradise Pizza is my daughter in laws favorite. It wasn't bad , I just prefer a more traditional pizza. When you first come in there is a window where you can see the cooks making your pizza. They also have a bar for beer and mixed drinks. The decor is a little dark with big booths which is just like the old days , so I like it. They also give a 10% Military Discount which I appreciate since I'm a Veteran and not my places do that anymore. I was pretty impressed with the restaurant and the employees were friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend you coming to Hideaway Pizza to experience the good old days of eating out with the family and having a good hot and fresh pizza and spending time with each other. read more

Went to Hideaway this evening. Had a great sandwich. Food was great as usual. But this time we decided to have alcoholic beverages. We each ordered a Long Island iced tea. There was hardly anything in it for $10. But with that drink you definitely should feel something, but there was nothing so save your money. read more

I will admit the food was great, the restaurant was a little cold, but let me just say, Shy, Scott, and Joey are awesome. My cousins wanted to watch the pizzas, and these three did not disappoint. My cousins were very intrigued of the tricks and pizza-slinging. If you are looking for the best Hideaway, this is it. The staff were really sweet, and super kind. The pizzas are always a good price. My first time in the area, I thought I would give this pizza place a shot. I called in for pick up and they were very helpful with the order as well as advising me of a lunch time discount. The pizza order was filled promptly and was delicious. Since we carried out, I can't speak to the ambience however the staff I spoke to while in the building were polite and responsive. I came here with my parents while visiting from out of town. In all honesty I'm pretty hard to please when it comes to pizza. I'm from Vegas and while we're not NY we've got some solid pie options. I opted for the Southwest chicken salad instead. I was surprised how much chicken was on the salad and it was good quality chicken breast. Not rubbery pressed mystery chicken like at many other places. The staff is all very young. Like high school age. They were friendly and gave good service. I can't say I would have been blown away by the pizza by the looks of what my parents ordered, but again I'm a bit spoiled coming from Vegas with really incredible food options. I love Hideaway Pizza! We had never visited this location until today, and we were pleased to find the quality of food and service was on par with all the other locations. Hideaway Pizza has a great menu with appetizers, salads, pasta and the main event 'Pizza'. There is also a full bar serving signature cocktails. Although the menu items are very tempting, I would feel cheated not having the Sicilian pizza; hand tossed dough topped with olive oil, garlic sauce, mozzarella, Italian sausage, pepperoni, salami, dollops of red sauce and I requested sliced green olives. Nothing beats having pizza in the restaurant as soon as it comes out. The service was great, quick and attentive. We also get the fried mushrooms and it did not disappoint with plenty of ranch and marinara. We split a wedge salad with nice chunks of blue cheeses. Service was kinda bad because most of the staff consists of kids. Your typical slow and rude teenagers. It's what you'd expect so no surprise. But let's get down the business. Why you're really here. Is the pizza good? yes. 8.2 One of your better options for sure here in OKC. Pricey but you get what you pay for. Worth the buck. The pizza was crunchy but not too crunchy. Not a floppy mess. Good undercarriage. Decent amount of cheese and toppings were throughly baked. Not drowned in sauce and just good pizza. It gets a 4 stars for service but an 8.2 for the pizza. read more

We ordered Hideaway pizza for the first time the other day after hearing so many rave reviews about it from our friends, and we were a little bummed to find a hair in our pizza on our first go. It was a little unappetizing to see that - but before the hair was found, we were pretty happy with our pizza! Crust was made well, super generous portions with the toppings too. And of course, their pizzas are absolutely massive. One large pizza will feed plenty. Coming back to the issue, I gave them five stars because I brought it up to customer service and they very quickly fixed it! Refunded our order, and even gave us some more Hideaway Bucks to use for the next time we decide to go. I appreciate the great customer service and so we'll be back very soon! read more

Oh my gosh!!! I could not have had a better experience at Hideaways. The food, the service, the atmosphere was SO AWESOME! They immediately sat us down and had our drinks within minutes of getting there. Our waiters name was, Bless, and he was SO awesome! Nicest guy ever. He even brought out pizza dough for my two daughters to play with while we were waiting for our food. We got the "Aporkolypse" and it was SOOOOOO GOOD! We also got a flight of RANCH! Seriously best idea ever. We ate SO much I could barley move by the time we left. My father in law and husband also each got a beer! Nice and cold, and loves being able to have some local beer! We have been going here for years and like every other restaurant the service is going downhill while the prices continue to raise. Tonight my daughter and I went and ordered almost right away from start to finish we were there over an hour and a half. It wasn't busy when we got there but our waiter kept making excuses about others being slow. He in fact was pretty slow himself and we had to ask for drink refills and for plates to be cleared from our table. By the time we left the parking lot was cut throat. Half of the parking lot is reserved for call in orders which is excessive. They need to utilize overflow parking at the businesses next door and put that on signs. People pulling to the side putting their hazards on while they wait for spots is madness in a parking lot that small. I don't think we will be back to this location anymore. read more

I have come to the decision that Hideaway Pizza is my favorite go to if I want a good pizza. I have been absolutely hooked since last year when one of my cousins surprised me with an order of a large pizza with garlic knots, I believe. I thought to myself, "How am I going to eat all of this food?", that first bite was the answer to my dilemma. I had a few slices and went back for a few more. Woke up the next morning and ate it for breakfast, then a snack, then lunch until it was gone. I devoured the whole thing in no time! I rant and rave about it to my family and friends. To be honest, I just ordered one last night as I couldn't resist the temptation and am chewing on a slice for breakfast and as I write my review. It's just that good. The type of pizza I ordered was the thin crust, All Around the World. It reminds you of the supreme pizza at other known pizza restaurants, but tastes 100 percent better in my opinion. I keep most of the options, except, I change out the sausage for bacon and take off the mushrooms. I don't know what it was, but the one that was prepared for me last night was made to perfection. I'm not sure what the "secret sauce" is, but it's amazing and I hope that it never changes. Since the pandemic and out of convenience, I order mine online and just select curbside pick up. The car hoppers come right out, pull up your order and bring you out a hot pizza where the aroma becomes an instant air freshener. I don't mind the temporary change in fragrance but it's enough to make you stop right there, open the box, and taste test a piece or two before you drive off of the parking lot. I know I have and glad I don't live too far! If you are looking for a great place for pizza to dine in or carry out, check out Hideaway Pizza. It just might become your favorite go to as well. My whole family loves Hideaway and we have for a long time. Best ranch dressing ever. 2 words: FRIED MUSHROOMS. They are da bomb! (Man, I could have also said GARLIC KNOTS!) They have a wide variety of pizza toppings. Their hand tossed crust is amazing and the thin crust is too--crust that is actually flavorful! We use to order the Hurricane with BBQ sauce and ranch on the side all the time, until they added The XTREME! That one is now our go-to pizza; you MUST get a side of ranch because those jalapeños are spicy! I have tried many other specialty pizzas--Paradise Pie, Chicken Florentine and Pizza of the Gods. There is so much I haven't tried that I want to try! You really can't go wrong here. The ingredients are fresh and they have more than just pizza, apparently! I haven't tried any of their pastas or sandwiches; they look good, too! Now, I have heard of people not liking this place. Maybe they're not from around here, or maybe they're just boring!
