I ordered a Small Paneer Tikka Lovers Pizza, a Jalapenos Garlic Moon Pie, a Cookie Chocolate chip, and a Fudge Brownie. The cookie and brownie were the only 2 dessert options, and both are made by a third party company (you can order a box of 108 of the same brownies from Amazon). I'm pointing that out for transparency. Anyway, while I was driving home with my order, I could smell both the pizza and moon pie, which did fill me with anticipation. The small was their smallest size for pizza (meaning no personal pan pizzas), and it measures almost 10 inches in diameter. So I would surmise that a medium is 12 inches while a large is 14 inches (if someone who works here wishes to reply and verify this measurements, that'd be great). Anyway, when it comes to pizza, I want to be able to taste the toppings, and thankfully, the pizza I got passed that qualification. It had a very aromatic flavor that you typically find with most Indian cuisine. The Jalapenos Garlic Moon Pie definitely used fresh jalapenos since they still had their heat (which is what I was wanting). As for the cookie, it tasted light like a meringue cookies does, which makes me wonder if these cookies are made with just egg white instead of whole eggs. Order: Lulu special…read more Absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. I bit into my pizza and hit something so hard that it actually hurt my teeth. I spit it out and found what clearly appeared to be a brown paper towel baked inside the crust. You can literally see the fibers in the pictures. That is not "hard dough." When I complained to the waitress, she sent a man in a tie-dye shirt(manager) out and tried to tell me the dough had just folded over itself. Seriously? Instead of apologizing, taking the situation seriously, or even properly investigating it, he stood there trying to convince me I did not see what was right in front of my face. Then I went into the bathroom and saw the same type of brown paper towels in the dispenser. So how in the hell does something that looks exactly like a bathroom paper towel end up baked into someone's pizza? That is beyond nasty and raises serious questions about what is happening in that kitchen. I told them I did not want the rest of the pizza, because who would keep eating after finding that? The worst part was the way they dismissed me instead of showing any real concern for food safety or the fact that I could have damaged my tooth. The pictures speak for themselves. I will never eat at Pie Hound Pizza Company again. Check your food before you bite into it, because apparently customers are expected to argue with management about whether paper towel fibers are "just dough." I don't know what is it if it's not paper towel what do yall think it is?
