I'm A pizza snob and I can say this is legit comfort pizza. It's a tavern style, thin crust and cut in squares, and it's really good pizza. I ordered the meat pizza and the toppings were legit. Piles of bacon, pepperoni, sausage and bacon. Crust was crispy and the sauce served its job. Definitely bring a crowd. I ordered a pizza and it's enough for probably 4 meals. It's filling and delicious. If you're in the area and want a chill place to have some good pizza check this place out. Oh, I wouldn't bring kids. However, the ownership recently changed and they eliminated multiple specials. That said, I ordered in the middle of February 2026, and was quoted $9.95 for a large two topping - what their regular special always was. I ordered two for a total of $19.90. However, with a friend picking up the pizza I'd ordered, they charged $29.90 stating that their prices had recently changed. That doesn't sit well. A 50% price increase upon arrival is not right. It sounds like the person who took my order and quoted me the price was thinking of the prior specials under the original ownership, and even though I ordered with those prices, they did not want to honor it. The manager was very argumentative, and I offered that I would return the pizza for a full refund or he could refund the difference. After 5 minutes of back and forth, the manager finally agreed to refund $6 to make it right. With the new ownership and massive price increases, I guess that's the last I'll be ordering of PizzAroma.

The inside is very small with a few tiny tables so it's mostly a to-go type of place. They have daily specials and the one we got was a large 3 topping pizza and cinnamon bread for $12. The pizza is made thin crust style and is soft and sort of floppy instead of crunchy which we really liked. The pizza tasted great and wasn't short on the toppings. In fact, I'm so glad this place actually knows what "extra cheese" means! The sauce had a nice amount of sweetness and they put just the right amount. The cinnamon bread was also really good and even though I would have liked a little more cinnamon, the bread was soft and kind of moist. We have had the opportunity to have some really great pizza across the country including real Chicago deep dish at Giordano's. Even so, we've always been partial to Domino's since they recently changed their recipe but I can say we enjoyed Jo-Jo's just as much. The menu also has a good variety including subs and salad. On Monday and Wednesday they have a deal for 1/2 off pizza for carry out which I'm sure we'll take advantage of. We are so happy to have good pizza so close to our house now!

It was a charming Italian spot with a cozy dining room and a welcoming patio. The menu looked great, so even though it was already late and only about a half hour before closing, I chose to dine there. I was a little worried I might feel rushed because of the time, but that did not happen. I was greeted warmly by the hostess and the manager as soon as I walked in, which immediately made me feel welcome. Since it was a bit cool outside, I chose to sit in the dining room. I was seated in Sydney's section, which turned out to be perfect because she was an excellent server. Even though she had already started the closing tasks in the dining room, she still provided outstanding service. She was attentive, polite, professional and efficient. She took my order right away and kept the soda refills coming without me ever having to ask. Sydney's service really made the difference and it complemented my delicious meal. In an era where many restaurants feel inattentive or simply not invested in the guest experience, Basil Pizza and Wine delivered a memorable evening. It ended up being an unexpectedly great dinner and it will be my go to restaurant the next time I am staying in Perrysburg. Sydney and the restaurant were fantastic.

The bread is very soft and fluffy and tastes great, but they pile that sweet cheese thick on top of it and it's just not my cup of tea. My friends ordered pizza and they loved what they ordered. I ordered the Caesar salad and added chicken. The Caesar dressing is chefs kiss. I absolutely loved it and wish I could've taken a bottle of it home with me. Practically a pizza on its own. I ordered the pub burger. It might sound a little mundane, but it was sublime. The bacon was well done and crispy, but it's not prefab frozen stuff. It was real bacon. I enjoyed the cheese. It was a properly done burger. Not overcooked not undercooked just right in my opinion. Exactly what I asked for. My sweetie got the side salad to go with her sandwich instead of fries and she is delighted, which she normally isn't. She's usually pretty tough on salads. She says it was crispy and yummy.
