Well, PizzAroma had a good run. After some price increases, their prices were still very reasonable, and we still ordered often. However, the ownership recently changed and they eliminated multiple specials. That said, I ordered in the middle of February 2026, and was quoted $9.95 for a large two topping - what their regular special always was. I ordered two for a total of $19.90. However, with a friend picking up the pizza I'd ordered, they charged $29.90 stating that their prices had recently changed. That doesn't sit well. A 50% price increase upon arrival is not right. It sounds like the person who took my order and quoted me the price was thinking of the prior specials under the original ownership, and even though I ordered with those prices, they did not want to honor it. The manager was very argumentative, and I offered that I would return the pizza for a full refund or he could refund the difference. After 5 minutes of back and forth, the manager finally agreed to refund $6 to make it right. With the new ownership and massive price increases, I guess that's the last I'll be ordering of PizzAroma. read more

We have had trouble with inconsistent service and quality from Pizzaroma in the past but recently we have had some very good pizzas. We ordered last night on a whim for delivery and we live nearby. We ordered a Supreme specialty pizza with bacon added. They use a new app now which we downloaded, but we were unable to get it to work. We were still able to track our pizza and they kindly gave us advanced warning that it could be late, but then it came earlier then they anticipated. This pizza was fantastic and one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten - in over 60 years of eating pizza! The regular crust was fresh, chewy and flavorful, not greasy. All of the toppings were added on top of the cheese, as is their technique. The vegetable toppings were chopped fine (except the mushroom). It had the perfect amount of cheese and it might've been just a little light on the sauce, but we had extra sauce on the side. Exceptional pizza tonight and great service from Pizzaroma! read more

Not sure what to say here, other than my experience was less than ideal. Ordered BBQ wings and received overcooked wings that were so charred on the foil you had to peel them away, so they were obviously cooked directly on it. There's also no sauce to top it off. When brought to attention they were looking into it. After that it was radio silence until I posted the pictures on social media about a week later. They spin it back around on the me saying that they're sorry it's not up to my time standards because they had a death in the family? What kind of response is that. I'm now painted out to be the bad person because my issue wasn't resolved? I mean, I'm sorry for their loss, although I'm not sure how should that become my problem. Side of cheese garlic bread for the group to share! We took our order to go, since they were located near our hotel.. it was super convenient. They even threw in plates, napkins and utensils. I come to Maumee for work. Living in Buffalo NY, I am a pizza connoisseur. PizzAroma satisfied my picky pizza palette. Ordered a medium, pepperoni and onions with extra cheese. Sauce had a touch of sweetness that I like. Plenty of pepperoni and onions. The dough was just right as well and cooked just right. Also ordered a steak and cheese sub that was very good. Quality shaved steak. I will be ordering again when I'm back in town. Delivery was quick and the delivery person was polite. read more

They're the closest pizza place with their own delivery drivers to me. In fact, they're so close to me that I sometimes feel ashamed to order delivery from them. It's a solid 90 second drive if I don't hit the *one* light on my way, but to be fair, it would be a good 50 minute walk there and back. By now I've ordered from them a few dozen times. My family likes their pizza better than most other pizza places around. If "I" had to pick a favorite, they might not be the one. But being that my daughter is the one who dictates the pizza cravings in my household, I don't usually get the final saying on this. Plus all the other pizza places, I pretty much have to drive to pick up so.... Their pizzas hold up very well the day of, day after - cold, as well as frozen & thawed later. I can't say the same about some other pizzas out there. Where they fall short is everything else on the menu that I've tried so far. Bread sticks, salads and wings were all pretty average. In fact, one time I ordered their "Italian" salad, but it didn't have *any* Italian element to the salad except for some pepperonis. Their menu lists lettuce, tomato, pepperoni, black olives, banana peppers, feta and cheddar cheese, and in my head I was expecting at least a poor man's version of antipasto. What I got was more of a side salad. Granted, I think whoever made it saw the order wrong and made literally a tossed salad rather than an Italian, but it was still a very disappointing experience. Anyway, it's a delivery pizza place and I've decided not to hold anything else against them. Honestly Ive ordered from here many times and about half the times, my order is wrong or just cancelled. Every time I call, they refuse to do anything about it. This time I called, and the manager said "well you got most of your order". I love supporting local businesses but I cannot order here anymore. So the actual pizza is good, however, I'm super upset. I ordered two pizzas one black olive and one pepperoni for my sister. I'm a vegetarian and have been for over 16 years. When we opened up the pizza, we thought they had messed up and given us a cheese pizza. It was late and I didn't feel like calling them. Turns out they put the pepperoni underneath the cheese, hiding the fact that it's pepperoni and I ate some and had to throw up because of it. It was a lazy, stay in all day wearing PJs kind of day, and that can only mean one thing: delivery. I've been kind of bummed ever since moving to Toledo by the lack of good NY style pizza choices so I wasn't expecting much when I ordered delivery from here. Service was also incredibly slow for some reason - I got my pizza almost an hour later (but to be fair it was personalized so they had to cook it fresh...) and the prices seemed pretty costly for a lunch special small one topping ($8?!!) By the time the pizza arrived, I was so aggravated and hungry that I was mentally prepared to scarf it down regardless of taste. And then...I took my first bite. AND IT WAS EFFING AMAZING. Omg. THE SAUCE!!! THE SAUCEEE. I cannot overstate this enough: this place has got to have the best pizza sauce I have EVER tried. It's seasoned and salted (not overwhelmingly, but most places just have way too bland sauce because they think cheese and bread are all that matters ugh which is wrong so wrong) and EVEN MADE THE PINEAPPLES MORE DELICIOUS. ALSO THE PINEAPPLES WERE EMBEDDED INTO THE PIZZA, not just haphazardly thrown on top of the cheese. This meant that it was kept warm, cooked with the sauce (and thus flavored), and so delicious and juicy I had tears in my eyes. OH AND THE CRUST WAS SALTED AND GARLICKY LIKE CRUSTS SHOULD BE. I can't tell you how many pizza places neglect the crust like I don't want to shove flavorless carbs in my mouth carbs are evil and I'll only eat them if they taste good! Maybe these are just the emotions of a girl who waited an hour for pizza and became slightly delirious from hunger OR MAYBE IT IS JUST THAT GOOD. I can't wait to try the other pizza choices here and when my bf is back in town I will be dragging him here so we can eat one of their pizzas fresh out of the oven rather than takeout or delivery. Ordered our pizza @ 740 and live down the street 1 mile away. We paid over $20 for a small pizza but we were willing to help out a local business. Our front door was open and while we were waiting no one came. @ 901 I called to confirm and no one would and the phone. By the time we decided to go down the street to find out what was going on we found the cold hard pizza on the porch. There was no mention of a contactless delivery,plus why would we want the pizza on the ground. Unfortunately, the tip and pizza was already paid for. This is an amazing, locally owned pizza shop. The menu is great and the prices are on par with competition. The staff is awesome. Every time that we order delivery, it is fast and our driver is always super friendly. We have been ordering Pizzaroma for about 5 years and have never had an order be incorrect. I placed my order a few days ahead of the party and they were great to work with. They have price deals if you order 6 or more pizzas for a party. They delivered right on schedule! Service was quick on a Saturday night. That should have been my first warning. Got a small Hawaiian pizza and an ultimate cheese bread. The Hawaiian pizza was so so. The crust was under cooked in my opinion. The "ultimate cheese bread" was anything but ultimate! That bread was so salty that I couldn't eat more than 2 pieces. It claims to have 4 cheeses on it but it tastes like Parmesan and salt. No garlic or herbs to give it life. Such a disappointment!! I won't be bothering with them again! Called in an order, told the man I had never been there before and was asking about prices and the menu items. I ended up ordering the special, Lg. 3 toppings $9.99 and an order of boneless wings $7.25. I asked if I could add pineapple on 1/2 the pizza. He said no problem but didn't mention it would cost $4.75 for adding on a few pcs. of canned pineapple on half the pizza. When I got there my bill was $22.00.
