The pizza surprised us in the best way. It's square. It's thin--not your typical pan-fried, not quite Neapolitan, not Detroit style--it's sort of on a league of its own. Personally, I'm not a fan of crust (blasphemy, I know!) but I ate every bit of the one on this pizza. We went with their namesake, Ziggy Pizza, which is basically like their version of a supreme. It was perfect--nice sauce, great crust, and fresh veggies. We also tried the salad (just okay) and their cheesy garlic bread. The ranch with the salad was a standout. It seems to be made in-house. The cheesy garlic bread though--you've gotta do it! It's Texas-toast style pieces covered in cheese with a strong garlic flavor. It was so good I could see myself ordering just this as a snack someday. We didn't try any of their drinks, but are exited to go back and try some during one of their happy hours or their promo nights with discounts. The service was good, but could be even better as they continue to work out the new-restaurant kinks. I'd also note that this is their third location. QDOBA and a few other of the newer fast food chains have really raised the bar on quality for food that is served fast. I love the fresh ingredients, and how they season and cook the food. All the meat toppings are very good, and the portions are great, too. I docked them one star, however, because the food is rarely hot by the time it's served. The food sits in a steam table, and I see steam coming out, but usually, by the time I get back to my office (remember, I'm just across the street - no more than about 3 minutes), the food is basically room temperature or lukewarm. I've started putting it in the microwave to get it hot enough to enjoy. If it weren't for that, I'd be a 5-star fan for sure. If the other guys, like Panda X and Noodles & Co. can deliver hot food, QDOBA should be able to as well. Just sayin'. But I'll be back anyway, it's pretty good, even if I do have to reheat it.
