Well, I can safely say that Tony's Pizzeria has ended my search in Central Texas! I first heard about Tony's through Yelp's recommendation, and my wife and I decided to give it a try. Located in west Killeen, Tony's is easy to reach with a simple turn off of Elm's road. It is within a plaza, and the sign simply reads: PIZZA. Hours are located on the door, and you can find the name "Tony's" plastered on the windows. I walked in, and the slightly hazed interior with employees that gazed at me with the intensity of a NY stare let me know I made an excellent choice. I was welcomed in, and my food was ready upon entry. They thanked me for being a customer, and hoped to see me again. We got the meat lover's 16" pizza, and it was amazing! The flavor was rich, the meat was not overpowering the cheese to sauce ratio, and the crust was so flaky and sweet it felt as if a caring mother made it. My wife and I remarked to one another about the great flavor, and were excited about making this our pizza spot. Thank you Tony's for a top tier pie, and an unforgettable experience!

I think you would be impressed with the flavors and freshness here. I would definitely recommend this place based on my visit today. Update: Miss Kim has a great team, and they shout your order out loud as the dining room is the food court. The Five Cheese Tortillini with meat sauce was very good! Watch out ... it's hot! The breadstick tastes better with the dish. It's a lot of food for the price! Enjoy!!

The interior isn't anything to write home about, but there's something about the place that feels very local. I did ask her about the pizza (and food), but she didn't know much. My buddy wanted to try the carnivore. It wasn't too bad. The pizza was generous on the toppings and the crust was as crispy. We asked for menus and went and set down. We looked over the menu and decided what we were going to have. After waiting a while longer we finally asked if we needed to come up front and order or will they come to the table and take our order. She informed us that we had to order up front so we did! She took our order and we paid and went and had a set at a table. The table hadn't even been cleaned. We took napkins and wiped it off. We were trying to figure out what to do when we got our order. We didn't know if we had to go pick it up or would they bring it to us. We did self serve at the water fountain. We ordered; Large SPECIALITY pizza (Supreme) 10 wings Fried Mushrooms Fried Parmesan Zucchini They brought our appetizers out to us, the Mushrooms and Zucchini. They were OK, served hot and with ranch dressing. As I said, they were OK, nothing Special. The wings were hot and crispy, we did the Garlic Butter ones. Didn't see any sauce on the wings. They were very dry. The pizza looked promising. It was the Supreme. It had nice amount of toppings on it. That was about it. It really had no taste. I put ranch and Parmesan cheese on a piece and ate about half the slice. Again, looked good but had no taste. All I tasted was the cheese and Ranch! No one came and asked us if we needed anything or how things were. It's like we alone in the restaurant. No customer service at all. I was really shocked at the overall experience! We thought we would give it a try so we did. Different people have different taste and it was a miss for us today! But hay, we all have good days and bad days. Today just wasn't a good day for us today. Because and check it out for yourself. You never know! Could be a good day for you. I don't need to go back.
