Whatever you do DONT HAVE A PARTY THERE....They charge outrages fees and literally take almost 2 months to get your deposit back. I don't know of any company that takes 2 months to pay deposits back to customers. If you need to fill balloons up don't expect to use the electricity they turn it off and refuse to let you use it regardless if you practically payed more then it would be to go to DISNEYLAND. I rented 3 tables but when I arrived one of the benches had a caution sign all over so some of my guest were unseated. When I called to ask why I wasn't notified and payed for all 3 tables they asked me to read the fine print on the contract signed when renting which states YOU CAN NOT HOLD THEM RESPONSIBLE FOR BASICALLY ANYTHING. SAVE YOUR MONEY DONT RENT THERE you will Regret I Trust Me

This is a long overdue post. This is a beautiful park to take your kids, they have 3 play structures for different ages. During the summer time, they have the water area open at certain times, so call before heading there. They also have a mini golf section for all ages (meaning kids) they have a soccer field and they also offer cooking classes. My son accidentally fell in one of the rocks they have, and bump his head. I went into the office to ask for an ice-pack, they didn't have any but they gave me a bag of ice, which was really helpful. The staff is constantly cleaning, and monitoring the park, which is great.

Nice little park made especially for kids!!! I'm glad that I found this park and my kid just loves playing here. The one thing that I really liked about this park was the cushioned ground. The play area wasn't built around the sands so your kids won't get messy but it's still safe to play and run around. There are plenty of things that kids can enjoy. This park includes kid's basketball area, soccer field, miniature golf, little picnic area, and some area that kids can run around and explore. They even have night lights all around the park so you can still take the kids there when the day gets darker. I've been to many other parks around LA but I never seen a park that was built especially for the kids. I'm not sure if this was just my impression but the kids were all behaving nicely here knowing how to take turns and offer kind gesture to my kid since most the kids here were older than him. I once had to deal with rude and unbehaving little girl trying to push my kid off the slide from Pan Pacific park near the Grove. I'm glad that I didn't find any kid like that here and my kid spent really good time.

Nice clean place to bring your kids to play. Kinda empty perfect if you don't like the crowds.

This is a small residential park with lots of activities for the kiddos. It was opened about 2 years ago and it's starting to show some wear which tells me it's probably very popular. When you drive in to the parking lot you'll see a small fenced basketball court, which is only big enough for one hoop so not much room to hold an actual game, but perfect for practicing your shooting. When you enter the park gate you'll see 2 play structures, one for the younger kids and one for the older kids. The smaller one is missing a bridge so you're pretty much left with just a small slide. The bigger one has slides, climbing ladders, monkey bars, 2 regular swings, and a spider web like climber. If you walk a bit further in you'll find a jeep ride on, a play house, another play structure, and baby swings. This particular play structure has slides for both the little ones and the bigger kids. If you walk a few steps further you'll also see a small splash pad area and a gated miniature golf. On the side of the playground there's a gated soccer field, it's small but good enough for a kids game. What I liked about this playground is the fact that although it's small, they have set up different play sections through out the park so that kids aren't gathered all in one area, but it's small so you can still keep an eye on your kids from almost anywhere in the playground. The play structure near the splash pad is the most convenient for parents like me who have a toddler and a preschooler because I can easily keep an eye on my son while swinging my daughter no matter if he's in the splash pad, on the play structure or playing in the jeep or play house. The good: different play features, benches with canopies, bbq grills, seating all around the park, and splash pad in the summer. Neg: small parking lot, small basketball court, play structure and flooring showing some wear.

Love this park , especially during summer. The splash pad is a blast. Only downfall is no shaded area near the sprinklers.

There's a lake, a pool, a kid's playground area, a bike path, plenty of benches and tables. There's even a small basketball court/hoops. Obviously, the pool is closed right now, there are no basketball rims, and the playground area is blocked off due to covid. But there's still plenty to enjoy in this park! Everyone seems to keep their distance here and wear masks when near others, so that's good. Get outside and get some sun!

I don't visit the South Gate area often, so my visits to the City of Bell Gardens will be rare. The only reason I wanted to visit this park was because from an overhead perspective on Google Maps Satellite View, it looked like a nice, serene place to stretch your legs and relax for a little while. With a duck pond in the middle of the park and plenty of walkways around the park, I was starting to feel this could be Bell Garden's equivalent of Wilderness Park in Downey minus the parking fee for visitors who reside in a different city. Unfortunately, I do not plan to return to this park next time I'm in Bell Gardens. The park is located adjacent to the Bell Gardens Sports Center, and I almost thought the two were connected to one another, but it would be a really long walk from one end to the other. There appeared to be a gate in the back corner of the park that led to the back corner of the sports complex, but the "No Trespassing" sign deterred me from walking in that direction. I parked on the east end of the park where there is a playground and a couple of basketball courts by the adult school. The playground and the basketball courts seemed to be in fine condition, but nobody was playing there when I went. Towards the west, you'll see a myriad of picnic tables scattered about, so it does feel pretty open in that area. However, the grass is definitely greener in other parks, and I should have taken that as a sign of things to come when I was walking towards the duck pond. As I'm walking about the duck pond, I was literally grossed out by a ton of filth both on the walkways as well as at the pond's edges. No joke, there were so much filth on the corners that it almost looked like you could walk across them, but of course, I would never put my foot in the water just to try. If I did, I'd almost certainly need a new shoe! In one of those corners, I saw three turtles that appeared they were trying to slowly but surely fight their way towards the surface of the pond so as to not drown. I almost thought they were dead, but I did witness some slight movement in them, a glimmer of hope that they could have been saved if animal control were in the area. But with how filthy and murky these waters were, I didn't want to put my hands in there, and I didn't know what to do to save them. As much as I wanted to, I had to leave them be :( The ducks swimming in the cleaner parts of the pond or standing on the fringe were in much better spirits, though the ones on land barely exhibited any movement whatsoever, perhaps symbolic of how inactive this park is even in good weather. There was construction nearby, which necessitated a great deal of fences around the park. Some of the fences blocked the walkway around the pond, so I had to walk in the grass/dirt between the pond and the fence while circumnavigating the pond. I don't know what that construction was about, but I hope something good will come of it. During my visit, it was a bothersome nuisance in my trying to immerse myself in relaxing scenery. The restrooms weren't in good condition either. The sink I used was barely working, and I didn't want to even bother with the hand dryer. Lastly, a lot of the parkgoers acted kind of weird that I can understand why the playground and basketball courts were empty on an otherwise beautiful day. I didn't really feel safe in the park, and I was starting to worry that one of those weirdos would heckle me. Luckily, nobody did. Overall, I regret stopping by this park. It does not appear to be maintained well, and I can't be certain this area is safe if I didn't see that many people there. If I do make a return visit to this area, I would rather stop by the adjacent sports complex next door even though I don't play sports, but I at least could watch some soccer players practicing on the fields there.
