Since the location is out of the way, the restaurant being open to the public as a regular restaurant didn't work out but now it is open for special events (you can find them on their website or Facebook page), parties or weddings. I miss being able to just go there for dinner, enjoy the view and the beautiful house but understand why they had to change the operation. The food is worth the price, the staff is friendly and they are happy to show off the restaurant and allow you to walk around and check it out.

I don't like that they tore down the detached Carriage House that was also on the property. The House is beautiful and unique with history. I am perennially disappointed with the golf course and I have been to only one function in the House since it was restored. The food was nothing remarkable and the service was even more non-descript. I don't know what they charge for functions there, but I thought that maybe they would have improved the surroundings a bit more to accommodate the status of the Obici House, the surrounding out buildings, clubhouse, 18th hole and driving range. It looks like they did the bare minimum to the house. I don't want to tarnish this review too much since I haven't been there for an official event within the last year. I noticed that they are having an open house soon and I plan to check it out and update my review. I would recommend that if the price seems to high for your event, then pass on Obici House until you start seeing better reviews on the service and food.

She helped me personal train and helped me understand meal prepping and what to look for in my foods and what I need nutrients-wise for my goal as well as my weight goals! She kept pushing me to my PRs are farther:) She is so understanding and takes every problem I had whether it was with meal-prepping or weight-lifting posture hesitancies and how to overcome. I highly recommend her but definitely reach out and check in with her! She can book up quickly because of how awesome and thorough she is with her clients!! She can also guide you through the different rooms in Riverview such as the redlight therapy and saunas and what not and the importance of them on the body physically and mentally. Especially if you are using tables and chairs, please be mindful of your guests and their ability to move about the room without worry. The restrooms here were tidy and spacious. The parking lot is a bit small. I am unsure if the venue has overflow parking. The parking lot in front of the building will fill up fast. I am not sure if this place offers catering, but you are able to use your own caterer for your event. I believe if you are having a night event, you must clear the premises by 11 pm. Overall, for the time spent here, I enjoyed this venue. My only side eye is the limited parking. And if you are attending at night, be extra careful... the lighting outside is not good at all. You may have trouble finding this location at night due to the low lighting. But as you are approaching your turn slow down because you can easily miss the turn from the main street. I was brought to tears because this event was planned as a celebration to remember for my Mother. When you pay (in ALL CASH) to use a venue, you expect a professional setup, as promised. This establishment offers: a full basketball court gymnasium, seating in the gym, a full kitchen, meeting rooms, a fitness center, office space etc. It is beautiful inside. Consider this place for all your event space needs at a great price. The Family Life Center is located adjacent to the main sanctuary. Plenty of parking and the entrance is handicap accessible as well. I attended the Grand Opening on a Friday night and the gymnasium was transformed into a reception area for 100+ attendees. There was still room to feature a live band that consisted of at least 5 members. I am loving it! The vibe is awesome and I cannot wait to use all the amenities this center offers.
