I'm here because of Molly. She's my go-to for my haircut and shampoo.for a few years now. I can't say enough about the quality of her work, it's always a nice and relaxing and satisfying experience when I visit her at Little Barber. Just got my usual haircut and shampoo from Molly a couple of weeks ago. She knows my hair and how to cut and shape it perfectly. I have gone through many barbers throughout the years, several since the early 2000's. They all usually gave me a good cut, but I would always have to get a new cut w/in a month as I noticed my hair started to grow out uneven and not symmetrical in shape. It looked so unbalanced that I couldn't style it the way I wanted to anymore and would resort to another trim. Little did I know it had to do with their technique and the quality of the haircut. I met Molly a few years ago and explained this to her, she was confident in her ability and technique and said it will get better as she gets to know my hair. She said she was open for feedback as my hair grows to make any necessary tweaks. From the first haircut - everything was perfect. As my hair grew out I noticed it was still in good shape and symmertical, no odd areas, and I could easily style it. I was so happy with the result and that keeps me going back to Molly at Little Barber. And do get the shampoo. Because it's like an awesome head massage that takes me into bliss. I recently moved back to Austin and needed to find a new barber. I am probably an easy cut for most barbers, but I am also pretty picky when finding someone to cut my hair. I tried a few spots in Austin just to see what seemed right for me. I ended up visiting Little Barber because of the positive reviews and also the convenient location in the middle of town. I was really happy with the laid back environment, the good conversations, easy parking, and of course the barbers who all seemed very capable of setting me out into the world with a good haircut. I ended up getting a cut with Dan and I realized pretty quickly that I had found someone that I could trust with my cuts. She is super friendly, very precise, and eager to get you an amazing cut. It cost me almost 50 bucks to let you help me create a slope on my head. I wanted the barber to recommend a hairstyle for me, as long as it looks fresh and could help me survive in hot weather. In other words, I can accept any hairstyle you offer as long as it in good quality. But the reality is, the barber didn't take my haircut seriously, basically gave a random cut with the hair length unbalanced on left and right(also create a slope on the right side), and didn't cut off the tiny hair on my font head. 45min service time I responsible for the first 10min late due to the traffic. The left time i think is enough for you offer me a clean short cut( you even got a time talk with other barbers). Don't you know the haircut is important for everybody? Waste time and waste money, the barbershop I used go can do a good 45 min careful service in 35 dollars ( the cut is clean and in a good quality ) Terrible! Never! Come! Back! I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to styling my hair/beard and I've never been able to achieve that "look" I've been searching for. However, I met with Belle not too long ago and she was absolutely AMAZING. She had amazing haircut suggestions and even showed me how to properly maintain my newly shaped beard which I've personally had the biggest struggle with. I walked in without out an appointment an hour before they closed needing a quick fix for previous haircut gone wrong at a different Austin barber shop. Marie made the experience great by asking multiple questions and even showing me pictures (I didn't have a reference photo) to make sure she knew what I wanted. The overall ambiance of the place was nice, everyone was chill and sometimes funny. She took her time to add details to my hair and make it perfect. This is a small local barbershop with excellent facilities and a very relaxed and put together vibe (+ great music always). I have been getting my hair cut by Dan consistently for over six months now and have never had a bad experience.
