Little Augie's is a cute little hole in the wall serving up pizza and cocktails in cozy chic environment. They serve pizza with thin crust, medium crust, and thick crust--so whatever your preference, they have a pizza crust to suit. Their toppings are varied and they have a few specialty pizzas as well. We opted for a sausage and onion pizza on a medium crust. It was good with just enough crust to be chewy. We typically enjoy vegetarian pizzas but their veggie selection was a bit uninspired (onions, peppers, mushrooms, and olives). They did have a BBQ chicken pizza which sounded good though! They also have a selection of salads. I got their side salad which was crisp iceberg, carrots, and cheese. It was basic but super fresh with housemade thousand island. For my cocktail, I got the whiskey smash, which was tasty (though a bit light on the whiskey). Our server was friendly and the prices are reasonable. read more

Sh*t service literally Every.Single.Time. I only ordered from there because they deliver- not because they are particularly good. (They do toppings under the cheese- annoying.) What's more annoying is that when we dove into the last pizza we ever ordered- the "toppings" were incorrect. We called and complained and The Manager told us we were liars, he stated it wasn't wrong because he made it himself... and that was the last time we ever ordered from there. I paid money to have a pizza made per my order it wasn't and not only did it not get it fixed... but I was insulted and called a name in the process. Will never order from there ever again- my local family won't either- price vs taste isn't worth it- price vs taste aaannnd the insults... it undoubtedly is not worth it! Little Augies has the BEST thin crust pizza around! I'd eat it every day if that were an acceptable diet for the human body. And they're really awesome for offering gluten-free options, my partner is celiac and it's the only pizza place around nearby that has options for him. read more

I'll start by saying I've been a customer of Little Augie's since high school, over 30 years ago. But this was hands down the worst restaurant experience I've had in a decade... We decided to eat at Little Augie's for our (3 day early) anniversary dinner on a Saturday evening. Got there at 5:01 pm, my wife ordered cheese bread and a blueberry walnut salad, I ordered lasagna. Another group of 6 walked in about 10 minutes after us. 20 minutes after ordering, waiter comes out to tell me that they're out of lasagna and I order a small pizza instead. Meanwhile, they bring out my wife's salad and the cheese bread. The wife's salad was rancid and I start nibbling on the cheese bread. The table next to us gets their food (despite being a larger party and having arrived well after us), including the exact pizza I had ordered. Finally, after waiting for what seemed like eons, at 6:05 pm (an hour after we arrived) we decided to cut our losses and talked to the owner Jordan at the bar asking to just pay for what we had eaten and then we'd go. The owner first argued with me about the walnuts on the salad being rancid ("I just bought those last week!"), and then went into the back and told the waiter to make up my bill. She didn't even bother to come to the table and talk to me after she went in the back - she came back, messed with the TV at the bar, then started playing on her phone. Little Augie's has gone way way way downhill since the good days when you could hear John in the back, and this is the third time it's been a disappointing experience. I'm done with them. read more

We're new to the area and wanted to try this restaurant and the pizza. Husband ordered a salad and I ordered the pizza. Husband's salad came out quickly but I had to wait almost thirty minutes for my pizza and when I asked what the delay was I was told they forgot to put in the oven and they were busy (only two other customers in restaurant) and a few online order. So I had to wait another 20 minutes for my order. Needless to say we left without getting my food and having to pay for the salad. Not sure how this owner stays in business if they can't handle a few customers in the restaurant. Then looking on the FB page s/he's complaining about her customers and all the woes of owning a business. Very unprofessional. read more

Positively the best pizza you can get in the area. Located inside of an early twentieth century house, dining in is somewhat of a nostalgic experience on it's own. I hope it never changes. I hope the old antenna boom box on top of the cast iron furnace never leaves. I hope the mix and match furniture pieces placed around its big open rooms never get updated. I hope Joe never changes his favorite from sausage, Canadian bacon, onion, extra sauce, extra cheese. We ordered two pizzas for delivery, they took about an hour for delivery, and were cold. The pizzas tasted terrible, almost like cardboard. After waiting an hour for the food, we were starving and ate them anyway. When I called to speak with the manager, I spoke with a woman who identified herself as the owner and was told "I guess you'll have to order from somewhere else." I will do that and I do NOT recommend this place to anyone else. read more

In my opinions n some of the best deep dish I've ever had. We were invited by some friends to try it and so we made the 45 minute drive to give it a shot. First; it's in an amazing old house that used to be a funeral home. Pretty neat. The staff was quick to check with us and get us a table. The owner even came out to see how we were enjoying our food. We ordered two pizzas. One half cheese/half pepperoni and the other was the fireball Hawaiian. We got some pasta for the baby which they made sure was cool before we could feed the youngest. One medium pizza fed three kids and two women with one slice left over. The fireball Hawaiian was a beast. Toppings galore. Thick crust with a nice crispy bottom. Supremely spicy and delicious. Very good pizza! We always order the Augie special whenever we have some extra money & coupons. It can get kinda greasy, but in my opinion it is a lot better than Pizza Hut, Casey's, & Knotty Pine. So disappointed - horrible customer service. We ordered a pizza and wings last month which took 2 hours to be delivered. Upon arrival it was COLD...not even a little warm. We called to tell them the issue with our order and they promised us a free pizza and wings for future order. We tried tonight to order our free meal and were told "we don't give away free food! HOLY COW where do I begin.......I ordered on Saturday Night 2 sandwiches and a Cheeseburger Pizza from little Augies, I might premise this post with the fact that I did post this on her Facebook page on Little Augies under comments and was met with a barrage of upset towns people and friends because I posted a negative comment about the service not the food, had I have known not to give an opinion other than the positive one they want I would have put my comment here, it also was removed from their facebook page so I removed it totally from there, way too many angry friends and people I do not know making silly comments who do not know the whole story, so here it goes..........I again, ordered 2 sandwiches and a Cheeseburger pizza ( a new speciality pizza) , about 5 minutes later we get a call back from a worker who states they cant make the cheeseburger pizza because they do not have all the ingredients, I was like why did not you tell me that when I placed my order, I was met with, well that was a delivery person, I said ok not my fault you should give me the works Pizza in place of the cheeseburger, again I was met with we cant do that ......by the way the works is the same price as the cheeseburger pizza...you can look that up and see that, I said yes you can and the young lady proptly passed the phone to the owner"Jordan" who also reiterated that they can not give me the works because as she said " Why should you get something for free when it was a little mistake" she than offered to go get the missing ingredient to make the Pizza....Ketchup ....lol...I was so pissed at that time I told her ...yes why dont you go get it and make my pizza, by this time I was not talking I was yelling, yes at some point you do loose it, and she was again spouting off about getting something for free crap, and then said ok ok you win are you happy I am going to give you your works pizza for the same price as the cheeseburger ....are you happy........silly owner who does not know they were the SAME price...I was not getting anything for free.......we place our order and then my sons and I were so upset we called back 5 minutes later and canceled our order...not 20 minutes like she is stating......I posted on her Little Augies Facebook page, my displeasure with the owner about how I was treated, I must have had to defend myself from no less than 15 people making snide comments and silly comments, I removed it ....I did infact tell this owner ( I did fb messenger her to tell her I would be glad to speak with her regarding the events that followed the previous night, all she could do is to state to quit messaging her on fb, well then you should not have accepted my invite.......lol...I can not tell you how disappointed I am in this little town, and I will tell you I have not had a problem with the food just the ownership ........ read more
